PROCEED WITH THIS PLACE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! BE READY TO HAVE YOUR VEHICLE DAMAGED AND TOLD THEY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANYTHING THEY CAUSE!! Long story short, they removed the engine splash guards & skid plate for the oil change and never put them back on, essentially stealing 2 parts of the vehicles engine bay protection that left the engine fully exposed from the bottom resulting in nearly $700 in damages and added repair costs after the fact!! Spoke with corporate, filed a claim, and the area manager wouldn't even speak with me and had the store manager call me to relay the message that they will not do anything at all to make it right stating that they're simply not liable for the damages. How can you remove parts of of someone's vehicle, not put them back, and state you aren't liable??? READ OTHER REVIEWS AND YOU WILL SEE THESE TYPES OF ISSUES ARE PERSISTENT AT THIS LOCATION!!

After reading the reviews of how clueless these people are I would never go there Glad I read the reviews first. I experienced the same thing out of Valvoline before cost me $1,000 to get my car fixed after they said they did not know what it was. Took my car in and it was fine after I left cost me $1,000 to get it fixed I will never go back to Valvoline again

It was bad experience on my important day. I did oil change and coolant fluid change.. after refill the mechanic forgot to close the radiator lid and no one aware of it. Next day when I was driving with my whole family (2 kids 2,4 years old) around noon my favorite car got stuck in middle of the road.. when I open the hood, I noticed lid was not closed and fluid was spill over the engine and I almost lost my car.. later I got service from manager but it all took around noon for 3 hrs(super hot day in south Florida).. it was really bad experience I ever faced.. later my car got service engine soon indicator on.. so I end up servicing my radiator.. it is small mistake, it almost risk my car and family..

Do not get a battery from this location the process for getting a new battery is insane. I was up here when the store open at 7:30. I have to leave by 7:55 prior obligations. I called prior to coming to the store to have the battery replaced when I call I was told I just needed to bring the battery in and that was fine upon arriving. I learned that it could take hours to get the battery replaced because the store has to call the general manager who has to get approval from another manager in order to put the code in for the new battery. This process should be streamlined a lot better especially if a person called prior to coming in. No one has hours to wait to have a battery that is under warranty replaced. I’m already upset because my battery did not last as long as it should have and now I have to wait hours just to have it replaced under the warranty put in place by the store. In addition to this, when I arrived to the store, I was met with an aggressive associate who waved for everyone to come into the bays but apparently, I was not one of the people that was supposed to come in. I did not know this because there was no real process to it. I was halted and embarrassed to stop.

I've been here on many occasions for oil changes. Dude flat out lied about putting air in my tire, not one but two times! And they removed pins from my shield which made a flapping sound when I drove. They claimed they didn't but they were the only ones who had been servicing my car. So they fixed it, no more flapping noise. Why lie about simple things, geesh. They have lost a customer for sure!

Absolutely unacceptable service at Valvoline. I watched them pour Advance Auto brand oil into my Mercedes and slap on a cheap Fram filter instead of using the proper Mobil 1 European formula. When I checked the dipstick, the “new” oil was actually dirtier than what came out of my car. I had to make them drain it all out and put in the correct oil myself, which should never happen at a place that charges premium prices. To make matters worse, the manager didn’t care about the bad work or the risk they caused to my engine. Dishonest, careless, and unprofessional — I will never return and strongly warn others to stay away. Then they had the audacity to try to upsale other services. PLEASE Stay away.

Went on an early Sunday afternoon for an oil change. It wasn't too busy and I was able to pull into the bay almost immediately. What should have been a quick oil change turned into a 40 minute wait. I ended up sitting in my car for 30 minutes waiting for someone to come back and put the new oil in the engine. I also have a K&N air filter but the ' tech' found it necessary to open the air box, even with the sticker clearly visible that it is a reusable filter. I checked the oil a few days later, and it was half a quart low. Probably because they poured it from a container rather than the dispenser hose. Paid almost $100 with the coupon for a full synthetic oil change. I doubt the oil was synthetic.

I had planned to go next week for an oil change; however, my battery died earlier today. I got it jumped but knew I needed a new one. The staff greets all customers as they arrive. He got my VIN # and checked to verify if they had a new battery. After changing my oil, they replaced the battery and cleaned the posts and make sure my car would start before charging me. Then they had me let it run a bit before I left. I greatly appreciated how coordinated all the staff was and how the staff ensured the new battery would work. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH. The staff also thoroughly explained Valvoline’s warranty on car batteries.

We brought our truck and we got service very quickly. They gave us a paper and broke down the prices of each service as well as the amount of time they would take! We ended up getting the rear differential fluid changed, and air filter as well as an oil change. Friendly and quick service. Will come back again. We had our oil changed and radiator flushed here. They refilled the radiator with windshield wiper fluid and not coolant. We didn’t noticed until the next day. When we returned with the car they refused to do fix the problem. They wanted us to take it to a full service mechanic and have it tested. The manager then told us to save all receipts. After asking to speak to the next manager up and told no the manager on site called him and Came back to us and said that they would redo the car, but the heater may not work. There was zero compensation zero understanding Absolutely nothing we had to argue with them to have the vehicle redone. At first, we just asked for the money back and they refused to do that then they come back with well they’ll redo it.

I would NOT recommend the Valvoline Riverview location. During our visit, they damaged our vehicle and refused to take any accountability. We came in for a routine oil change and tire rotation on our SUV this past Sunday. Three tires were completed without issue, but on the last tire we heard loud, abnormal noises while they were working on it. It clearly didn’t sound right. They ended up forcing the tire off and stripped the lug nut studs to the point they couldn’t even get one of the lug nuts back on. Multiple employees kept coming over to look at the wheel, yet no one communicated with us about what was happening. After over 40 minutes, we were finally told something was wrong and were sent to Mavis for repairs with one lug nut in our hand the could not get back on the tire. If they were able to get it on the tire I don't believe we would have been informed at all. At Mavis, they replaced TWO broken lug nut studs and told us they OFTEN get customers sent over from this same Valvoline location for the same problem— which is very concerning. It tells me Valvoline is the PROBLEM. We contacted the area manager with our $135 repair bill and were told they would not reimburse or refund anything. They only acknowledged one damaged stud at first, even though two were broken. Our vehicle had zero issues before service, and we literally heard the damage happen while they worked on it. I wouldn't be upset if they just took accountability for their mistake. I have lost all their trust. They were quick to suggest the damage may have already existed, but if that were the case, why did we hear the stripping noise while they were working on it? And why did they wait so long to tell us there was a problem? The area manager also stated they would force the tire off to complete the service; however, if a tire is not coming off properly, it should not be forced—especially if they cannot fix the resulting damage. They should have simply stated they were unable to complete the service due to the issue with the tire. We would have been far less concerned if that had been done. What should have been a simple oil change and tire rotation turned into a $240+ expense because of their mistake, and they refused to take any accountability. If they can’t perform tire rotations without damaging vehicles, they shouldn’t be offering the service. Customer beware — if something breaks while they’re working on your car, don’t expect them to make it right.

Came here for a quick oil change. I always liked the ease of their service. After the oil change I noticed smoke a lot of smoke. So I brought it back to the store to have it checked. The gasket on the oil filter was improperly seated and the car was leaking oil. Mathew took care of us and addressed the problem ensuring no further issues. He was polite and informative to every step of the process. He made a bad experience a positive one. I drive a luxury car and he was very knowledgeable about the cars needs.
