What started out well, ended in disappointment. On 1/21/26, I scheduled an appointment to meet with a sales representative on the afternoon of 1/25 regarding a 2026 Chevy Tahoe Z71 that was located at Dick Hannah Chevy in Sandy, Oregon. I was told the vehicle could be obtained through a dealer agreement. I arrived as scheduled around 1:00 PM on 1/25 and met with Michael and Dan. They were pleasant to work with, and after a few hours of discussion, we agreed on a price and I placed a deposit so they could proceed with securing the Tahoe from the other dealership. The price was a little higher than I hoped and Dan reassured me that since he was unable to bring the price down, he would overwhelm me with customer service. On 1/26, I contacted Dan multiple times via text for a status update and was told they were working on it and would provide an arrival date once confirmed. On the afternoon of 1/27, I reached out again but received no response. Around 3:00 PM, I texted Michael as well, also without a response. At approximately 4:30 PM that same day, I received a call from the sales manager, Matt, stating that the agreement fell through because the Dick Hannah Chevy had sold the Tahoe. Later that evening, I contacted Dick Hannah Chevy directly and was told the vehicle had not been sold and that several people had seen it that day. I specifically asked them to confirm this, and they assured me it was still available. They suggested I follow up on Friday (1/29). When I did, they again confirmed the Tahoe was still available and asked if I wanted to come see it. Unfortunately, I was unable to make the trip to Oregon, and the Tahoe was eventually sold on Saturday. As for my deposit, it was eventually refunded, but only after contacting the dealership a couple of times. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. It started with strong communication and promises, but ultimately ended lack of responsiveness, and disappointment. I would advise caution to anyone considering this dealership.
