I have been a loyal customer at Van Chevrolet for several years. However, my recent visit to your dealership has left me extremely disappointed, prompting me to bring a serious matter to your attention. During my most recent service visit, I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Service Consultant Eric Sterling. I regret to inform you that his conduct was far from satisfactory. Mr. Sterling exhibited a high level of arrogance, was unhelpful, dismissive, and, in our interaction, he not only demonstrated a lack of courtesy but also made derogatory remarks. To add to my dismay, he abruptly ended our conversation by stating he didn't have time to deal with my concerns. As a customer who spent $6300 on the service of my vehicle, I expected a much higher standard of customer service. Mr. Sterling's behavior not only fell short of these expectations but also left me feeling thoroughly disheartened with the overall service. Regrettably, I am contemplating making this my final visit to Van Chevrolet. I believe it is crucial for you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against Mr. Sterling for his unprofessional conduct. Such behavior is unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of your dealership. I sincerely hope that you treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and take the necessary steps to rectify this situation. I trust that you will conduct a fair investigation and implement corrective measures to ensure that customers are not subjected to such disrespectful treatment in the future.

I can't even give them half a star. My daughter came here to buy a car and she is young and doesn't have much experience. I was working and couldn't go with her. Needless to say she was taken advantage of. The experience with this place has been nothing short of a nightmare. My daughter now has a car loan and late pymts on her credit for a car she NEVER received! They have told her for months that they canceled the contract but Nope every time we call the lender they state they have never received a cancellation. She has not been able to buy a car anywhere else because of the car loan and they forged her signature on a document to reinstate a loan on her trade in. They also kept the registration for her vehicle and she requested it back countless times. The smugness and unprofessionalism of the employees are unmatched.

3/14/23 update. The Van response to this review is the same canned response they seem to give every negative review. They put the responsibility on the unhappy customer to follow up.********* The worst service experience I've ever had. Follow-up was non-existent. Even when I reached out asking for an update. Took mechanic 3 months to "figure out" what was wrong with my car. Then they ordered the wrong part. Got the correct part after 2 months & it did not fix the car. Waited 7 months for the part that finally fixed the car. Total repair was almost $3500. Total time my car wasn't working, 9 months. No loaner car, no help with a rental. I spent hundreds on rentals & then had to spend money on another car. When I got my car back it was filthy, the passenger door was chipped & it smelled awful inside. I will never do business with Chevy or GM again. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

Horrible service department. Have a new truck under warranty needing a motor mount replacement. They tell me part isn’t in stock and we don’t know when it will be. I ask for a loaner or rental “sorry none available”. Going on 3 weeks, I ask for updates and when they do text back which is random and usually days later, it’s “I’ll look into it” and no response. You would think a dealer service department that averages 2 stars would want to try harder and turn the tides for more customer satisfaction, but this dealer honestly doesn’t care. I’m DONE with this dealer and done with Chevy. New diesel truck and it’s seen the service department more than my garage.

Horrendous service. Van had my truck for 6 days and my service advisor Rick ignored all the concerns of things I wanted fixed. They didn’t do a thing but a simple recall I couldn’t have cared less about. I asked several times if he could call me to discuss all the other things I had mentioned and he never did. Kept promising he would call and never did. He claimed he had 45 other customers to tend too. Fed up, I needed to pick my truck up after hours and they promised they would park it out front for me. I got to the dealership and my truck was nowhere to be found. Walked around the entire property for an hour. Where was my vehicle? Did they take it home? This dealership is corrupt and customer service is horrendous.

Dropped my truck off to take care of some warranty issues. A/C not blowing cold being the most urgent. The first attempt at getting it fixed was unsuccessful. Maybe one of the mechanics was having a bad day or he/she was over booked. It seemed like whoever was tasked with fixing a/c. Wasn't up for the task. all dealers are swamped with service it seems. So I'm sure the mechanic was trying to diagnos asap and get it back to me. Long story short... I received my truck back. Next day, A/C blowing warm again! Very frustrating! However, I will not fault an entire service department for one bad mistake. After calling and explaining to them it was still blowing warm. It seemed like all hands on deck. All the service guys were top notch. Great customer service and communication. The A/C compressor was ordered and installed. Truck was back within 2 days. That's a pretty quick turn around. Everyone was super helpful, friendly, and respectful. I would highly recommend coming here for service. Just know, wherever you go. Mistakes do happen and sometimes won't be fixed for weeks. In and out here in 2 days. One thing I'd note to help provide better service. Get more loaner trucks lol.

