AutoNation used truck can easily kill me and others! Been parked for 5 of the months I’ve owned it! There’s a reason the used truck I purchased from AutoNation Subaru Scottsdale in May 2025 has been sitting in the parking lot of my apartment complex since June…3 weeks after I purchased it. The suspension is in such poor condition, a certified mechanic informed me it could fail at any moment and isn’t roadworthy. If I were driving this truck at highway speeds when the suspension fails it could easily kill me, the occupants and others nearby. AutoNation’s response: a brief phone call where they pretended to care, requested a copy of the inspection report (which I sent) and no response since. Several advocacy groups have attempted to facilitate a resolution, all ignored. Total repairs required for the suspension and everything else is over $15,000! AutoNation claims “All of our used vehicles undergo a rigorous inspection process and come with a vehicle history report, so you can rest assured that the vehicle is Worry-Free!” I suppose “Worry-Free” means you’ll have no worries after our used vehicle kills you so it’s not false advertising! Do yourself, your family, friends and society a favor; don’t buy from AutoNation!

I've bought 15+ new cars over the years, I must tell you that the buying experience with Chris, sales mgr and Emilie was one of the most pleasant buying experiences to date. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends. We purchased a used Jeep and could not be happier.

We had a great experience with this dealership! Our sales rep, Jolan, was very helpful. She was not overly aggressive, was very communicative, and patient. She followed up just as we had discussed. Since we visited the dealership multiple times, Jolan stayed late and came in on her day off to help us out. The managers, Colton and Tracy, were very helpful in our decision process and helped make the numbers work for us. Chris in finance worked with us to ensure we were comfortable with warranty and financing options. Everyone we interacted with seemed to be truly genuine - don’t find that at most dealerships. Would definitely come back to this dealership in the future.

My family and I wanted to sincerely thank Andy—and the AutoNation Subaru team in Scottsdale—for the exceptional care, concern, and support you provided us. From our initial phone call through the moment we walked out of the dealership, your professionalism, guidance, and transparency were evident every step of the way. You took the time to help us navigate the entire process and ensured we ultimately drove away in the vehicle we truly needed. It’s rare to work with a salesperson who is genuinely focused on the customer’s best interests, and your integrity and approach stood out to all of us. We all had a very positive experience purchasing our vehicle last Sunday. This is a great dealership that should not be overlooked. Thank you AutonNation Subaru in Scottsdale!

I bought a 2026 Subaru Forester from Subaru Autonation in Scottsdale, AZ and am very happy I did. Andy Morales was very focused on understanding my needs and wants and was very patient and not pushy. He explained things clearly and followed up the next day. I feel I was given a very fair deal on both the new car and my trade-in. They were very willing to make a deal and open to counter offers. I have used their service area on my old car several times, mainly oil changes. No complaints other than longer wait times than necessary. I highly recommend this dealership.

Exceptional experience at Subaru Scottsdale! Sara the GM, Gary the GSM, Sophia the finance director, Jake my sales rep down to Jay & Trevor in parts, just professional friendly transparent service start to finish. They made leasing a New Outback for my college student daughter smooth and simple, couldn't ask for better service. If you are looking at a New or pre-owned vehicle, this is the team to see, they care about the customer and community and it shows on everything they do. Thank you again, you are appreciated Mike & Mica~

Great experience working with this dealership to purchase a new Crosstrek. Salespeople listened to what I was looking for, combed their database to see if something could be transferred, gave me a fair deal on my trade-in, and were not too hard-sell on the extras. Finance application went through quickly. Very positive experience.

First ever visit to AutoNation Subaru in Scottsdale. I usually go to Camelback Subaru and haven’t been thrilled with the service. The AutoNation Subaru store is so nice and has a huge selection! More importantly, the staff is great! I ended up buying a new outback from David G! Best car salesman I have ever had. He put me at ease from the very beginning and seemed to genuinely care about making sure I got the vehicle that was right for me. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I never felt pressured or like he was trying to upsell me. Thanks for making my car buying experience a pleasure! Love my new outback and will definitely be taking advantage of the free class they offer to help you learn about the new features!

I've had the pleasure of working with Service Advisor Dhir (Dee) Mediwala at Auto Nation in Scottsdale, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with his professionalism, technical expertise, and outstanding customer service. What sets Dee apart is his exceptional communication skills. He kept me informed at every step during each and every service appointment ensuring that I felt comfortable and confident that all areas were taken care of as discussed. His friendly demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable, and I appreciated his dedication as he made sure that I, as the Customer was always taken care of. Not only did Dee handle my service appointment with integrity, the mechanic that worked on my car was exceptional! Thank you so much for the great service experience!

I had an offer and agreement to buy a Toyota C-HR. Was told they would be able to deliver the vehicle the following day without an issue. Both the salesperson, Eve, and the Finance Manager Tracy both assured me it wasn’t an issue. Eve placed a SOLD sign on the car. The application was given and deposit was offered. This offer was rejected and I was told it was unnecessary. Fast forward 4 hours when Eve texted me to tell me the vehicle had been sold. This action is unethical on part of the dealership and its finance manager.

I came across an Outback on their website that had everything I was looking for. The sales department was very easy to work with. I negotiated the deal over the phone and through texting before stepping foot in the dealership. We were able to reach an agreement easily without long back and forth negotiations. I spent about two hours in the dealership the next day to evaluate my trade-in, complete the paperwork, and take delivery. It was an easy buying process, and I'm very happy with my Outback!

