I took my vehicle to this company. They gave me estimation on how much it will cost to fix my vehicle. I came back to pay so they can fix my vehicle. However upon arrival I was told different estimate. When I ask the gentleman why the price changed he was very rude and dismissive. He stated that he has been working there over 25 years however I didn’t ask him how long he was working all I needed to know was my is he given me different estimate. They are rude and are overcharging customers. Please do not take your vehicle.

Called for an oil change and they made me an appointment same day at my convenience. Also, pointed out another serious issue I had (which I had forgotten about) when rotating my tires and let me stay to get it taken care of right away at a much more reasonable price than I had been quoted before for the same issue. My car runs great and I feel much more safe driving now. Great team/staff!

Update: After this review they are rarely blocking the bike lane any more. Thank you for listening to the community. This shop has decided that the bike lane in front is for them to illegally park cars in whenever they want as overflow parking creating a dangerous situation for bike riders.

Baraka Auto has an excellent team. They did a great job on my vehicle and was done sooner than any other auto center estimated it would take other team. The amazing thing, it was a last minute reservation and they fit me in when many other auto centers refused go even bring my car in their shop. Highly recommend this team and props to the main tech on the job Carlos. 35+ year vet with experience and knowledge in the field. What would have been 5+ hours of labor from other centers was done in less than 3. Do not hesitate to call these guys, they are no joke.

Exceptional service and repair! Baraka looked at my vehicle, gave me an immediate quote that I was very happy with. They got my car in right away, when the other auto body places said the soonest would be 4 months from now. They told me that it would take 3 days to repair the damage. It was done by noon on Day 3. The repair is exceptional. I highly recommend this BIPOC owned and operated business! They do not spend money on a fancy shop front, waiting room furniture, or signage. What they do is honorable work, quality work, and fast work! I highly recommend this shop!

This shop will lie and steal from you. I called and they quoted $120 to mount and balance my tires. I dropped my car off with the tires and again asked for & paid for mounting and balance. They left my car parked illegally in the bike lane for hours, and when I got my car back with the new tires on the car shook like crazy as soon as I hit 55mph. So I had to take it back in a few days to have them "balance" the tires again. The 2nd time they "balanced" the tires the car shook as soon as I hit 70mph. I took the car back a 3rd time and Baraka said they would fix it right away. 2 days later the car was still sitting in the same place, it had now been 4 total days they had my car, when they had previously promised this work would be done in less than a few hours total. They also left my car in a nearby bank parking lot unlocked overnight after assuring me they would bring it to their property for the night. They tried to say something else must be wrong with my car to cause the shake, but the tires ran perfectly on another car, and my car ran perfectly when I brought it to Baraka, so it was clearly a tire balance issue. The owner eventually admitted they didn't balance the tires either time I asked them to, and that they don't balance the tires when customers bring in tires requesting mount and balance(!!). This was an admission that they lie & steal from customers. The tech eventually balanced the tires while I watched. After he actually balanced the tires the car does not shake, of course. This was all a needlessly large hassle. It should have been 1 trip to their shop not trip after trip requiring the car be in their possession for 4 full business days over multiple weeks. The owner also pointed to my front brake rotors and pads and said they needed to be replaced. He pointed to the rear ones and said the pads and rotors needed to be replaced as well. The owners and staff clearly feel they can just lie to people about whatever, they will assume you are stupid. I'm a mechanic who knows the status of the components on my car. My front rotors and pads are in new, perfect shape; when I pointed this out he relented about the front ones, but insisted he had 35 years in the car repair business and was definitely sure the rear pads and rotors needed replacement. I had examined the rears recently; the pads are at half life and the rotors were well within spec as measured with a caliper.

Unprofessional! H e just looking for money but he doesn’t know how to solve problem of the car. I brought my car to diagnose engine light comes on, then ask me $200 only diagnose even he didn’t tell me what caused engine check light. The owner is rude and nomad. I am really recommend you, don’t go this place if don’t want stress and, they will take your money with nothing to fix

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. I prepaid $327.75 for a service and later decided to cancel before the work was done. When I requested a refund, the owner Ali was visibly hesitant and frustrated about having to return my money. Initially, I was told the refund would go back to my card. However, their system showed that the only refund options available were cash or gift card. The front desk employee, who was horrible at communication, issued only $260 in cash and gave me confusing and inconsistent information about the remaining balance. She told me to return at 2 PM the next day and that Ali would provide the rest. When I arrived, Ali was late, and I was given conflicting explanations about how the refund was supposed to be processed. After repeated delays and the runaround, I ultimately had to call the police just to receive most of the remaining money. Even then, I was only given $60 and was still short $7. At that point, I was exhausted and just wanted to leave. The entire situation was draining, unprofessional, and poorly handled. A refund for services not rendered should not be this difficult. I would not recommend this shop based on how this situation was managed.

I had a very bad and unfair experience at this auto service. I waited about 1.5 hours just for a basic diagnostic check. During this time, no one explained clearly whether my car could be fixed today or not. While I was still waiting, another customer arrived later, spoke the same language as the staff, and was immediately accepted, serviced, and left with his repaired car, while I was still ignored. After waiting all this time, the manager came out and told me to leave and come back tomorrow, saying they were “too busy,” even though I had already been waiting for a long time. No apology, no explanation, no respect for my time. This felt extremely unprofessional and discriminatory. Customers should be treated equally, regardless of language, nationality, or anything else. I wasted my time and left without even getting a diagnostic. I do not recommend this place and will not be coming back.
