Went to AutoZone because I had trouble with my car battery. They have free battery testing. They finished testing another car in front of me and called that one fine. My battery came back reporting "replace." I didn't have tools or anything useful with me. The employee found and sold me me a battery, popped my hood and replaced the battery. The labor to replace it was free. They had me back on the road really quickly. Really appreciate the work. Thank you.

How Luke Saved Halloween Halloween was hanging on by a thread — or more accurately, by a burnt-out van headlight. Tim, proud owner of a family van and an even longer honey-do list supplied by The Wife, discovered that one of his headlights had gone out the moment the sun dipped below the horizon. It was already dark, the night was slipping away, and the kids were seconds from disappointment. No headlights meant no driving. No driving meant no trick-or-treating. No trick-or-treating meant pure childhood tragedy. Enter Luke — the store associate, the unexpected hero, and all-around awesome guy. Tim explained the situation, the urgency, and the risk of facing The Wife with bad news. Luke didn’t hesitate. He grabbed the replacement headlight, stepped outside into the dark, and got to work beside the van. Together they fought the stubborn hardware, cramped angles, and the classic “why did the manufacturer put that screw in there?” dilemma. But they got the burnt-out light replaced. Just like that, Halloween was saved. They even attempted the second headlight — a shiny LED upgrade — but the clock was ticking, the job was a beast, and the kids’ candy dreams were on the line. Luke made the call: No time tonight, but they’d handle it tomorrow. And he meant it. The next day, Luke loaned Tim the tools he needed. Tim tore the van apart (responsibly), giving Luke the space to work his magic. With access cleared, Luke installed the LED headlight, then sent Tim home with everything reassembled and even hooked him up with a brand-new rear wiper. Halloween? Preserved. The kids? Triumphant. The Wife? Satisfied. Tim? Grateful. Luke? A certified Halloween hero.
