I was so upset about noticing a loose wheel trim that would cost a lot of money to be replaced. I called Doug and Christina, they calmed me down and agreed to take a look to see if it might have happened at this location after a repair. Doug agreed to replace the wheel cover. I appreciate how fair he was about looking into whether or not they would replace the trim. Thanks Doug and Christina. Monique

Shoutout to Christina and the service department! My carpets were soaked from a roof leak, which I knew was going to be no small task to fix. They really helped ease the stress by accommodating me with a rental, they were flexible and worked around my schedule while I was on a work trip, very responsive and friendly. I did not get "corporate" vibes from anyone, I was treated like a human and given a fair deal on everything. Great attention to detail on the actual work itself as well, my car looks brand new after having inches of water pooled in my floors.

I most likely will not be coming back to this dealership. I used to work for a Volkswagen dealership in Denver so I felt like I knew what to expect but the service advisor and manager here just ruined the entire experience. I took my car there multiple times And still my issues are not fixed. My car is overdue for a timing belt and a brake fluid service, but they never mentioned either of those things. I doubt they ever even did an inspection. Not to mention that no one here ever answers the phone.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent service I received for my vehicle at your dealership. Not only was the quality of the work subpar, but I was also charged far more than expected—without clear justification. Additionally, I was made to wait an extra two days for my vehicle, which caused significant inconvenience, especially as I was not informed of the delay in a timely manner. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I expected better professionalism and transparency from your team. I would appreciate a clear explanation of the charges and an update on what will be done to address the poor service and delay.

Sadly I was hoping for better, but overall our impression with VW in general is disappointing and VW of Mandeville considerably worse. We purchased a vehicle and noticed a leak in the coolant system after the check engine light came on. Took the vehicle in multiple times while in warranty and told there is nothing wrong just add some coolant. After doing this for almost two years, we took it to another dealership and when they didn't find anything either, I did some research (thanks google!) and found TSB 15-23-01 - Head Gasket Leakage. I took this back to the second dealership and sure enough they found the leak.. the problem, my vehicle is no longer under warranty. So they offered a "good faith" deal of 50% off or about $1000.00 to fix. I took the vehicle back to the original dealership and they informed me that we could take it up with corporate but it was a $2000.00 repair. Corporate says its the dealerships issue. Way to get the run around.

No haggling, no surprises, and top-notch customer service (after I had shopped around for weeks) resulted in my purchase. Within 24 hours, my son had his first car without a single moment of dread. Not what I was expecting, Adam Zeringue delivered the car to us in New Orleans so we could keep it a surprise. Thank you for the best car buying experience ever, Adam, and for going the extra 70 miles!!! AND thank you for following up afterward (more than once) to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Happy indeed!!!

I had Antifreeze leaking. Was told by another dealership they couldn't get me in for 2 weeks. 🙄 So I called Mandeville VW Service. Told them the situation. They got me in that day. Very nice people, willing to go out of their way for the customer. Will take all my VW Service needs to them again. Thanks so much!

I drove an hour and a half last night (past closer VW dealerships) to seal the deal on a new car! I’ve been in the market for quite some time but other dealerships weren’t able to get my note where I needed it. Saint (BDC manager), Frenchie (sales specialist), & Lon (finance) were nothing short of amazing. From start to finish these guys at VW in Mandeville made the entire process seamless and easy. They didn’t give up on getting me in a new vehicle. Each time they’d have specials or different interest rates, they’d reach out to see what we could do. I’ve purchased quite a few cars through the years and I’ve never had a salesman as thorough as Frenchie. He took the time to show me all the bells and whistles and suggested I come back in a couple weeks to go over any questions I may have as I get used to it. He also told me I could text him in the meantime with any questions I may have about how things work in the car and he’d go out in the lot and find the exact car I have and send videos to help out. How wonderful is this?! The dreaded finance part was simple and quick. Lon was great at explaining everything I needed to know to help me choose what I felt was right for me. I’m proud to have done business with the folks at VW Mandeville and I think you will be too! Give them a call!

My son in law had spoken with and negotiated a deal with this dealership. We had an appointment to go in sign docs and leave. When we got there none of the salesmen or finance had been told about us or the deal made. Unknowingly He had only been speaking to the Internet lady. We were there 3 hours. Thankfully the finance office was great at their job and got us a better deal. Car dealership shenanigans are ridiculous

I was thinking of taking a look at a VW but after the many horror stories I’ve read, I don’t think I will. Especially if the service department is responsible for so many mishaps to your vehicle. I’ll not take the chance. You would think the dealership would make some improvements some how.

Picked up a 2025 GLI from Volkswagen of mandeville last weekend and it was the easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. Saint was a great help via phone and online and Matt was pleasant and easy in person. No BS and no runaround.

Second time bringing our Volkswagen SUV in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. 1st time waited 2 hours. 2nd time 3 hours. What's the point of making an appointment if they aren't going to honor it. When I arrived on time for my appointment they said there were 2 cars ahead of mine. I feel like I'm in a Seinfeld episode, "You know how to take the reservation, but you don't know how to keep the reservation, and keeping the reservation is the most important part of the reservation!"

My experience with Volkswagen Mandeville was outstanding. I scheduled my appointment with Doug and communicated with Christian in the service department. Both were incredibly approachable and easy to talk to. They completed everything promptly and kept me well-informed throughout the process. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend their services. I’ll definitely return in the future.

Christian was awesome! He always have the best customer service when I come in. Today I came in with a problem that a prior Volkswagen wouldn't help me with. Christian helped me with no hesitation. Also the service manager was very nice and informative with helping me with my problem. I would recommend Volkswagen of Mandeville to everyone! They really care about the customers needs.

