Took my 2019 Audi A8L in to get an aftermarket Lowering module installed. With the part being very new to the D5’s, it seemed like quite a challenge. Don’t think anyone in SA or the surrounding area has this unit on their A8. The manager Dominic got it handled and did so with professionalism and quality service in mind. Not to mention they were careful with my vehicle and that was a plus. I highly recommend Vollmer Service Center for all types of vehicle repair and additions. I’ll definitely return

Straight up the best auto repair shop in San Antonio. Their staff emphasizes great customer service and professionalism. They have a comfortable and roomy waiting room but if you're in a hurry they do offer shuttle transportation. They're fast and diligent. I've had my A/C compressor and keyless door feature replaced on my 2012 BMW here. Both times, I didn't have any issue or reason to complain. The fellas at Vollmer Service Center are A1, they're experienced in all automobile repairs, bumper to bumper. I recommend them to anyone who has a vehicle.

I've been here a couple of times before when I was living nearby, but just recently moved further out of San Antonio. I was debating finding a new mechanic closer to my new location but it's hard to find a good one you trust. I couldn't stop thinking about how great Dominic has been in the past so I decided to figure out a time to make the distance work. I'm glad I did and took the shot to come out before I have to go on a road trip this weekend. Dominic took a look at my car and made sure l'd be okay for the trip. Every time I come, it's always a comfortable experience and easy to talk to him despite my poor knowledge of cars. Even with the distance, I know I'll be making sure to come here anytime I have any car problems in the future.

I took my van to Vollmer to get my engine replaced. The service manager contacted me often with progress updates. I spoke to the mechanic (I'm emotionally attached to the van so I needed to know who was working on her) and he was amazing. The work the performed was exceptional and they even fixed a couple of things that were not on the scope. When I picked up the van the bill was actually $1 cheaper than the quote. I am beyond pleased at the quality of work and the professionalism with which I was treated.

I highly recommend these guys for getting your major repairs done. Brought my Veloster in for a clutch replacement after being quoted $3300 from Firestone. After a quick call to see what they’d quote me for the same job they told me $2100. Cost breakdown and labor on my invoice all seem to match up. Furthermore, the edge of my bumper was sticking out as the clips have worn out, and they connected it back together just as a courtesy without me asking for it. These guys care about their work and their customer service and it shows. I don’t usually review businesses but when it saves me over a grand I’m happy to leave a review for a job well done.

First off, let me say I am all about supporting small, local business. I have been bringing my Land Rover here for a couple years for oil changes and routine maintenance. The owner, Dominic, is knowledgeable, friendly, and is all about putting the customer first. During my last visit, I had a minor issue pop up and Dominic went above and beyond to make things right. This Car Service Station is awesome, I took my son's minicooper here, we set up an appointment and they refilled his freon for his A/C and did his radiator bottom hose and reinforced it so it wouldn't dangle and they also Support our military!! Dominic and his team are all great. I never doubt I’m getting what I need here. I went to another place called Jackie’s Auto Clinic. The owner is polite and accommodating to his customers’ schedules but I was misled into getting an unnecessary $400 “fix” to my AC issue while I got the money to replace it outright. The fix did nothing to help the issue, which the owner admitted would probably happen, but he convinced me to give it a shot. And, come back when I can afford a full system replacement because “may as well get it all new for a few hundred more” rather than just replace the part I needed. I went to Vollmer about six months after this and got my AC fixed for less than what the other mechanic quoted me- because I only had necessary work done on my system. Dominic also explained why I didn’t need a whole AC system replacement, which I appreciate. He has never tacked on unnecessary fees for his work. If anything, they have made little fixes to my car without charging me. You can tell that the people at Vollmer are straight shooters. I’ll only go to Vollmer now. Thanks, Dominic!

Vollmer Service Center is the first shop I've used that I trust with all the work I cannot or do not want to perform myself and know it'll be done correctly and with care. I had an electrical issue with my ‘65 Mustang. A neighbor suggested I take it to Dominic and his team at Vollmer Service Center. There are no computers to plug into to help diagnose the issue on an older car. It takes good, old fashioned know how. They found the problem and took the time to be sure there were no other issues. Friendly and honest. I highly recommend them.
