I had them install a emblem on my new 2016 F150 & they not only scratched up the truck but they also dented the tailgate in about 5 places. They did end up removing the dents but the fact that they put dents on the truck still troubles me. The guy named Travis is really good but the rest of those people in the shop I can't say the same for. Unless travis works on your vehicle be aware!!!

I went to get work done on my Camaro and the end results were phenomenal. Rudy and Alphonso did a great job installing a spoiler on my car. Will be going there in the future to get more car work done.

At first was impressed with web-site and thought that his work as advertised would be professional and great. I was completely wrong and fooled. I brought my Lexus to have a little paint job due to a prior accident. After 9-10 months the paint started to fade and his terrible workmanship started to show. Completely upset and dissatisfied.Don't go.. You will regret it...

They did a good job painting my door handle but the customer service could have been so much better. I was quoted $25 on the phone and after calling and calling and waiting 13 days for my replacement part to paint i just drive up there to get it painted or not to be told it would be $35 cuz the paint alone costed them $25. If painting a replacement part was beneath them they could have just said they don't do it.

I had two accidents where my top was cut... Rudy, ( I guess the Owner/Manager) handled the situation very professionally. He ordered the top and installed his team on both repair jobs. I was very pleased.... No complaints here.

The convertible top on my 2005 mercedes clk suddenly stropped working. I had two other estimates and each was uncertain what problem was but certain it would cost thousands. I was prepared to leave car at Kuztom shop for weeks and spend thousands. Rudy took a look at my car and diagnosed the problem in minutes. He had the part and repaired the car in 20 minutes for a few hundred dollars. What a difference when you work with someone who knows his stuff. Thanks again.

I had an issue with a convertible top replacement done in NJ. Rain rail wasn't replaced, when it should have, and it started leaking only a year later. I tried to fix it but after trying everything myself, and trying to find a shop that would, no one wanted to touch it. I called Kuztom and Rudy could not have been more helpful! He said he could fix it, and he did, when no one else wanted to even touch it! My 92 Miata will be returning for more "Kuztom" work and, I could not recommend Rudy and The Kuztom Shop more!!!

I’ve been looking to kustom for help with paint, leather, dent remediation, upgrades, etc for a decade. They’ve worked on 7 cars for me in that time, ranging from high end new cars (tint, ceramic coating, etc) to refurbishing my sons’ pickups. The work is always to exacting standards. Its the only body shop i will use. Quality matters. Integrity matters.

Don't bring your car there I did Feb. 2023 to replace my convertible top . The work was do very well on the roof BUT my cars transmission was damaged and over $600 to fix it. After his workers when for a joy ride in it. Rudy refused to pay for the repairs . It took me 14 months in small claims court to collect my repair money. Owners of classic cars stay away his workers have a lot to be desire on taking car of customers cars.

I can't believe people have had good service from this outfit. I have had the worst, the worse of anyone I have ever dealt with in my life. They have had my car for over 2.5 years and I cannot get them to answer my texts or emails. I have no other solution but to take them to court. Never recommend this company . Rudy comes on like he's a good guy , which I believed , but he has done nothing to solve and finish my car.

Working with Rudy at the Kuztom Shop was truly an amazing experience. I needed a new interior as well as bodywork and paint to my 1988 FJ62. It was a very well used/worn out vehicle before going in to the Kuztom Shop. Rudy guided me along the way helping me make decisions that ultimately were exactly what the truck needed. It came out looking better than it did rolling off the assembly line 30 years ago. Everyone compliments the truck wherever I go and it's truly a dream vehicle. The quality of work that Rudy and his team do is top notch. You definitely get what you pay for and Rudy delivered on this project. I would recommend the Kuztom Shop to anyone looking for interior or exterior work, they are first class and Rudy is truly a kind business man as well as artist.

DO NOT USE RUDY or ANYONE at this shop!!! This process with him has been an absolute nightmare. We dropped off a car in mid-2024, with a promise it would be done in 2-3 months. Not only did he not complete the work, we have called Rudy and his shop for the past six months and he WILL NOT call us back, nor let us pick up the car and he's never at the shop.

I have a 2011 370z Roadster in excellent condition however the top stopped working on it. Nissan had no idea how to fix it. The Nissan dealership told me they did not have the expertise to fix it. They gave me a quote for over 21K to replace the top. I was ready to just sell it. Someone recommended Rudy Fernandez to us. I’d contacted Rudy by phone who pretty much told me exactly what the problem was over the phone and told me to bring it in. He had it fixed the next day. He didn’t even need to purchase parts. Rudy knows more about how these tops work than the Nissan Dealership. I found him to be professional, honest, patient and just simply amazing. I will cross states to see him if I ever have any other issues with this vehicle. I highly recommend him. His prices are incredible. After the vehicle was repaired I took my vehicle back to the Nissan dealership and gave them a few of Rudy’s business cards.

We had Kuztom Shop replace the old tan cloth top on our 2008 Corvette with a black one. They did a great job! The car looks awesome! The level of customer service was outstanding! Rudy runs a great shop and provides great customer service. Once the top came in they had it installed in 1 day, Rudy personally worked on the car and walked us through the whole process start to finish. I would highly recommend Kuztom Shop for the next top!!!

Over a year ago I left a rave review for this shop and now I see just how fooled I was by shop owner, Rudy Fernandez. I paid over $5600 for a new convertible top on my 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLK and a week after it was put on I began to see signs that there was a problem. In short, for the last 12 months I have been trying to get Rudy to fix the leaks that I never had before. I've owned three of these cars and never had an issue with water coming in. . Whatever he says he has done has just been a lie. He's very hard to get in touch with… basically IMPOSSIBLE. Frequently he's not there when you arrive to drop a car off, and rarely ever responds via text. His voicemail is always conveniently full and I've never spoken to someone by using the office phone number. I've tried so many times to explain to Rudy that I wasn't asking for anything extra, I just wanted some common decency and DO WHAT YOU WERE PAID TO DO! At first he was very good about telling me that he guaranteed his work. Apparently that's just a lie. He has given me nothing but lip service in the last year and I can't believe a single word he says. I dropped my car with him June 2, 2025 - ( 10mo after his "professional repair") for him to finally once and for all use a @ "sealant" around the convertible top so I would have no leaks. He told me it would take 2 days for this material to "set". 21 DAYS LATER, I had to threaten to bring a roll back to come pick up my car, whether it was fixed or not. He's absolutely horrible about getting in touch with you, doesn't do anything but he says he will do. Makes promises to contact you and on that day you never can be found . My car had NO ACTIVE LEAKS when I dropped it off August 2024.. Now every time it rains my carpet is saturated and water is on my seats! I don't know how he stays open. How do you tell a customer you're going to keep their car for two days and then three weeks later you still haven't contacted them!? Rudy knew this was my only car and I needed it. This situation is going to end up in a lawsuit and I've already contacted an attorney. DON'T be fooled by the surface charm he will exude when you first meet him. You absolutely have no idea what will happen with your vehicle or when you will hear from him once you drop it off. Just a SCAMMING THIEF!

Wonderful experience here. Rudy has serviced both my cars and has done an outstanding job. Not only was he able to diagnose and fix the hard top on my SLK 55 convertible (which is super hard to find someone to work on with knowledege of these tops) but he was also able to do maintenance on my SUV. Wonderful turn around time and great staff. Super friendly and the communication is second to none. I wait to leave reviews and it has been almost a year since Rudy fixed the top of the convertible. Still enjoying the top down to this day. Will definitely be back for future maintenance needs. Thanks Rudy and the team! :)
