My wife popped a tire and AAA brought it here. They wanted to charge $200 for a new tire and $300 for install. When garages 5 mi away charge $99 for the same service. Avoid this place!

WARNING!!! STAY AWAY FROM World auto in Escondido. They are incompetent . They cause severe damage to my car and geico approved us taking our car to another mechanic to repair all the damage that world auto had done to our car . In addition to that when they supposedly repaired our car we had to take it to the dealer to have bolts tightened that they never tightened. They paid the $250 fee to the dealer . But never told Geico about their incompetence. Be warned they do not know what they are doing when it comes to automobiles. And you are risking further damage to your car. If the system would allow they would be no stars or negative stars .

Would give 0 stars if possible. Our spent about a month here which I hope is reflective of the amount of work that went into fixing our car. However, upon picking up our car and returning home, we realize items were missing worth $100. I never would have imagined that technicians/staff would steal lacrosse equipment or else I would’ve taken it out of the car. I called several times that day to ask what happened and kept getting a run around of excuses. Totally untrustworthy, stay away from the Escondido location!

It's unfortunate that I have to write this review, as I did not want it to get to this point. Dropped off my Subaru Outback for a rear end collision on 11/30, and they got the approval from my insurance and started the work 12/5. Brian was the person handling my case. First estimate of completion was 12/13, and ends up being delayed. Not a big deal to me - Brian says it will be done three days later on 12/16. When 12/16 rolls around, another delay. Ok, things happen, I get it. Four days pass until 12/20, where Brian leaves me a voicemail saying my car is 100% done. I call back to confirm, and Brian says it actually is NOT done, and that they are done in terms of the hardware side of things, but needs a technician to come out to calibrate the rear auto lift gate. Something sounds off, since it's been delayed multiple times at this point, and I head into the shop to see a technician physically installing something - aka Brian was incorrect in telling me that the car just needed to be calibrated. Mike helps out and tells me that they are unable to fix the auto lift gate, and that they may need to bring it to the Subaru dealership to get it fixed. I ask him over the phone that same day when the ETA will be, and he is unable to give me an ETA because it would be wrong of him to give me a date because he is unsure if it would be correct. That's fine, better to underpromise and overdeliver. I get it. Fast forward to today, 12/28, Brian calls me this morning and tells me that the Subaru dealership is DONE with the car, and that he will call me later today to confirm the car is ready to be picked up. Unfortunately, Turns out when I just called the shop, the first woman that I spoke to stated that the car is not ready and forwards me to Brian. Brian states that the car is NOT ready either. So in review, the car has been delayed quite literally 5 times. Inaccurate in their assessment of how to fix the car, inaccurate assessment of how long it takes to fix the car, and very poor customer service in my opinion. And I still don't have my car back.

Geico Insurance authorized auto body shop and all around great service from start to finish. My car was rear ended and there really was not a lot of damage, but I wanted it fixed. Since this accident was not my fault I did not have to pay a deductible and was given a rental car which was all handled at the same time I brought my car in. I took my car in on Monday and they had my car completed in like new (actually in some ways better than new) by Thursday. I found out that they repaired a bumper rail that holds the bumper in place that apparently looked to have been repaired before, which was news to me, since I had bought the car from the local Kia dealer and they did not disclose any accidents to me when I bought the car; Ivan explained that they repaired the bumper to factory specs replacing the bumper rails and it does looks perfect, like new. I had also asked them to repair a front fog light that had popped out of its clips and they did that totally comped, which was super cool as the dislodged light bugged me and was impossible to get to without taking things apart, so these folks are great, personable, helpful and do really good work. Thank you from a very satisfied customer.

Had some work done by these folks awhile back, and the paint did not hold up. Paint started peeling and I had to come back for them to fix their work. Not a problem though, I understand things happen. What I will not tolerate however is the disrespect by the staff. The people in the office give very short winded answers and do not like to assist you when you have questions. They are lazy and just sit in the office on their phones. Their attitude is disrespecful and they just trying and shutter you out the door so they dont have to talk.

I am a huge skeptic when it comes to repair shops, this comes from more unpleasant experiences than I care to count. So consequently, I generally procrastinate and avoid engaging shops until I absolutely must give in. My threshold for satisfaction is pretty low, l just want my car fixed right within a reasonable time at a fair price. My beloved 2006 Honda Element with 200k miles was beginning to shed her paint on a few body panels. I got an estimate from one facility for around $3,000, which was about half of what my car was worth so that wasn't going to work. I stopped by World Auto Body, and was greeted by a friendly manager who quickly and promptly gave me an estimate of a fraction of what the other shop offer. I was quite pleased but also a bit apprehensive since the cost was much lower. I decided to go ahead and schedule it anyway figuring that it was worth a shot. When I got my baby back, I was stunned at how good it looked! The difference was night and day. But would really took me by surprise is the extent that these guys went over and above. They went the extra step to detail the whole exterior, wax and polish, and restoted my headlight lenses and no extra charge. Not only that, they also paid for me to get an Uber ride 25 miles away to get my other car also at no extra charge. I can't express how appreciative I am for the amazing service that these guys provided. I never thought I would give a glowing review of an auto repair shop. They truly exceeded my expectations and I most highly recommend them to anyone looking for paint and body work.

Cosmetically looks fine. The body work looks good.They also replaced the radiator. However upon returning the car they didn't add radiator fluid and didn't mention it when I picked up the car. Less than a week later my car starts to overheat. I pop the hood and low and behold they didn't add any fluid after they replaced it...they either should have added some when they replaced it or should have told me I needed to add some. Here's to hoping my newly replaced radiator hasn't cracked in the week in a half since I got the car back.

This shop was my insurance company's referred shop. Checking in was a breeze, the insurance company and the enterprise rental company were both at the same location, making it very convenient to drop off. My repairs were estimated to be completed at 5 days but was done by three. They did a really nice job detailing it, it looks better than it did before it was hit. The shop also let me drop the rental back off with them so I didn't have to make so many trips. Thanks guys, great job!

My Toyota Sienna rear (automatic) side door wasn't closing. I had to jam it closed physically in order to drive my dog home safely. The next day I drove by World Auto Body and pulled in to see if they can fix it. I was stressed because everything is costing so much $ these days. I spoke with the guys in the office and the manager went outside to check out my Sienna door. He then grabbed a tool and WD40. And my door now works perfectly with his work. I tried to pay him some cash at hand and he refused. He smiled kindly ,"No Charge". What! I don't trust Toyota Escondido they already lied to me saying I should get work done that was just done by I-10 Toyota. So grateful for kind and Honest people!

I would not recommend this place for anyone if you are looking for a decent repair. I had my car here for front side fender bender. The shop repaired it but misaligned the installation. Tried to tell their shop person, but was ignore about it. So now, the car has this gap between the hood and the side body. They don't pay attention to the detail and don't care about the customer complaint. If you love your car, take your nice car somewhere else. There are multiple places that shown poor workmanship. I post only one pics just as example. "One should give credit where credit's due. And none, if they don't deserve it!"
