After having a sketchy experience at a dealership, I reached out to see if Sebastion would be willing to look at my car. From the beginning he was honest and treated me with respect. He kept me in the loop the entire time he had my car, gave me honest expectations and accurate (affordable) quotes. I didn't really get to meet anyone other than Sebastion, but the gentleman that checked me out when I picked up my car was also very kind. Overall, awesome trustworthy mechanic place. Definitely will continue coming to them (I have an older car, so im sure it will continue to need work with time) and recommending to everyone I meet. Thank you so much Sebastion, not only did you help me from not getting scammed you also gave me su h a positive experience. Truly an amazing buisness.

Our vehicle broke down nearly 800 miles from home and a new friend recommended Sebastian's Mobile Mechanic services. Sebastian's team did their best to get us back on the road quickly and our Jeep is running great now. Thank you for your integrity and quality work!

I was able to get my truck in and diagnosed same day. Ended up have a cracked radiator and broken fuel pump. Sebastian said they could have the car done by the next day. Not only did they drive me to my son’s daycare and then home but they were able to finish the truck the same day! These men stayed working past hours to get my truck back to me and charge me out. Price was very reasonable. Customer service was excellent. It’s been a while since I’ve had a good experience with a mechanic and this shop is a welcome change!

I brought my truck in for an assessment. I expected $150 charge. Due to a computer problem, they were unable to diagnose the problem and never charged me! Very decent to work with. So appreciated!

I have taken a few vehicles here for work. They do a decent job but communication is lacking. I always have to call them for any updates or even when my vehicle is ready.

Sebastian Mobile Mechanic staff came to my home and picked up my 2015 Benz and my Sprinter travel Van first thing in the morning and returned them later in the day. The staff I dealt with were courteous and polite . I have used them numerous times over the plast number of years. I would highly recommend this company.

I had an issue with my car that I thought needed to be fixed. I was able to get in quickly and they not only did a free diagnostic test, but they were also honest and said my car didn’t need fixed. They explained everything very well on what I could be experiencing and what to look out in the future. Very kind and professional.

Overpriced and does not take responsibility for their work. Had to replace rear view mirror because it was flopping around. Charged me $150, 2 months in it's flopping around again. Took it back in thinking that they would fix it, he said there was nothing they could do!! He didn't even try to help me with it or rectify the situation he couldn't be bothered. I would never recommend this shop to anybody terrible.

Called to check on cost to loosen harmonic balancer bolt, seemed like the female person to lazy to speak over the phone basically did all the labor for a mechanic to come with an impact wrench to loosen the 19mm/3/4 bolt

Had this place diagnose my car a while back because of a noise I couldn't figure out. They said it was the right wheel hub bearing/assembly. Was charged good price and later on finally got time to do the job myself. They made the right diagnoses and I'm happy that the nose is gone. Def will be back if I have any issues with my car that I cant do at home!

TLDR? They will give you a quote, then tell you that the job needs more parts after it’s apart. They will charge you for an oil change you never signed for. They will send you photos of a damaged part, that isn’t actually damaged. The front desk put that the valve cover gaskets weren’t covered under their 2 year 24,000 mile warranty because it wasn’t diagnosed, I asked them to change the gaskets. Until I questioned that logic since you could see the leak when you popped the hood. The paperwork was then changed to say the work done was under warranty. The warranty eligibility is not on your receipt, it’s in their computer system. Got time to read? Here we go. I went in for leaking valve cover gaskets, got a quote for the job. Cool. They called me later after I dropped off my vehicle. They need to order more gaskets that they forgot to include in the original quote. Tack on over $150 more. Got a call, the car is ready. They said I needed new upper control arm ball joints, ball joints have torn boots. I said that’s odd, they are fairly new. And you can’t just install new ball joints, they’re aftermarket (JBA). They sent me photos, yep, big gash in the boot to the ball joint (photo attached). I tell her it’s not regular ball joints, they’re rebuildable, I will fix it myself. Go to get the vehicle. They did an oil change that wasn’t authorized, $40 up charge. I speak to the tech about the need for an oil change. He said it’s because dirt can get in the engine during the valve cover job. Okay. So you did the job, ran the engine to pull the dirt down into the pan and filter then changed the oil? No. So the dirt is still at the top of the engine after the oil change then. Well, we wipe most of it out. What we miss the oil and filter catches. Yea, the new oil and filter because you didn’t run the engine before you changed the oil. The tech eventually says I’m right, but the new oil and filter will have a better job of catching the dirt. Well, that’s nice, my old oil and filter were about 1,000 miles old. So it wasn’t needed. They agree to take 50% of the charge off the oil change. I take the vehicle home, order new ball joint boots. Because, you know, I saw a photo of a torn boot. I get the new boots in the mail. Separate the upper control arm from the knuckles… not a single tear in my boots. The photo they sent me has a very large tear in the boot that appears contaminated with dirt. Nope, mine were fine. The small knick in the left boot on the last image was from channel locks when I removed them from the control arm. Photos included. The valve cover job looks good. Two stars for quick turn around time and the valve cover job seems well done. All wiring and hoses appear to be properly connected after the job. ———————— Update: Sebastian called me and apologized for my experience. He asked what could be done to win my business in the future and informed me he will speak to his employees to provide better service in the future. He was polite, thanked me for my honest review and listened without interrupting me. I greatly appreciate the call, Sebastian. I will be giving them another chance in the future. Review modified from 2, to 3 stars.
