They have repaired my car twice. Very friendly staff! I’m pretty sure that whatever it is, it’s going to take at least 3 weeks to repair.

Quality of paint work not only poor, but the passenger fender and headlight was not tightened when I picked up the vehicle. If your looking for a paint/body shop to ruin your vehicle, this is the place for you.

The repairs done on my Rave 4 after an accident on I 24, were outstanding and there is no evidence that any accident ever happened. The car was returned to me much cleaner overall than before, which represents the pride that this shop takes in their work. I gladly recommend this body shop for auto repairs and thank them for their service and cooperation with scheduling.

Great experience, although car repair isn't something most people see as being other than just hoping their auto is back to normal. The repair work was as I expected. They cleaned my car inside and out, even vacuumed mats. Sincere thanks to all staff @ The Body Shop at Long.

What a terrible experience. Don’t use them. My wife’s care was there for almost 3 months She had hit a deer took out the front end. They replaced the bumper with a aftermarket bumper that didn’t fit, the hood had bad paint spots on it. To make it short they had to repaint the hood 3 times replace the bumper 2 times. Each time I came to get it there were new scratches on the car that were not there before and bondo spray across the side of the car. The hood and bumper still don’t line up.

They took 2 weeks longer to fix my car and when I got it back it was such a terrible job. My front and back bumper look like they are falling off or maybe the clips inside are broken. Not sure. But they didn’t match up that paint either. It’s embarrassing.

"I'm extremely satisfied with the exceptional service I received from Jerry and his team! After the insurance company gave us some pushback, John took charge and worked directly with them to resolve the issue. His expertise and persistence made all the difference. But what really impressed me was the outstanding workmanship on my vehicle. My car looks brand new! The attention to detail and commitment to quality are evident in every aspect of their work. I highly recommend Jerry and his team to anyone seeking top-notch service.

They returned my card as good as new after accident. I could not tell a difference in the paint. During the repair they must have accidentally scratched my backup camera, which I didn't notice until I returned home. They owned up to it--no questions asked--ordered a replacement and repaired it today while I waited. Jerry, Kari and Jay are honest and polite--outstanding customer service experience.

Want to give a shout out to the nice folks at Long Body Shop here in Chattanooga. Jay, Jerry, Carrie, and the guys in the shop. Real deal customer service! Our company car had one door handle that needed re-installed after it was wrapped. I stopped by to see if they could help, or give any advice at all. They went above and beyond. Their team took care of it quickly and didn’t even charge. Totally unexpected! Thank you all very much for helping!

75 days and counting on a job body shop said would take less than 30. Truck is still not complete and nobody seems to be able to communicate. Inept at looking at a vehicle and ordering correct parts. Will look at you while you talk and not be able to remember a SINGLE thing you tell them. Worst experience ever.

This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a body shop. When I picked up my car the skid pan underneath the car was dragging the ground. As I discovered that, I also noticed that my wheel has been extremely damaged and the tire had a golf ball sized chunk taken out of it to the point that the car was unsafe to drive. I left and had to buy a tire from the dealership next door. The leather seats are covered in grease and grime in all parts of the car. The window they "repaired" screeches when you roll it up and down. I asked the service manager about the tire and wheel. He said there was no possibility that that happened on their site. There was nothing that they could've hit that would have caused that (like an automotive lift or curb)and he was not paying for a tire or wheel. Nothing they could have done to cause the skid pan to drag the ground and a hole in my tire. It wasn't his problem even there were pictures of the tire and wheel prior to the "repair". He said they were too blurry but they were conveniently the picture from the insurance company. After they would not address these problems, I figured it would be a waste of time to ask them to at least clean up the mess they left on my seats. Never again would I do business with this company.

