Trackside was a lifesaver. I needed urgent repair on my Honda Civic muffler on a holiday weekend when a lot of other shops were closed. They took me right away, had the parts easily accessible, showed me everything they were going to do, and did an excellent job. They were friendly, approachable, and easy to work with.

I'm sure there have been circumstances where Trackside Auto Repair delivered flawless customer service and really did a great job, but they did not provide that to me and I won't be going back. I told them that I thought the antenna ring had gone bad, meaning the antitheft system was not reading the chip in my key (and spare key). They were pretty insistent that it was the starter. Spoiler alert: it wasn't. I wound up taking the car elsewhere for the work. Why? Because the people at Trackside do not call back. Ever. They held my car for a week and not one single time did they call me. I kept having to call them over and over and over and over again to get updates on my car that, again, they kept for a week. They may be able to deliver good customer service to you, but I will tell you with a great deal of certainty that taking your vehicle to this auto shop is a roll of the dice.

Trackside Auto is the best hands down. The owner cared for my vehicle as if it were his own. With my family's safety being the number 1 priority, Trackside's attention to detail and professionalism lead me to learn that this shop is the only one for me. Rick and his crew diagnosed my car and ended up replacing the turbo in it. I also had a special situation going on where payment was being disbursed from a program and they were able to work with that. I had called many other shops that weren't very nice and couldn't seem to help since I was going through a program but this shop was able to take me. I was so grateful to have found this place! It has a very local feel to it and it was nice to know I helped contribute to a shop around town instead of some large chain. You won't regret coming here. Also, there's a pretty cute little dog in office. :)

Amazing first time experience! I called all around to get my BMW headlights fixed. Not only did every other place quote me over double what Trackside charged me, they also said they would have to order the part and it would be a couple of days! Not at Trackside Auto! They gave me such a fair and generous quote on the fix and not only that, they drove and got the part for me and had it done within 30 minutes!!! I felt the honesty and care from them and they now have a life long customer. I feel safe with my vehicle in their hands! Thank you Trackside Auto! Rick was amazingly helpful in his attention to my vehicle. I have recommended this service to all. I’ll be baaaaack. (As needed). If you own any type of vehicle, in particular, a Volvo, do yourself a favor and have your repairs done at Trackside Auto. Rick and his team of mechanics have serviced my 2002 S60 with care and reasonable pricing. Plus. The shop is amazing! A veritable treasure trove of Volvo memorabilia! Look around the yard and marvel. Inside, you’ll find incredible art of the 1960s, not to mention the ever present and brilliant Rick. His knowledge of these beautiful cars is beyond the pale. He will stand up for you and provide pricing that suits your needs. I could not be happier with a Eugene engine repair service for my own vehicle. This expertise is few and far between. I meant to write this awhile ago. Best service I've ever had at any repair shop. I had been chasing an issue for months before I finally gave up when my car went into limp mode. The problems were all caused by a single part that I didn't have the equipment to diagnose. My car eventually threw a transmission code and had fuel issues among other things. All caused by 1 part. These guys could have taken advantage of this and charged me for things that weren't wrong like other shops can and have tried to do before to myself and other people. But they didn't. Rick and his team are honest and know what they are doing. I would highly recommend this shop for anything that you have issues with. Big or small, electronic or mechanical.

DONT TRUST THIS SHOP,RICK HAS NO INTEGRITY !! FIXED MY TRUCK AND 1 WEEK AND 3DAYS LATER WHAT THEY FIXED WHENT OUT AGAIN ,NOW TELLING ME ITS SOMETHING ELSE WRONG, WONT GUVE BACK MY MONEY AND IS JUST A MEAN RUDE PERSON WITH ZERO INTEGRITY !! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE…. I hate to slam a local owned business but after having to take my car to another shop and pay for the same repairs for the same parts on my car twice i have no problem in saying go somewhere else. They kept my car for 8 months multiple thousands of dollars and when i get my car back i end up towing it to another shop in town boom one week fixed and had to pay again for the same parts and repairs… pretty sad shop they don’t know what they not know what they are doing here period….
