Fernando took great care of us. After working with Preston and Tyler at the store, we had ordered some tires for a company work vehicle, and that tire was discontinued. At first it seemed like it was a bait and switch, but then Fernando jumped in took a great care of us as always and it’s the reason why we continue to use Discount Tire. Thank you for taking care of us, getting us the tire that we needed with the updated model, and even rushed over to the store New Year’s Eve so that we could get it on by year end and he didn’t even charge us for the courier fee!! In life people make mistakes, but it’s what you do to fix them. That’s what stands out. Thank you!!

And nothing but good experiences at discount tire but I've been to two one in Mesa where I was losing air and simply told it was normal. Less than 5 days later the one on Frank Lloyd wright found the screw and help me replace my tire. No I didn't know in advance I was coming so it took me a little while but I had a warranty and it was a speediest could be. Not speedy enough but they do good work

I can’t say enough good things about Tyler at Discount Tire. My wife and I rolled in just minutes after closing with a screw buried deep in our tire — the kind of situation that could’ve easily turned into a bad night. Instead, Tyler showed what true customer service looks like. Rather than turning us away or asking his team to stay late, he personally stepped in, grabbed the tools, and plugged the tire himself. No complaints, no attitude — just genuine kindness and professionalism. In a world where people often do the bare minimum, Tyler went above and beyond to help a family in need. That kind of compassion and leadership says everything about the kind of person and manager he is. Discount Tire is lucky to have him.

I set up an appointment for my sister at this location, picked out some nice Pirellis online that was $100 off, paid for and set up online. When she gets there the tires that was supposed to go on is not on site even though online says they have them available. They put on some continentals rated the same as the ones I purchased online but charged her almost $300 more. Unbelievable. If you don’t want to get taken advantage of, don’t go to this location

This is the most packed busy location I have been to In The Valley before. but I feel like these guys were there just to do their job not to pull scams or take advantage of people. they did get me in and out of there a little bit longer than they initially said but I was still out of there before I needed to get to my next destination, which worked out. 80,000 mile warranty took care of everything with zero fees. although my car is still rocking, they did align the PSI. the man at the front desk told me that they were going to rotate the tires too. I'm not sure if they did that or if they just equalized the PSI among all four tires. to be honest I could have released some of the air out of my front tire and balanced the PSI myself within 10 minutes vs waiting nearly 2 hours for someone else to do it. but at least taking it in I'm sure they would have noticed if something was wrong, like a leak.

Exceptionally fast service, friendly and helpful people including everyone in the outside shop (Nick actually listened to my concerns and noted them), and willing to work with you if you are not satisfied. I wasn’t happy with the fitment of the tires that were initially installed so they were changed to a different brand the next day. * they can work on modified/lowered vehicles which is a huge plus

To write an amazing review about Christopher because he was not only super nice friendly, but very honest I had to bring in my car early this morning due to a flat tire and I’m so glad I brought it here instead of going to Lexus. Christopher immediately helped me and explained that they could do their best with my tire. He also got me set up with some windshield wipers. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the honesty of Christopher and how helpful he was to me got everything done super quick and easy and I didn’t even have to pay for the patch on the tire. I will be back here when I need a full set of tires because I trust Christopher is a trust worthy person and he does a great job

Wouldn’t patch my tire and said I needed all new tires and if they were to patch it the tire would fall apart and not be able to inflate since the side wall was so worn out… I laughed and left. The guy was just doing his job but I could tell he didn’t believe a word he was saying to me either and that’s just what corporate is forcing them to say. I have an easy 20k+ miles left on my tires and in no way shape or form was my side wall on that one tire compromised. So where did I go - WALLMART and they fixed it for $15 and said they all looked good and didn’t try and hustle me or upsell me. Never again going to discount tire for anything.

Second horrible experience at this location. Waited over two hours to look at car & determine it wasn't repairable. Day prior DT already said they needed to replace the tire - why I had an appointment. When I called to confirm they had the correct tire to replace it with they couldn't locate my car, tried to put me on hold because there was a customer in the store & then said they had the tire in store & it would be done by 1:02pm. Two hours later arrived for pickup vehicle wasn't done & they didn't have the tire in system. When I called to speak to a manager, Preston the assistant manager refused & said he would handle it. While on the phone he continued to speak over me. There was no apology, no urgency, no accountability for their mistakes. After dropping my vehicle off at 11:30am, my eta is 5:40pm. You'd think after choosing the slow tire transfer the process would be expedited..... My dad & brother work for the company (I am a former employee as well) & know they have access to uber tires from other stores to get jobs done quickly. They chose to use another delivery that would take three hours. My previous experiences at this store haven't been great. The last time I purchased tires here they put the tires on wrong - posing a HUGE safety hazard. Go to another discount store.

Discount tire is the absolute best. I have never had a bad experience with them! Their pricing on tires is very competitive and the customer service is top tier while offering a free check on tires. I came into this location today at 4:30 as a walk in with a nail in my tire and as expected, they were busy with the after work rush. Fernando E got me in immediately, was kind, courteous and very accommodating. They allowed me to leave while my car is worked on and then sent me a text telling me when my car was ready. To my surprise, the patching service was free. Tyler whom pulled my car around front, was also very kind, careful and knowledgeable about the service that was just completed. I’m very happy with the service and I will not go anywhere else for my tires!