I trusted The Auto Body Shop at Long because they were recommended by my local Subaru dealership, but I deeply regret that decision. From start to finish, my experience with this shop was frustrating, disappointing, and filled with false promises. I brought my car in after backing into a dumpster, causing significant damage to my bumper that affected my tire and extended past the side panel. I also disclosed the pre-existing damage to them upfront. They assured me they were familiar with handling insurance claims involving existing damage and even stated they would advocate for me with Liberty Mutual. That turned out to be nothing more than a bait-and-switch tactic. Not only did they fail to stand up for me, but their communication was also abysmal. I had to physically go to their shop to see what they had submitted to the insurance company, only to find out they had provided the bare minimum documentation. This led to a chaotic resubmission process, leaving me stuck in the middle between them and my insurance company. It was exhausting and entirely avoidable had they followed through on their initial assurances. When I asked for clarification, they backtracked and claimed they didn’t have the evidence to support my claims, despite initially agreeing the new damage had worsened the existing damage. It was infuriating and felt like gaslighting. To add insult to injury, when I asked for an out-of-pocket quote to avoid filing a second claim, they quoted me $788. Then, out of nowhere, that quote jumped to $1,100—yet another bait-and-switch. If you want to feel helpless, ignored, and stuck playing mediator between an uncooperative auto body shop and your insurance company, then by all means, bring your car here. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This shop failed me in every way possible, and I would never recommend them to anyone. I do think Jerry was nice and had a good personality but I still felt called to share my experience overall.

This has been a nightmare of an experience. Things started off with no communication and steadily grew worse. After keeping my car over a week longer than agreed upon, and frankly I'm positive it would still be there if my husband and I both didn't call everyday and stay on them about it. We received our car back with scratches in the paint that was supposed to be freshly done. When we told Jon about it he tried every attempt to say it wasn't thier fault, but thankfully we had photos to back up our word. I have NEVER had to deal with anyone like this professionally before. Both my husband and I were lied to about what was going on and why it was taking so long to repair numerous times. And listened to excuse after excuse. Our left unlocked even when we were told it wasn't being worked on and moved around often, but having the car in valet mode spoke a different story. I'm not a mechanic by trade but it feels super sketch to me that the "driving test" needed for our car to be pushed to 60 in a quarter mile when it was put in to have a new trunk installed after a minor accident. Honestly this whole experience has left us feeling dirty. You guys, we made a really bad choice thinking that because The Body shop was owned by a dealership it would be a reliable, safe choice for repairs and boy were we wrong. Please use a different shop for your repairs and ask your insurance reps for another location if they say this is were they are sending your vehicle. We all pay too much for our cars to be treated with lies and as if we don't matter. And that is just what this place does.

My 2019 sunshine orange Subaru CrossTrek was sent to Long Body Shop for some warranty paint work on the hood. They did an outstanding job and you cannot even tell that any paint job was done! It was flawless! I highly recommend this body shop! I will return here if I ever need any other service! They were very professional, car was returned when it was promised, and they went above and beyond! I am one happy customer!

One thing I will say is that I am happy with the work that was performed on my vehicle and the staff I dealt with were pleasant. My only drawback is that I felt there were more people in my truck than it needed to be or a single person in more area of the interior than they needed to be. I keep my truck extremely clean and I had to scrub both floor mats after I picked it up. There was also some dirt on the rear passenger seat. My satellite radio was on a channel I never listen to and there seemed to be an abundance of gravel in my tires.

Submitted a request online for a drop off date for my car to be repaired. This place was suggested by progressive. The day before I was supposed to drop it off, I haven’t heard anything so I called to verify. No one could tell me anything and kept sending me to who could, and only got this persons voicemail. Day came, no phone call, no message. Absolutely nothing about my car. They didn’t want my business that bad. And frankly I’m glad these unprofessionals aren’t working on my $60,000 vehicle.

I had to return the car for rework after the original repair. They installed used headlights without consent. Did not refill the reservoir with coolant after changing the radiator. The hood wasn't properly aligned, fender trim retainers broken, stuff in the paint, my cabin air filter cover was in the passenger floor board when I dropped it off and is now gone. Im guessing they tossed it when vacuuming. They did not replace it after doing the the rework or even offer too. I had a code scanner im pretty sure was in the back of the car and now I can't find it anywhere. When picking it up today the inner fender retainers were missing and they fixed those before I left. My seat cover was also pulled up over the headrest for some reason and when i pulled it down to reinstall it the strap that holds it in place was ripped off so now it's trash.I didn't even say anything about it because I was to pissed off. We went shopping after and when we came out saw a peice of 2000 grit sand paper between the hood and the windshield wipers they had left and I'm guessing the white splatter is from them reworking the hood. The overall repairs don't look bad but definitely no care or attention to detail was given. I haven't even looked any further at the car today because I'm tired of being angry and disappointed at this point. I will never use them again and do not recommend them to anyone.
