AC Repair: 94 Jeep Bottom Line: Wasted a ton of my money, ordered the wrong parts, and still couldn't fix my AC Absolutely had to get my AC fixed in my Jeep before leaving on a long road trip. I had them look at it a month and a half before leaving town. They are a NAPA certified store so I thought I was good. I paid a one time fee to have them run the diagnostic to see what parts were bad. Over the month and a half I had time for, they replaced one part, ordered three others, one of which wouldn't work on my jeep, and the day before I left town, I went to return the parts that they didn't have time to install, and they told me that one of the parts I was trying to return wasn't from their store. They all but told me I was a liar and that I was trying to cheat them out of the $33 that the part cost. There is no way that the part that they ordered, that was in their box, wasn't the same one. They ended up giving me most of it's worth back, but only after a huge ordeal. Over hours and hours of me sitting in their shop waiting for my vehicle to get done, and $400 later, I left town with my AC still not working. They should be ashamed. I will not only never go back to another NAPA store, but I will only go to a full on Vehicle AC repair shop the next time I have to deal with this type of issue again. Thanks for wasting a ton of my time and money.

I have used T&B for many years now and trust their work completely. Tim and his mechanics are great people. Very honest with reasonable prices and very quick work.

I had the dreaded check engine light come on and I went to this place based on a referral from another local mechanic . They do great with Toyotas and the tow truck driver that took my car to the shop said good things about T&B automotive.

They are very well priced and accurate with their their diagnosis, they have worked on our old go to the dump truck as well as our other vehicles. The only one they haven't worked on is our newest car and that's because it's under warranty.

Asked to replace a motor mount, they replaced all of them and a back wheel bearing without asking me first. Didn't do the oil change or head light I asked for, never called to update on a thing, I had to call them. They were 2 days late finishing. Was looking for an honest local shop, but these guys NEVER again.

Today I went to a shop to have my driver side door latch actuator replaced and they stripped one of the 3 bolts and said sorry.... I stopped by T and B just to see if they could get it out. Not only did they get it out, one of the mechanics offered to put in the actuator I had while he was waiting on parts for a different car. That's awesome! Only reason I took off a star is cause they're not open on weekends.

I love this shop! They are very honest and trustworthy mechanics, and their prices are much lower than other shops in town. They did an amazing job trying to help me understand what was wrong with my car, and their customer service is definitely worth going back!

They're a good little repair shop. They've treated me fairly whenever I've used them. I dropped one star due to the fact its hard to get your car in. Very busy shop with a lot of dedicated customers. I highly recommend them, but make sure you're there when they open

Arrived on tow with valves that had gone to the pistons. I agreed to a new engine. I left my truck with them after paying for the engine up front. The estimate showed I would owe approx 2500 when they were done (labor and an install kit). Even though I stated I had several parts on the back seat floor, and could get them other parts, when they were done there was nearly a thousand dollars in parts I never authorized to purchase because I was never called and given that chance. I own my own business and my shop at home had every part they ordered without authorization except the dipstick tube. When I stated my shop could have sent parts I was informed in his shop once its on the lift they dont/wont wait for the owner to send parts. When I was notified it was done, the price quoted remaining was $ 4386....after speaking with the owner and mechanic several times, it was brought down to $3930, still well over the amount I expected. I spoke with the Attorney General office and Consumer Affairs offices. I filed a complaint that will be addressed. I truly feel he felt because I am a pilot car, and female, from out of state, he felt he could just up his prices and I would have no recourse. . The boss of the company I do some freelance.work for went and picked up my truck to spare me storage charges as it would be several weeks before I would get back as I am on a project. They did not know he was coming, didn't know who he was, and allowed him to take my truck without checking with me that I had sent someone. That vehicle is my livelihood and they didn't care to check with me to see if it was someone authorized to take it. I could have lost my truck to someone just wanting it. When I got the chance to ca) to let them know John was coming for it, they stuttered and hemmed and hawed, until. mentioned John would be there shortly to retrieve it.. a sigh of relief then they said he had already come and gone.. Very much not impressed, and will steer as many clear of this location as I can.

