My Mercedes was experiencing a number of problems. At this specific auto shop they took there time to analyze each particular problem, they took time to address each problem I had mentioned myself about my Mercedes. As a person with mild experience with vehicles it was nice to take my car to a trustworthy auto shop. The crew treated myself and my time with dignity and respect. Everything they wanted to do with my car to fix it came with 100% transparency 110% of the time. After getting my vehicle fixed here it running 125% better then it ever has. I am happy and proud to feel a part of the Scott Shermab auto care family! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone with any vehicle. The pricing was beyond fair and they worked with me every step of the way so I could stay within my means. Once again thank you Scott Sherman auto care! Definitely will be back for life!

I had an issue with my car starting, seemingly an issue with the terminals and brought it to this shop. They looked at it right away and spotted a small crack in one of the terminals (I didn't spot it when I looked before). The swapped the broken one out for newer and sturdier one and the car started better than ever. They didn't charge me at all, neither for the time spent or the part. Excellent service and communication.

These guys are fixers with a can do attitude. Their pricing is fair and working with them is fantastic. I can't believe I'm saying this but I was absolutely a "delighted" customer. My car problem was that my engine had an unsealed spark plug and a stripped spark plug hole. My usual mechanic told me the car (2001 Land Cruiser) was done (because of age and mileage) and that they would install a new engine for $8800. Tony and Michol fixed the problem for approx $300. The engine is running beautifully and sounds great. Go with these guys! You will find your auto care shop.

Scott Sherman is hands down the best shop I’ve delt with, took my truck to get fixed and couldn’t have been happier. Communication 10/10 Professionalism 10/10 Workmanship 10/10 They were direct, clear and transparent about the cost. The team there went above and beyond to get me back on the road asap. After a getting a bad part from the vendor these guys drove to 4 hours to go pick up a part and bring it back just to make sure I could get my truck back quickly. Would give y’all more stars if I could. Thanks for everything and I will be back if I ever need something else done.

If I could give more stars, I would! I've been bringing my car here for a couple years now for general maintenance. I'm so pleased with my most recent experience -- I brought my car in for new brakes, new tires and an oil change, and they replaced a headlight and reattached my license plate free, without me even asking. I was able to get an appointment scheduled quickly and the whole process was so easy and stress-free. All of this work came out well below what I was expecting it to. The service is so exceptional here, I'll continue coming back for all my car needs. Super happy and thank you Mike!!

I can’t recommend these mechanics enough!!! We were on a road trip driving through Seattle when our check engine light came on. They squeezed us in to check out what was wrong even though they were busy into next week and were amazingly generous in their willingness to fix the issue. It was particularly kind of them help us as we didn’t live in Seattle and were just passing through. They were incredibly generous, and even offered that I could call them to ask for advice if the issue came back up on our trip. Thank you soooo much Michol and Tony! Would highly recommend this shop!

Super friendly helpful people here. I went in with a mysterious issue with my car that they were able to help me troubleshoot (after the dealership had happily taken my money to find nothing wrong but no explanation). They talked through this issue with me for a good 15 minutes and at the end we came to the conclusion that there was no work needed for my car at this time. Never felt pressure to buy or pay more for a service that wasn't explained well to me - especially as a young woman going there alone. The shop is small and rough around the edges but I would feel comfortable going there again for future services

Going to the mechanic to get my car looked at/fixed is to me what going to the dentist is for many other people - anxiety inducing, scary, and something I generally dread. However, I just had a fantastic experience at Scott Sherman Auto today that was as painless and stress free as possible, making me think I may just start singing a different tune. Here’s why: 1. From my initial call on Monday on, they have been helpful, patient, informative and transparent. 2. They were able to get my car in for a diagnostics appointment within 48 hours of my call and worked with my schedule for pick up timing. (Note - prior to calling here, I had already tried two other shops that were booked out for 3+ weeks!) 3. I went in for a check up, fearing a transmission replacement was in my near future… big yikes. It still might be, but that wasn’t the only option I was presented. They spent a great deal of their time walking me through each option and allowing me to ask many questions about each to ensure I had a good understanding of all possible paths forward. Never once did I feel that I was being talked down to or made to feel stupid. 4. I saved the best for last - I went in knowing that a diagnostics test would be $175. The test wasn’t able to diagnose any definitive issues (at no fault of the shop), so I was not charged.. at all… not even for their time. WOW!!!! Cannot recommend these guys enough. Regardless of whatever is next for me and my car, this is the place I’ll be going for all my auto repair needs!

Michol , Tony , and the entire shop are always great with there work and what they do. If you need a local shop in the Greenwood area , this is the best place to take your vehicle. Took my car in for an oil change and investigation of sticking front brakes 6 months ago. They told me I needed new calipers and rotors and quoted me something like $1500 Ended up taking apart the brakes myself and the calipers were completely fine, replaced the pads and rotors for $200 and brakes have been perfect since. Also just did my latest oil change and realized they had overtightened the filter by at least 10-20x torque specified by Toyota. Spent a crazy amount of time wrenching off the filter which should have been hand tight. I think because I drive a Prius they assumed that I have no idea about cars and tried to take advantage. Glad I have a house/ garage now and can do these things myself and not be scammed by 2 bit mechanics.

TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I do not do reviews often, but the employees at Scott Sherman truly deserve all the credit after the experience I had with them. I got referred to them from another Auto place in town. I called in a panic/mid mental breakdown due to being in a transition from school to a job, running out of funds, AND I live in the vehicle getting worked on. The gentleman offered to allow me to stay in the vehicle overnight on their lot if I needed, they got my car fixed in 2 days, and gave me a 10% discount as a first time customer. AND gave me the confidence to calm down and trust that they were going to help me work through this challenge. When I was still having some issues the next day they let me come back in looked at it for free and again gave me a discount on the next issue we had to work through. NOT TO MENTION, through all of my questions as a nervous person under stress with min to mod knowledge on car things from my uncles, they explained everything to me in layman's terms. The honesty and straight forwardness was incredible. It truly felt like a collaborative experience and gave me the autonomy to make informed decisions about my situation. I will be back for any issues I might have in the future and will be referring everyone I care about to them.

We started using Scott Sherman within the last year to install aftermarket rear leaf springs on our new Nissan NV2500's we use in our fleet. Jeremy & Chris are both always very helpful when it comes to scheduling & getting work done when they say it will be done. Having one of our guys out of his service van is always difficult with any type of repair, but the guys at Scott Sherman sure make it a lot easier on my end & do great work. You can't beat the warranty either!

I Tried calling everyday this week to make an appointment but nobody answered the phone and no outgoing message. I decided to drop by at 9am Saturday right at opening (according to Google). it was a bizarre scene. There was a homeless-looking broken down RV parked in the driveway with power lines running to the building. I knocked on the office door but nobody answered, so I opened it and the door was blocked by some junk strewn across the floor inside. The place looked completely ransacked with junk all over the place and something was burning near the counter. It Sounded like some decent reviews for this place at one point but it now seems more like a chop shop when I showed up. I decided to just go somewhere else. I guess this place is closed? 🤷
