A few months back had the water pump replaced. They allowed me to bring my own part and charged a very fair price; yes cash only. This is my go to shop when I need a pro. I get a few looks when I tell people Husbands fixed everything. As Seinfeld said , "not that there is anything wrong with that." Good folks and a solid shop.

So happy I brought my car in for service vs waiting for an appointment with the dealer. Not only did they get me in within 2 days, but my car was ready hours ahead of time. Bill was so friendly and answered all my questions. Very pleased.

I've known Dale Husband for roughly 50 years (we went to HS together at Chaparral). He's an excellent mechanic, has a top-notch shop, and I know 1st-hand his impeccable character and integrity. For whatever reason, when it comes to Americans choosing an automotive shop, the seriousness of the decision is probably 2nd only to choosing a Doctor. And, we all have enough to worry about in life that we don't need the added worry of someone working on our vehicle(s) who we don't know, and don't know if we can really trust. Bring your vehicles to Husband's Automotive and kiss that stress goodbye.

Honest and thorough. Not long ago I took my 2013 Audi in for engine repair. The number three piston had no compression. A new or even used engine was going to be very expensive. The service lead recommended that maybe Audi might be able to offer a better deal. I took his advise and although the cost was still expensive the Audi Dealer was able to give a great discount on a new engine and other work. I saved quite a bit of money. Husband's is my mechanic as I trust their word and will take their advise in the future. Thanks!

We've used Husbands from time to time for mainly oil changes as the pricing was always fair and the service was fast. Recently my wife needed to have Fender Liners and Engine Liner Cover installed. I took the car to an auto-body shop thinking they would be the best choice. They wanted 3 times the amount for the same work that was completed at Husbands. I don't want you to think of them as the cheapest but more so honest, trustworthy and professional. Mark Mashal

I was recommended Husband’s Auto by a friend and have brought my car to then twice. The first time they found some needed maintenance and their quote was hundreds less than the dealer. They did all of the work in half of the time at a better price. They are easy to call and make an appointment. The staff is friendly. So happy I found this business!

It is very difficult to find a honest mechanic. It will cost you a lot of money otherwise. Stop looking for mechanic. Husband's Automotive will service your car honestly and their work is excellent. They are recommended in the "bumper to bumper radio show" and their reputation is absolutely true. Trustworthy and great mechanic they are. The best!!!

Husband's Listened To My Story on Brakes and Fixed The Problem. I had another company inspect the brakes and they recommended a complete brake system replacement for about $2800. I thought this was outrageous and asked Dale to flush the system and replace the brake fluid. He did the job in about 2 hours and charged a reasonable price. The brake system works fine.

I was referred to Husbands Automotive by a friend and both time I have come I have had a very positive experience. They really.do care about the customer and their prices are very reasonable. They replaced my alternator 2 months ago and now I started have some transmission issues and thank God I came here first because they were able to investigate and it was extremely low on transmission and I need some gaskets replaced vs replacing the entire transmission. I am.so thank God for them as they have bought me some time on my 20 year old Lexus SUV.

Husband's did a great job with our car, we were on a road trip and had a minor issue with our car in Phoenix and needed it repaired quickly. They got the car in and fixed it the same day and we were good to go. The woman we spoke to at the front desk was very helpful! Highly recommend.

We found husband’s auto motive through the next-door app in our neighborhood where it got a lot of great reviews. Recently we had our car break down and had it towed there. Sadly, they realize quickly they were unable to repair it because it needed a whole new engine, but they referred us to Another place where we had the motor rebuilt. Mandy and the gang at Husbands Automotive Were wonderful with us through the whole procedure, and we thank them very much and we are pleased to refer others there! Such a nice change in today’s world….