I never bring my car to a stealership because I always know it's a cluster and they'll do whatever they can to rip you off and because this was a warranty issue we had no choice... we brought our Corvette in for a drivetrain issue that clearly should have been under warranty. We were told it wasn't and tried to charge us almost $8,000 to have it fixed. One phone call later to General Motors giving them the VIN number and it was clearly under warranty. A call to the dealership now all the sudden it was under warranty but they would have gladly taken our $8,000. They had a car for 2 weeks we had to bring it back three times because all the warning lights were on because they don't know how to plug the sensors back in cost us 400 plus dollars in Uber rides. That of course we weren't compensated for. Our service advisor had no idea what was going on. Fast forward one year my brand new Silverado with 11,000 miles on it was leaking in the CV joint.. clearly another warranty issue the vehicle is taking the three other shops all three told me to take the vehicle back to the dealership because it's a warranty ... How to take another day off work to handle this vehicle and they told me that because I have a leveling kit on it that's what caused the CV joint to leak. Which is 100% in accurate. It has nothing to do with it they just wanted to not warranty it. And on top of that they tried to charge me $200 for the 7 minutes it took them to pull the truck back and look at it real quick. I refuse to pay they told me they couldn't be my service advisor anymore and I laughed because their service department is a joke. Moral the story is don't ever take your vehicle to a dealership for anything. Get it fixed at a legitimate shop. And if you truly do have a warranty issue that has to be addressed by dealer take it somewhere else

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Had a recall software update they said was completed. Called for the paperwork and said they would email it. They never did even after I asked the service advisor again for it. Took my car to Courtesy Chevy, they told me you have a software recall that needs to be completed. Van Chevy are criminals.

Would have been a 5 star review had John not left van chevrolet service department. That said, I would have given a 1 star for the service I receive now that he’s gone. John hale was the heart and soul of the department. I have never in my life ever felt so well taken care of that I knew, confidently, without question, that I was going to have everything I brought my vehicle in for would be taken care of. John went above and beyond each and every time I made the trip out from Queen creek to Scottsdale, he made sure I dealt like I was not just another number or another customer, but family. I can not express enough how grateful I was for having John as my go to for all of my service needs. John was the difference and what made van service department stand out and out perform the rest over any in the nation and worth all the while to drive an hour across town to have a friendly familiar face welcome you and assure you that you will receive 110% of effort to making sure that you’re a customer that matters and will be taken care of. I have since been back for work on my vehicle and I realize that the warm fuzzy feeling I used to have is no longer there, I am now just another customer and a repair ticket in a stack of papers. If I’m going to get sub par service and have to make calls to warranty companies directly rather than the ones getting paid to make the calls, I’ll take it to a service center closer to home that I know gives the same sub par service. I think John Hale should be an icon for all service advisors at all service centers, can not stress enough the appreciation for his extraordinary attentiveness to his customers.

Four days after buying my 2011 Corvette, I received a “Service Electrical System” message. So, regretfully, I dropped off my new car at the dealership where they held onto it for two weeks. After the long wait, they produced … wait for it … a left headlight replacement! Not even five minutes after leaving, the same message came up. I also noticed that my gasoline tank was completely drained with the gauge resting on “E.” So, I decided to take my car back to the dealership. After two more weeks with no update, I begin to suspect that the dealership may be taking my car for a joyride. I demanded to see the odometer and gas tank level while it was there at the shop, but they refused. Since this service is “part of the vehicle sale,” I apparently have no jurisdiction over the car I am paying for? They literally kicked me out. I may have just patiently waited longer, but they promised me an update on the “diagnostic” today (28 days later), which they forgot about or did not bother to follow-up on. … (update: it’s been more than 40 days with my car in service)