If you are considering purchasing a vehicle at Volkswagen of Mandeville, I implore you to proceed very carefully. The experience with this dealership, specifically involving the “new GM,” was extremely unprofessional and alarming. Written pricing was issued, signed off upon, and later reversed. When asked for clarification, the response from the general manager was hostile and dismissive rather than transparent or solution-oriented. The tone and conduct of the new GM was especially concerning. Instead of leadership and accountability, the interaction felt combative and immature. When management is willing to walk back written representations and escalate conversations rather than address them professionally, that creates real risk for consumers. If this is the standard being set by the new GM, Volkswagen of North America should be paying attention. Behavior at the management level creates real liability exposure for the brand when customers are treated this way. Protect yourself. Get everything in writing. Verify everything independently. Do not assume professionalism just because there is a major badge on the building. Consider this a big, red, flashing warning label.

Purchased my second VW from this dealership yesterday. Had a Jetta SE for 8 years with zero trouble. Upgraded to a GLI and loving it! 10/10 would recommend shopping here. Everyone from Wayne, Ricky, Brandon, Saint, and rest of the staff were great to work with. Do yourself a favor and go to VW of Mandeville if you are looking for a vehicle.

My friend and I visited Volkswagen today and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with one of the managers. He was loud, pushy, and not very polite, which made us uncomfortable. It’s disappointing because I purchased my car there two years ago and had a great experience at that time. However, after our interaction today, we no longer felt comfortable staying and decided to leave. another man did help us out when he saw that we didn’t like the interaction we had and tried to fix the situation.. everyone there was great besides the one manager we had to deal with he definitely was your “typical salesman”

Do NOT go to this dealership to service your car. I have had my car for 3 years, with no issues in it running. I took the car to the dealership to fix a tail light bulb. The technician there told me that my radiator was busted and told me that there was no oil in the engine with it being a 3 thousand dollar repair. After getting the car repaired it was less than two months before the car stopped turning on all together. I’m not exactly sure what was or wasn’t done to the car when it was taken in for repair. I personally tried jumping the car and replacing the battery in it with neither fix working. I had the car towed to the dealership to get it repaired. It took the technician around one week of diagnosis to come up with a five thousand dollar repair on the car, which I was then told they were not sure that it would actually fix the car and make it drivable. When I heard that they wanted to start with a five thousand dollar repair I called and told the dealership I was going to tow the car to a different mechanic to get a second opinion and return the loaner car I was given later in the day. The service department turned away the tow truck driver and did not release my keys because they hadn’t received the loaner car. Mind you I had called and left a voicemail, because no one in the service department picks up the phone, and was never notified that they would turn the tow truck driver away because that hadn’t received the loaner. After returning the loaner the dealership had around a 36 hour timeframe until the tow truck came back to pick up the car. When the car was towed to the second mechanic they left out my spark plugs in the engine, they are still at the dealership, as well as left all my cylinder caps open, nuts and bolts were loose and found all over the car’s engine, the coils in the car were also found scattered across the engine, and a connector was broken in my engine when the technician was diagnosing my car. I was never told this by the service department and was notified of this issue when the second mechanic took a look at the engine of the car. A phone conversation was made between my step mother and the service departments manager, where he essentially told me he would send me the spark plugs and that nothing else would be done on the dealership’s end to rectify the mess they had made out of my engine. Mind you I paid 187 dollars for the diagnosis. On top of this the sales department of the dealership has never answered the phone when I have called them, ever. There was a point in time where I had to call them around 9 times to get an answer and not have my call go to voicemail. The service department is never busy when I visit in person so I truly do not see how picking up the phone is an issue. I have honestly had more luck in reaching the service department by calling the sales department and having my call forwarded to them. It is truly terrible how badly this dealership’s service department treats willing customers sometimes spending thousands of dollars on car repairs. The car is a 2014 volkswagen passat. I bought it with 99,000 miles, it is now at 124,000 miles and does not work anymore. The below pictures are images of how my car was left after their service.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been a Volkswagen customer since 2017, and every time I bring it to this dealership for repairs, it ends up costing me thousands of dollars—and somehow, after every repair, something new magically goes wrong… also costing thousands more. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after my most recent experience, I’m convinced these “additional” issues are happening because of them. I brought in my GLI for a simple misfire. They diagnosed more problems (including an internal oil leak), gave me a quote, and I agreed. That single repair alone was the start of a $8,000 chain reaction. I got my car back after a couple days, drove it for two days, and suddenly I had a low oil level warning—right after their “high-quality” oil change. When I brought it back, they magically found even more issues that needed thousands of dollars to fix. Fine. I paid—again. I picked up my car, drove down the road, and immediately heard a clanking noise that wasn’t there before. Back again. Another diagnosis. Another thousand dollars to fix a “broken mounting bracket” that was perfectly fine before. Fine. Fix it. A couple of days later, I picked it up again—and the clanking noise was STILL there. They had “fixed” something that wasn’t even the problem, and here we go again. Now it’s suddenly a camshaft, a magnet, and more parts that were never an issue before… another $2,000+. You’d think that would be the end, right? Nope. I drove home. The engine starts smoking. Not oil burn-off—an unrepaired gasket they were supposed to fix during the second job was spewing oil all over my engine. Thankfully, I didn’t have to pay for that part, but at this point the damage is done. I will NEVER bring my car here again. I’m finding a reputable local mechanic who actually fixes problems instead of creating new ones. If you’re thinking about using this dealership, BEWARE. I truly tried to be patient and give them the benefit of the doubt, but they’ve completely ruined that.