T & B has been servicing my family vehicles for over 15 years. They always consult with me about the work to be done. They always offer a fair price, much lower than other shops in town and way lower than dealers. They are equipped to solve electronic issues and have a wealth of knowledge of older vehicles. Many times they have made repairs to my vehicles helping me to keep them running and avoid a new car payment. They do not suggest a repair unless it is needed unlike other shops that try to get the customer to purchase unneeded repairs. They always guarantee their work. If there is a problem, take your vehicle back and they will do everything to satisfy you as the customer. I place the safety of my family in their hands to keep my vehicles in safe running condition.

They deserve 0 Stars. Took my car in and told them that there is a whining sound coming from the engine. I gave them the ok to fix everything, $1400 dollars later they fixed everything but what I took the car in for. I spent $1400 dollars on a car I can not even drive because they did not fix the main issue with the car.

This was my first visit, but it definitely won't be my last. The service was great and the price was more than reasonable.

My 2009 ford F150 needed a spark plug change. I am a aircraft mechanic by trade and like to do most of my own repairs. In this case, I didn't . My truck still had the factory plugs(180k Miles). Anyone who has done this work knows that there is a very likely chance they will snap off in the head. I called around to several repair shops in the area, the quotes were $400-$800. The one for $400 did not include the extraction cost should they break off....out of eight plugs, likely a few will snap or an inexperienced mechanic snaps it off- it would cost me an additional $100 per plug for extractions...yea, do the math over a grand potentially. Seriously, a quality/OEM spark plug cost $10-20 each...really? As a last ditch effort not to be fleeced on costs, I went on Post (Ft Campbell) auto repair shop and they recommended T & B, one of mechanics specialize in Ford F150's and was very good at it ( he use to work on post). All that said, cost me less than $400 and it was done same day(dropped off early morning). Not a single extraction needed. They left the old parts our for me as I do like to see how bad it was. I had them replace the ignition coils that I bought and they did not charge me extra for replacing them...I have used other places and they normally wouldn't allow that or would still charge me anyway even though they remove them anyway. I feel like they did a great job and a great pricing.

T & B automotive is truly a lifesaver! Our vehicle has been acting up and we tried multiple other mechanics who either couldn't get us in for weeks or said they don't know what's wrong without even trying to check. We were recommended to try T&B. We called them on a Wednesday evening and they got us in Friday morning. They were not only able to diagnose our van but had it fixed the same day! They were affordable, honest and beyond helpful. The women who called each time was so nice answering my questions and really took the time to explain things to me. Will be recommending them to everyone!

Misdiagnosed my a/c repair and replaced the compressor which had been replaced one year before. Had to take the car to the dealership to get it done right. Ended up with almost 3k in an 05 accord a/c unit over 18 mos time. Nice guys but they have no diagnostics or decent work space. I’d recommend going somewhere else

After Firestone had my Navigator for alnost 3 weeks and couldn't find the problem i had her towed to these guys. Wish i had started there because in less than 5 days they found the spark plug that had blown out of my engine as well as the burnt out coil. Stevie Wonder coulda found this! That lets me know Firestone just didn't do anything but make excuses. T&B will be getting ALL my buisiness from now on. Be prepared guys cause the Navi needs an Alternator so we'll be seeing you PROS soon!

A whole year and some months my AC has been in op because a squirrel chewed on my wires. These gentlemen were respectful and kind. Nick was straightforward and honest about everything. He didn’t sugarcoat anything. I have been to several different places. I went to the dealership I got the car from. I was told the whole compressor needed to be replaced which baffled me because it was just the wires. I was told by some places they couldn’t fix the part. I am just grateful. I was referred here by a gentleman at the Firestone on base. I’m glad I listened.

Other places either left me unhappy with the service or they kept pushing the repair date further n further away saying their soo busy. My truck broke down on the way to T & B Auto Repair😢. There was a lot of work that needed to been done, and I knew it. They got it in on a Wednesday, checked it out and called Thursday (which I didn't expect so soon!)They knew that my husband was in bad health and we only had 1 veh. The nxt day, Fri. we get a call saying our truck was ready! My truck has never ran so good! Tim & his employees really cared and we're so great! DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR ANY PLACE ELSE! They were Heaven sent!