I am fairly new to the area and I must say this was a less than pleasing experience for me. I went to DCT on Frank Lloyd Wright to have a simple tire repair. I was told I would need 5 new bolts for my tire. These people sent me 30 minutes one way to get them, one hour of drive time. When I returned they put them on. When I got home I checked the new bolts ( should have done while I was there I know) and 2 of them are stripped because they used power tools to tighten the bolts as opposed to hand tightening, as they should know to do. I then noticed I have 2 black caps on the tires and 2 silver caps on the tires. All were silver caps before. Where are the caps you removed? They can't even do the simplest of tasks right. This place takes NO pride in their work at all, none zero nada. They did not clean my rims nothing professional about this place. I will be needing new tires in a few months, I need my transmission serviced, and I will not be bringing my business to this location, or to any DCT shop. They're all the same. They just do not care. Don't expect to be impressed because you won't be. That is not the nature of their business practices. I wish I had read all the reviews before going there. Do your homework and save a few brain cells.

I arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and the team courteously informed me that it would be approximately 15 minutes before they could assist me — which I completely understood. When it was my turn, they were professional, thorough, and clearly explained everything I needed to know. During my visit, I observed how diligently everyone was working. The entire team was focused and efficient, assisting each customer with patience and professionalism. Even after closing, they remained on-site for over an hour and a half to ensure that every customer received the help they needed, without a single complaint. I have great respect for these gentlemen — their dedication, work ethic, and commitment to excellent service truly deserve recognition and praise.

I've been a fan of DT over the years. They do have one area they could improve in, and that is their interaction with online Tire Rack (which they've owned for a couple years). The tires I wanted were not available at DT, so I found them online on TR. I asked DT if I should order them and have them shipped to the store. DT said I should come in (Scottsdale FLW store) and have them order for me, which I did. DT ordered them and said they should be in by a certain day. When I called DT on that day, the people were quite confused about the order and had a hard time finding it. Eventually, after a couple phone calls, I was told the tires weren't in, but would be there in two days. Two days later I called about them. After someone searched the store, they said the tires weren't there, but they would be in the next day. So I made an appointment at DT for late the next day. The next day I called a couple time to verify they were there. No one seemed to be able to say one way or the other, but eventually they said they hadn't arrived. So I decided to keep the appointment, so I could go in and talk to someone face-to-face about the situation. It took four DT people to find the tracking number in the system, which indicated the Tire Rack order should be there the following day. So I made an appointment late the following day, and verified shipment using the tracking number they (finally) provided. After eight business days, perhaps 8-10 phone calls, and three trips to DT, the tires were on the car! The Sr. Assistant Manager at the DT store was sympathetic with my situation and talked with me and did his best to rectify the situation. I remain a fan of DT, as I know things like this can happen when trying to integrate another business into your systems. But they still need to work on integrating their system, and do some specific training, regarding their interaction with Tire Rack. There is a great opportunity here if this ordering could be made a seamless, smooth experience! (Note - customers ordering TR tires through DT should at least get an email with information about how to track the order, etc.)

My wife’s tire was flat when she got to work. I put spare on and took tire in and purchased a new tire. Got new tire same day. Was able to put it on in the afternoon. Staff in the morning and in the afternoon were exceptionally polite and found me such a great price! I am recommending this establishment to all my friends, family and coworkers! I am not recommending big o tires they charged a us so much more for same tire!

Another horrible experience with discount tire. I'm starting to think none of these locations can be trusted. They left marks from the impact wrench on the rim all around the lugs on all four rims. After bringing this to the attention of the general manager he immediately had an attitude and was extremely rude and condescending. He admitted there were in fact impact wrench marks and proceeded to blame it on me and told me I'm "looking to closely", which I can't believe is a solution being presented. How about not damaging my vehicle? Some necessary context here is these rims just had to be replaced after discount tire ruined them last time and I'm just now getting them rotated for the first time since. Nobody has touched them since they were replaced. I made this extremely clear to the representative and told him I had pictures of each rim that I took as the car was parked in the lot for my own protection. To then blame the customer and make rude remarks despite me having clear evidence they were undamaged before is unacceptable. Don't even get me started on the fact I waited well over an hour longer than the expected time, and my car wasn't even in the bay when it was supposed to be completed. I frankly can't bring any cars back to discount regardless of the location my experiences have all been awful lately. I recommend you save yourself the pain and find a different company in general. UPDATE: I wanted to update this so everyone knows how the claim process will go. They now send you through a 3rd party company which drug this process out for almost 2 months just to decline it. They lied saying there was damage in the first pictures, even though you can clearly see there is none. Even the store rep agreed there were no marks there before the rotation when I brought this car in… This is incredibly disappointing and I recommend you take your car elsewhere. I will be doing this and telling everyone I possibly can about this awful experience. Lying to your customers is absolutely unacceptable.

I had such an outstanding experience at Discount Tire on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd and I truly can’t recommend them enough. I ended up having an issue with my tires that required multiple visits, and not once did their level of care, patience, or professionalism change. Every single time I came in, they treated me with the same kindness and attention as day one. I was never made to feel like an inconvenience. Instead, they genuinely listened and worked hard to figure out what was going on. They tried everything they could to resolve the issue and were thorough in making sure each possible solution was explored. And when those fixes didn’t solve the problem, they didn’t hesitate — no questions asked, they replaced the tires to make it right. That kind of accountability and commitment to customer satisfaction is rare. I especially want to give a huge shoutout to William and Devin. They were incredible through the entire process and truly embodied everything great about this team. They were patient, professional, transparent, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of. Their positive attitudes and genuine care made all the difference. Thank you guys for standing behind your work and prioritizing your customers the way you do!
