I would give the 10 stars if I could! They made it easy on us. My truck went in to West Side Customs on Thursday and was finished by Monday. My wife’s car went into another body shop the same day. It had very similar damage. It’s going to be another week before it’s finished. Kate and crew are outstanding! Honest, forthright and skilled.

My vehicle had hundreds of hail damage spots on it. Jeremy & Kate were the first call I made. I’ve done business with them for years because they custom painted my work fleet vans but this time it was my Porsche! They returned it in 2 days looking AMAZING! I have to admit I am shocked. I had just bought a new Bronco when I got hit by the recent hail storm. It made me sick seeing the damage to the new car. These guys took me in and gave me my truck back with absolutely sign of it ever being hit! Not to mention I got it back the same day. I’ve never had a company work so efficiently on my vehicle. Not to mention they took their time with me and answered every question I had. Always answered the phone and followed up with me as well. I highly recommend them for any hail or work you need to your car.

My 1988 Nissan truck was hit by an 20 yr guy with no insurance, four other body shops declined my business but Westside was all in for helping me. After three months and two payments to Westside, my truck is finally back on the road. The guy that hit me works at Texas Roadhouse and he has shone what it means to have good character, honest and taking responsibility for the accident. Westside was great to work with this guy to make payments, I couldn’t be happier.

On or about March 7, 2025, I entered into a verbal agreement with Jeremy, the owner of West Side Customs, to have my car painted. In good faith, I issued a check for $10,000 as payment for the agreed-upon work, and the agreement was confirmed with a handshake.
Over the next seven months, very little work was completed on the vehicle. On October 23, 2025, I retrieved my car from the shop and requested a refund, less any reasonable amount for work actually performed. Jeremy and his staff refused to issue the refund that day but stated it would be available the following morning. It was not.
As of December 8, 2025 the full amount of $10,000 has been returned to me.
However, the length of the delay, the lack of progress over seven months, and the prolonged refusal to return payment all demonstrate conduct that, in my view, falls far below any acceptable standard of professionalism, accountability, or customer care.
I am posting this review to ensure that the public is fully informed before entering into any agreement of this magnitude with this business. My experience was prolonged, costly in time, and needlessly adversarial—despite my consistent attempts to resolve the matter fairly.
Consumers deserve honesty, reliability, and timely performance. My experience demonstrated none of these qualities, and others should proceed with heightened caution.
I have included before, and after photos of the work performed. I am also included a picture of the paint scheme we agreed upon.
