★☆☆☆☆ The people were nice, but they need to work on their communication. A few months ago, we took in our 2003 Hyundai Elantra after our brakes went out. It's an old car and we were unsure if we should get the brakes fixed up or be done with the car. When I called, I asked for just a quote and when I dropped off the keys in the box, I even wrote on the envelope that we just wanted a quote. A few days later, I get a phone call that they went ahead and fixed it without our consent. I paid for the repair, got into my car and the brakes were still not fixed (they were improved, but I could push them so they were touching the floor.) So I went back into the shop and told them the brakes weren't fixed. They kindly took a look at it again in front of me and said there was another part of the brake line that was still broken plus there was a fuel line leak. I was very frustrated because if we had known about all the repairs that needed to happen (and that it would cost over $1000 total to fix) we would not have consented to having the small portion of the brake lines fixed (which was almost $300 in itself). The mechanic said he would try to "take it down a couple hundred dollars for the miscommunications" but did not offer to refund us for the repair they did without our consent. We decided not to fix up the car. So, long story short, we wasted our money and our time because of the shop's miscommunication.
