The folks at Washington Car Care were really nice and got my car inspected very quickly. I recently took my bf to get a car inspection at another popular inspection place and the wait was over an hour. I picked him up and dropped him back off later in the day because he got tired of waiting. At Washington Car care, they attended to me immediately. In my 20 years of having to get my car inspected, this was the fastest, and did not sacrifice customer service.

Really great spot to get work done if you don't have a regular mechanic (especially last minute if you're like me), because they are such down-to-earth good people! The whole place has a real hometown feel- very accessible. Jose was able to run a same day inspection diagnostic, replace only what was necessary to meet state guidelines, explain it to me, show me what he needed to do before he did it, and get me out of there in less than an hour. That man is quick! The pricing was incredibly fair as well for the quality of service rendered and I can't say enough about how friendly and professional Jose and his team were today. It was a pleasant surprise to find them- and in a spot that is easy to get to just off capital blvd, too!

I've been to Washington Car Care for several inspections and today I had my brake pads replaced, oil change, and tires rotated. Jose, the owner, is very nice and appreciates your business. Very Courteous independent repair facility. Never had any issues. Give them a chance to service your general mechanical needs! Prices are reasonable for everything.

He tolerates a lot from guest clients but always maintains a level of professionalism. He replaced my brake vacuum booster and my van was up and running safely again. I don't live far from the shop so Jose came to my house to pickup my truck, replaced the battery at his shop, and bought my truck back to me. Talk about AMAZING service!! This place sucks! I went there to get my headlight bulbs replaced today. They claimed I had the wrong bulbs but they had the right ones. Instead, they changed my high beam bulbs, which I didn't ask for and didn't need done. They charged me $163 for this, and effed up the head light bulbs I actually wanted replacing. And their excuse for my headlights not working was it was an "electrical issue," which was a lie. They worked fine before. And when I confronted them about it, their grandson, who's a kid, told me to "act like an adult." I won't ever give them my business again. And I won't hesitate to tell anyone who asks me about them that they're rip-off artists...

I've visited Washington Care Care in Raleigh twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. The first time, my check engine light came on and I had gotten a code from AutoZone. The team quickly reviewed the documents and code I brought in, and they provided me with a detailed estimate for parts and labor. They even offered alternative diagnostic testing they could perform in-house. While I ended up not needing their services that time, I was really impressed by how helpful and thorough they were with no pressure whatsoever. My second visit was for my state inspection for car registration. The process was incredibly fast (in and out in about 15 minutes) and they made sure I had all the necessary documents to renew my registration. What stands out most is their efficiency, helpfulness, and how easy they make everything. No runaround, no unnecessary upselling, just honest service. They've definitely gained a loyal customer. Highly recommend!