Horrible customer service. They will do anything they can to get you to pay for fixed and claim your warranty doesn’t cover it. Rick: Will ignore your calls and voicemails. Don’t even bother. If you get Rick expect to have a hard time getting in touch with him. Kurt: Will be watching TikTok at his desk while you wait in your car to drop off your vehicle, and when you go inside because you’re tired of waiting he’ll give you an attitude. Ben: Will call and leave you voicemails talking crap and harass you for the fun of it. Get to work and stop harassing customers because you’re in a bad mood. The people working in the service department don’t know what they’re doing. Trust the reviews on this place and take your car somewhere else.

Service at VC has become very poor as they simply don't care anymore. After several weeks (only updates were if we called) escalated to the service manager. Not acceptable and Never again. Great news is....You have a Choice. Now, we take our Corvette Stingray to Christian Brothers who was thrilled to have our business! We could not be happier with the CB excellent customer service, pro attention to detail (with photographs) and honest pricing.

Daughter In-Law purchased a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer R/S. Worst experience ever!! Their Service Dept rates as a Zero!! She took it in for service, tire rotation, alignment, brake system flush, informed them that the Blazer has a shutter, vibration between 25-55 mph, very obvious, asked for a quote to fix passenger side fog lamp, burned out. She left with no answer to the shutter/vibration issue, no mention of a recall check on transmission issue released by NSTA, quoted $597.00 to fix passenger side fog lamp. Fog light issue fixed in 30 minutes, bulb $60.00!! Future customers beware!!

Came here with an issue covered by warranty. Dropped off my car on a Monday and got it back Thursday. Tony was very communicative and made sure everything was taken care of timely. Very satisfied with the services received. Wait times are long however out of the service consultants' control. Be prepared to leave your car for a few days, unfortunately it will be the same situation no matter which Chevy dealer you go to. If you want to take care of an issue covered by warranty this is the easiest way to get it done.

I’ve purchased two vehicles from this dealership, but unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing. I recently called to give them another chance and asked what my Platinum coverage includes for my truck. The representative immediately told me 'oil changes only' without even looking up my account. When I asked if they needed my info to confirm, I was told they had 'worked there long enough' to not have to ask. This level of dismissiveness and rudeness is unacceptable. I’ll be taking my business and my service contracts elsewhere

Hundreds of dollars worth of gear was stolen out of my truck possibly by the lot attendants that bring your vehicle to and from the service building. After raising concern and asking help from management, I was told it was basically too late for them to investigate because it happened 2 weeks earlier. I went to this dealership since I purchased my truck from another GM dealership. Never had any issues until now. I would stay away from this place and go elsewhere if you value your belongings. It’s still my fault for sure for trusting their service and company with my vehicle and my personal belongings. I will no longer recommend or do service with these individuals anymore and recommend everyone else does the same. These people wont care until they actually lose money and that’s by customers finding business elsewhere.

I can’t say enough on how horrible this places’s service department is! I have had all kinds of issues including getting my car damaged while it was waiting to be serviced and then an extra week for getting the repair on the body. Then parts are never in and has to be ordered which takes weeks. Then they tell you it will done by certain time and day but it never is!! It is the most unorganized place. Their service guys say one thing but the technician do something else. I was promised the car will be ready in one day for one issue and I asked IF they have time to look at something else too. This was after 2nd time bringing the car and after a day, being told the part wasn’t even there! I called at 2:00 and they haven’t even looked at the main issue. The car was there since 7:00 am!!! I have promised myself not to ever return to this location. They haven’t even looked an excuse of being busy. Busy!!! By the way my car is a 2025 new Equinox that I have purchased from them!!! So many issues that I would never recommend this car to anyone. In conclusion: STAY AWAY from this location at any cost. Don’t buy the new equinox ev. Too many issues. GPS, sunroof leak, electric sound….etc. can’t wait to return the car to them in few months!