Husband’s was recommended by a friend. As I live out of state, I didn’t know where to go w/o feeling like I would get scammed or ripped off. He had nothing but good things to say and they did not let him or me down! Manda listened to my concerns and got me in as soon as they could. She was always very friendly, clear and detailed. They called me each time there was new information and to approve next steps. Clayton was my tech; he got my car running smoothly again, without unnecessary upselling, was clear about his diagnosis/time, and really made it so I feel safe in my car again. Thank you both for making a stressful situation as painless as possible, you are appreciated! I will definitely be going back anytime I’m in town, for any and all my maintenance/repair needs.

I took my old Mercedes, which had been sitting for a few years, to Husband's Auto to see if it was worth fixing. They gave me an estimate of around $900, and I agreed to have the repairs done. I had the car towed to them, and they claimed everything was fixed and ready to go for $900. However, before they had it towed back to me, I asked them about the condition of the tires, and that's when they informed me the tires were unsafe to drive on. This was frustrating because I had specifically asked upfront if the car was worth fixing. At that point, I had already committed to the $900 repair, but adding another $1,200 for tires suddenly made the whole thing not worth it—especially for a 20-year-old vehicle that I only intended to use as a spare. Since the car wasn’t registered, I had it towed back to me after the repairs were supposedly finished, but I never stopped by their shop to inspect the work myself. When I went to start it, dust blew out of the AC system, and it was blasting hot air. Clearly, the AC hadn’t been touched in years. I called Husband's Auto to bring it back, but instead of helping, they asked, "What did you do to it?" and refused to take the car back. I ended up taking the car to another shop, where they found the AC system was bone dry. They filled it with coolant, and since then, the car has been running perfectly with no issues. To top it off, Husband's Auto always seemed cranky and unpleasant to deal with—not a welcoming environment at all. Now, I know they're going to respond and claim they tested the AC and it was working fine, etc., but the bottom line is that when they gave the car back to me, the customer, the AC wasn’t working. Who cares if it was "working" for them? It wasn’t working when they dropped the car off at my house, and that’s what really matters. They’ll probably also respond saying that they don’t handle tires. But they sure had no problem telling me that the tires weren’t safe to drive on when I asked about them. When I brought the car to them, I specifically asked for an overall report on the car’s condition so I could decide if it was worth fixing. For some reason, they ignored the tires until I directly asked if they were okay. The car had been sitting for so long that even I thought to ask about the tires—and I don’t even work on cars! I highly recommend you go elsewhere. It’s a cranky, unhappy environment—you can tell just by reading the responses to all the bad reviews the kind of place this is.

Outstanding Service & Attention to detail: I have an older, high-mileage truck that has required some major repairs. I was nervous as to where to take it. On a recommendation from a good friend, I went to Husbands Automotive and have never looked back. They clearly explained what needed to be done, provided clear upfront quote on costs and turned it around quickly and perfectly. They were also very thoughtful in the sourcing of parts, saving me money while not compromising on quality. I highly recommend them for any repairs or service.

We were on our way to Tucson to move our daughter into college at UA when our AC decided to stop working. With a 2.5-hour drive ahead of us in 100-degree weather, we were desperate for help. Unfortunately, every shop we talked to turned us away. Husband’s Automotive was already booked solid—it was noon and they had a full schedule—but Dale took the time to listen to our situation and decided to help when no one else would. After the crew returned from lunch, they squeezed us in and managed to get the AC working enough to make the trip bearable. Dale explained the issue clearly, letting us know it was a larger problem that would need to be adressed but never pressured us into unnecessary repairs. Instead, he told us this quick fix would get us by until we could either address it in Tucson or even until the weather cools down. That kind of honesty and care is rare. We are so grateful for their willingness to step in and help us out when we needed it most. Husband’s Automotive has definitely earned our trust, and we highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable and compassionate service!

I highly recommend Husband's Automotive. I drove to Scottsdale from Michigan, and my truck required servicing. They agreed to service the truck right away when I arrived with the check engine light on. My truck was serviced the same day. The repair cost was reasonable and not overly expensive. Mandy, the service manager, provided excellent updates and detailed information about the repairs. The business card reads, "Putting Honesty and Integrity into the Automotive Repair Business," and my experience confirmed that the phrase is more than just a slogan.