I've financed a few cars before but I've never had such a great experience as I did with this group here. Super knowledgeable, super organized, unbelievably helpful. They got me the exact car I wanted and went above and beyond to get me a better interest rate with a different bank than what I walked in with. An amazing warranty with a ton of nice bonuses that I didn't even know were available. They worked with me to get me everything I needed and still kept everything within my budget. Kole and Sofia made this car buying experience stress free and when the next generation Crosstrek Wilderness comes out, I'll be back here hopefully working with the same individuals. Thank you, you guys are the best and I'm making sure to tell everyone I know to make the drive to Scottsdale, it was worth it for me. I couldn't be happier with the service and work y'all did and the vehicle. Thank you so much!

I bought a 2017 Volvo V60 with around 95800 miles or so on it to replace my previous vehicle. The process of the test drive, selling, and any information provided by James Taylor was great! The dealership wasn’t pushy at all and James made the buying process very simple. I already was pre approved for a great APR through Navy Federal, and they were able to get me an even lower APR here, I was shocked! The car is in great condition, and apart from a couple things that can be covered under the AutoNation Certified Warranty, I’ve had no issues. I plan to return here again to buy my next vehicle whenever that may be, and I recommend James Taylor as an agent to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and kind sales representative! UPDATE: The few issues I had, such as my front sway bar end links, timing belt, and a start/stop issue were all able to be fixed free of cost under my AutoNation Certified Warranty. The General Sales Manager, Chris Brehm, was able to make the process smooth as possible for me. He’s a really great guy who cares about creating customer loyalty and ensuring the customer is satisfied. Between the buying experience with James, and the support experience with Chris, I can recommend this dealership to anyone with confidence!

The sales representative was very helpful, and I feel I was able to make a truly worthwhile purchase. While negotiation is not my strong suit, we were able to have thorough discussions based on objective information, which allowed me to make the decision with confidence and satisfaction.

Dec 30th, 2025 purchased Subaru Solterra Premium. Process went relatively smooth and without sales pressure tactics. Pretty straight forward. Found right model, color, test drive, and discussed pricing. A little negotiation took place as we tried to find an OTD price that was acceptable to both dealer and me. No red faces / no arm waving / no seeing three extra guys to close the deal. Much Better than what anticipated would take place. Ken Cullen, Bud Thomas, Kalie Tiedeman, Sofia Faussette all polite, friendly, answered all questions; a professional business process. Yes: I'd buy from them again. Buying an all electric EV is a learning curve. Subaru furnished all cables, basic charger, & adapter needed. Biggest challenge is figuring out which apps are needed to find charging stations, how to set up payment for fast charging, what kind of outlet is needed at home. Still working through that. Installed following apps: Subaru Connect, EVgo, ChargePoint, PlugShare, Electrify America which pretty much shows every fast charge station in Arizona. (lots of them!) Also, lots of new icons, symbols, and settings on this Solterra EV that am not familiar with. The Owners Manuals help a lot. So far, we like the car. And OBTW, it can really take off fast! One suggestion to help customers with the EV charge learning curve might be for APS / SRP or reputable Electrician to host periodic seminars at Auto Nation Dealerships to go over what's recommended for in-home charging and how to use fast charging stations. Picture shows initial garage cable run. Will be adding a few cable management accessories later.

James Taylor was fantastic! Open and honest and always there for questions. I came in looking for a Rubicon but sadly that day it was shipping to another state. James let me know what was going on and I was able to look at another jeep that had been traded in the day before. We took it for a test drive and I loved it! I was able to put a hold on it so that if inspection came back clean it was mine. The week that I was waiting for inspection James kept me informed and the buying process was extremely easy! Excellent service and a huge selection of all types of vehicles. Highly, highly recommend!

I took my car in for an oil change and diagnostic because it was vibrating on the highway. They said it was a balance issue and fixed it which is fine but I came home and found my mat hook broken off. They charged me for the part when they replaced it but didnt put it back in right. It pulls up and lifts the carpet with it. Along with that, I had my cabin filter replaced and they destroyed the pins that hold the glove box in place. literaly ripped them almost completely off so my glove box just hangs down when I open it. The service advisor assured me it would be replaced but here I am more than a month later with no replacement and they wont respond to calls or texts. I have taken my car there for many years and these last few times, my car comes back damaged in some way. Reckless, inexperienced and total disregard for my car. And they want me to bring it in to have the brakes done...No way. I am too afraid for my safety. The service dept there has gone downhill.

Update: I contacted Autonation two more times, no return call. Time for a YouTube review. We bought our Ascent in January of 2019 and up until this past summer, had them do all services. I decided to take over servicing the car, and while doing routine maintenance, I discovered that fasteners were missing on the intercooler duct, air inlet to radiator support, and the windshield washer to radiator support. They were the only ones to work on the car. They replaced the transmission last February, and the year before an oil leak, which required the engine to be removed. Somehow, in those processes, they must have disassembled things and failed to replace them. I tried contacting the dealer through FB, email, and I have a text number to the service advisors I have used in the past. No reply at all. We plan to get a new car for my wife in a few months and give this one to one of our kids. At this point, we will likely get something else. While we've had a good relationship in the past, this is concerning, and more so, the lack of quality and conscientiousness in repair and service. They changed the oil since the transmission service and never thought to fix these issues, but pointed out things that bring money in. This is a problem caused by flat rate, metrics, and KPIs, which push speed over quality.
