I contacted Spike via email with a potential paint issue on my vehicle. Spike responded promptly and made time for me to come in immediately, so that he could diagnose the issue. Spike and his team spent 1-hour of their time diagnosing and providing potential solutions to my paint issue. They walked me through all of my options, associated costs, and the likelihood of success for each option. Even though I have never used Spike before, he and his team treated me like a valued customer. To top it off, Spike did not ask for any compensation for his time. I ended up choosing an option that did not require repainting, but I can assure you that when I need paint work for my vehicles or motorcycles, I will be returning to Spike. I would encourage anyone who is in need of paint work or refinishing to contact Spike and experience true professionalism.

Spike’s did a great job making our tired looking car look better than new. It can be very difficult to find quality paintwork at a reasonable price, but Spike’s offers both. They are also honest, timely, and easy to work with. They are also very meticulous and capable of knocking out show car quality work if you need something more than just a daily driver makeover.

I bought an aftermarket hood for my Mustang that was painted by the company. After receiving it, the hood had paint issues. I needed part of it to be fixed/re-painted so I got referred to Spike's. I was told Dean the owner aka Spike was the only one he trusted so I took my hood to him traveling almost 2 hours one way to drop it off and then again to pick it up. If anyone knows me I will only drive that far if I feel it is going to be worth it. Was it? Absolutely. Dean is not only super cool and trustworthy, but his work is top notch and he has good prices. My hood color that's green is not a color you see everyday. He matched it perfectly. He does all kinds of work including plasti dipping. If you want someone who can do paint/body work the right way this is the place to go. I only wish I knew about Dean/Spike's when I ordered my hood because I would have ordered it unpainted and just had him do it. If I need anymore work I know where I am going and I highly recommend if you go here too.

My truck was backed into and I dealt with one shop and spoke to so many other shops and then finally after feeling like I was never gonna find the right shop, I came across Spikes. If you're looking for a repair shop that is above expectations, please check out Spike's Performance and Refinishing. Had the experience of doing damage to my Corvette. Did not know who to go to, called Burnyzz's, who has done work on my '68 Chevy C10. They recommended Spike's. Went up there, found him to be most pleasant, honest and after a period found this all to be true. The man did a fantastic job on my Corvette. Do yourself a favor and if you need quality work please visit this shop.

my experience with spikes refinishing was not a good one. I decided to use spikes for a full paint job because he does a lot of foxbody mustangs and heard he is a great painter so i decided to ship my car there all all the way from NH . i put a deposit back in july of 2024 to drop my car off in october 2024. My brother was visiting florida with his family in April of 2025 so i had him drive by spikes refinishing and there was my car sitting outside parked on the dirt with parts leaning on it with not one thing touched on it for 6 months. I decided to take back my car because i know i felt like i was getting stringed along. This was a expensive lesson for me of losing $2500 in shipping . I am sure spikes does great work but he needs to learn how to run his business better because people talk in the fox body community and my car was not the only one sitting there EDIT: Brittany this is the first i heard about the fuel leak , yes i sent the car down there with fuel in the tank and it came back empty because you guys pumped it out and still left it outside on the dirt and you can clearly see a part leaning on the car with a bumper next to it .

I can’t say enough about how great of a job Spikes did on our corvette! It’s 9 years old and they matched the paint perfectly and all repairs look great!!!! Spikes went above and beyond to make this car beautiful again after the accident. Spoke himself is just a wonderful person to work with! Spike did an amazing job on our Collector Edition Pontiac Trans Am!! I bought a tonneau cover to make it look like a two-seater. He and his crew matched the paint color perfectly!! It fit perfectly and looks great. I couldn't be happier. Awesome job!!

From phone call to finish spikes performance was an awesome experience. They did a truly fantastic awesome job for me on some motorcycle tins that another shop had butchered. They stripped everything down and redid it and it really looks great. I would definitely use spikes again. The woman that answers the phones she’s great. Thanks!
