Unfortunately I parted ways with my previous Mercedes shop that my family has been using for 30 years. As much as I hate to say it, had I known Star Service along w/ Jerry and his crew were out there in Tempe (which is on the other side of town for me) I would have done it a long time ago. Jerry and Si fixed an idle problem that no one had seemed to be able to fix for the last 20 years, fixed an A/C leak, fixed the brake system and did some other work for me all at a very reasonable cost. I should also mention, they did replace and fix several minor issues they came across while working on the vehicle at NO COST! I can't recommend these guys enough and from now on, I'll be making the drive to Tempe when I need any work done on this car.

I am new to the Phoenix Metro area and I was very skeptical with trusting my E-350 to just anyone. I first visited the shop to get a quote and feel for the atmosphere. After visiting many other shops, Jerry with Star Service definitely had the best customer service and very knowledgeable about Mercedes. If you are a woman who get tired of service repair shops giving you astronomical repair prices you should try Star Service, they are very honest.

Jerry is nicest, honest mechanic Ive met in YEARS probably ever. Nobody hardly even wants to touch an old benz. I explained to him how I was in a bind due to losing a job right after buying a project. They inspected my 50 year old 73 and didn't charge me a dime. He defienaly has my business for life. Don't hesitate to use this shop. People like Jerry are hard to come by these days.

Jerry is the best! He does all he can to keep costs down and is great with the repairs. He has made the restoration of my 300D a dream with his hard work. He goes above and beyond with the service he has provided to me since I first took my car to his facility. I honestly believe people should buy a used Mercedes that needs repairs just so they can have the ability to interact with Jerry. I tell as many people as I can about the shop so they can know how much money they will be able to save and the level of service they will receive. If you read this review and are wondering where to take your Mercedes...take it to this service center. I am not sure words can convey the esteem I hold for Jerry and his business.

This was a terrific MB repair shop. I was from out of town and the my car suddenly broke. The staff here were extremely helpful and most importantly honest. I’ve taken all of my Benz’s to Jerry and Sy. I wouldn’t trust my cars in anybody else’s hands. They have so many years experience on these cars, I would trust them over any Mercedes’ dealership. They have found and repaired items that no one else even had a clue what they were looking for. And their charges are really great as I’m disabled and live on fixed income. I feel like they are family everytime I go in their office. Thanks Jerry for always taking care of me!!!

The mechanics are trained to work on Mercedes. They are fast and do a fantastic job. I have never had a complaint with the work they have done. They do the work for a reasonable price. Much less expensive than the dealership. They explain the work that they do and what needs to be done Jerry is very personable and he will work with you no matter what needs to be done on your car.

Never charged me for something i didnt need but kept up on maintenance at every oil change so my car would always be running perfectly. In all of my years of working, I have underestimated certain people in life. Things have gone wrong in my car, and I blamed other people. Just recently, I caused a problem on my car. I asked Star Service (Sy, Jerry and Kyle) to save me and to correct a problem with my timing. Many a time I have wanted to work on my car myself; I have caused many a problem. Star service not only addressed my repair, but they did it with class and inexpensively. I was really impressed with them. They are a class act. They are one of the few last businesses that deal with the older Mercedes 1968 to 1991 - the old guild. They believe in the Mercedes Brotherhood and will give you a fair shake. Thank you Star Service for restoring my faith in my car and the Mercedes brotherhood. We all believe in the brotherhood, but when it comes to coming through for someone, you outshine a lot of other people - your the best! Thanks for the good will and the generous customer service in our time of iniquity and the personal belief that our vehicles are important. Amen! Thank you for taking care of us Star Service!
