I booked an appointment for today, at 12.00 pm, confirmed by phone, by email and by sms. As soon as I arrived They told me to come back at 2pm (two hours after my appointment and I live 30 minutes from the shop) I came back at 2pm and I still had someone before me. I finally was out at 4.15 pm. All this time wasted just for an oil change. Absolutely unprofessional!

BEWARE THE PRICING & MISDIAGNOSIS. We drove down from NY and had a noise from left rear of the vehicle sounding almost like a flat spot on the rear tire. After our prior trustworthy mechanics at Tuffys was bought our by Mavis thats always looking to sell you something you dont need I came across highly rated The Garage Auto & Tire on Collier Blvd. Guy at the desk took my info at 8am gave it to a mechanic that took it for a test ride, came back he talked to another mechanic about it, he took it for a test ride, came back and they kept looking over all the tires. I finally left after an hour and waited to here from them about what my noise in left rear was. At noon i called and they said it was left cv axle and he was trying his 3rd supplier for the part but it would be ready by the end of the day. I had to pay over the phone $374.54 for a used cv axle ,$29.99 for shop parts??, and $239.92 for labor grand total of $689.57 (Auto Zone sells brand new cv axle for $170.00). As soon as i picked up my vehicle after hours i immediately felt the same problem leaving the parking lot so i brought the car back to The Garage in the morning and left it. I called ken? at 8:30 and said after spending all that money i still have the noise. He said yes, they realized that as they test drove it and what it needs is a left rear wheel bearing. I asked why didnt you call so i didnt drive it home, he didnt have an answer. He said he feels terrible but they can do wheel bearing in 30-45 minutes and he’d split the $400 cost with me. At this point i was kind of helpless. When i went to get my car he said it will be $700 + and i said you told me it was $400 and you’d pay half. After i caught him on that he did get my price for bearing and install down to $230. Checking with my mechanic up north he said theNEW not Used left cv axel replaced would be around $340 and the rear bearing NEW installed about $150. Such a shame after reading such great reviews about The Garage. Maybe the owner will call and offer to refund half of these excessive charges? Anyway , just giving y’all a heads up to get a 2nd opinion

Rocky's Auto & Tire Center was very polite. Rocky himself drove me home so i wouldn't have to stay there all day. My minivan started to overheat Monday evening Dec. 14 2020 i took it to Rocky's shop before 7am and waited patiently for him and his crew to arrive. The whole process was very good. I was confident they would do a great job and they did. The shop is close to my work so if i do have any other issues i will definitely take my minivan to Rocky's Auto & Tire Center again!

These guys really are fantastic, I'm so happy to have found a solid, HONEST garage. I usually do all my own work, but recently moved down to Naples (love it!) and don't have access to my friends lift and kegorator ;) I'm too old and fat to be crawling under cars lol. The first time I came in I thought I had a transmission issue. Turns out it was my imagination. Owner Mike sent me on my way at no charge. Came back last week for a 4 wheel alignment. $90 bucks with no extras. Steering is perfect and they finished earlier than promised. I realize it's hard to know who to trust. Being a woman has not been easy when going for auto repair. I know nothing about automobiles. Rocky treats everyone the same. He does a tremendous job and does not do unnecessary work. My last car had 185,000 miles and never had a breakdown. Just took it to Rocky and told him I was going on a trip and we were never disappointed. Very reasonable pricing compared to dealers. I would highly recommend Rocky's on Collier Blvd in Golden Gate. 1/15/2020 - Update - Took my car in again yesterday for the yearly checkup. After going to Honda for a service bulletin issue, decided I was not paying what they wanted for everything they found that was wrong with the car. Have been going to Rocky's for years and have never been disappointed. Thanks again Rocky for a job well done.

Took my car to have one oxygen sensor replaced. They said they could do it & to bring it in. They didn’t even have the part & had to have someone bring it. What should have been a quick easy fix took them 3 hours AND the sensor they put in my car was NOT the correct one. I had to go to another shop with competent people to do the job correctly. Going here was a complete waste of my time & money. A buncha crooks. EDIT: In response to the owners response, I was a customer. I have my receipt!

We brought our daughter's vehicle in for what we thought was an issue with the brake pads. Upon inspecting the pads, the mechanic, Mike, informed us that a few minor adjustments needed to be made but that the brake pads were still in good condition and did not need to be replaced. He could have easily replaced those pads, and charged us accordingly, and we never would have known the difference. Instead of taking advantage of us, they were honest and fair, and we got our vehicle back in a reasonable amount of time. We have brought our vehicles in for general maintenance and upkeep on a couple of occasions and have always been pleased with the results. Based on our experiences, the staff at The Garage are respectful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. What a great local business!

I was amazed by how helpful everyone was. I had a line bust wide open while i was on Interstate 75 and i was losing my oil for about 40 miles away. While on road we called this place and they said they would take us in. I finally made it to the shop with no oil left in the car, they immediately pulled my car in and went to work. They replaced the part with a more sturdier metal line.They were honest about everything and they showed me first hand what the issue was. I was visiting family in Fort Myers area. I drove back to Virginia from Florida and haven’t had an issue with my car since.

The Garage is nothing short of outstanding! We've had a couple of our vehicles checked out here, but the best experience has been with our Sequoia. They charged the AC system last summer, so when we recently noticed it wasn't blowing as cold, we brought it back to The Garage. They thoroughly tested the system, and found that it was low on refrigerant, but since no leak was detected, they attributed the issue to a subpar valve, so replaced them at no cost. They stand behind their work! Friendly techs, and they always have time to explain their findings.

Started off great, but I wouldn’t recommend them. I had my A/C compressor replaced in my work van. Three months later, right in August, the A/C completely stopped working. No air at all. When I stopped by, I was told the previous manager didn’t install all the required parts and that I’d need to spend another $1,000 to fix it. On top of that, they said my new compressor wasn’t under warranty,and wouldn’t be unless I paid for the parts they failed to replace. So essentially, $1,400 down the drain with a non-working A/C. To make matters worse, after the compressor install, they suddenly claimed I needed new wiring, saying the belt hit the electrical system. That repair cost me $500 at Naples Auto Electric (great company, by the way). This explanation was incorrect, I personally cut the belt to the old compressor. Between the missing parts, the lack of accountability, and the incorrect diagnosis, the whole situation felt sketchy. Neither the owner nor the new manager was willing to come up with a reasonable solution or take responsibility for their negligence. It’s a shame, because I originally went there for minor maintenance and they did a good job. But if a shop makes a mistake, they should own it. That’s how you keep customers. There was zero urgency to fix an issue they caused. Proceed with caution.
