ALL I CAN SAY IS YOU'LL BE SORRY IF YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I needed 3 of my vehicles inspected "PAST THE LAST MINUTE" Dan fit me into his busy schedule. He is very honest, Fair, experienced and all around great auto technition! Take it from me and others "NEVER" go to a dealer or "AUTO PARTS CHAIN STORE" your $ 2,000 car will be on the states computer as needing $ 6000 dollars of work you didn't need to pass inspection RIP-OFFS 😬. Had major problems with two Hudson, NH repair shops. It was so bad I was gun shy about taking my car anywhere including the dealership in Manchester, NH. After meeting with him several times and talking to others about his competency I decided to have him do the repair woek, supposedly performed by another shop last summer, this past week. He wants me to come back in a week, put the car on the lift and check out the repair work he did on axle seal which was supposed to be performed last August. He also repaired and replaced the hack job done to the exhaust system by another shop, last August, which advertise their "honesty". I learned, however, that advertising your honesty doesn't necessarily equate with competent repair work. If the work Dan performed doesn't hold up I will update this review. I'm pretty sure after researching what needed to done that Dan's Auto repair work will hold up. Finding a competent and honest auto mechanic these days is extremely difficult. I truly believe that if Dan thought a repair job wouldn't solve the problem or that, for some reason, he couldn't do it economically or was missing some specialized tools to complete the job he'd tell you so. In summary, you can feel confident that Dan is competent and trustworthy. Two virtues that are difficult to come by in the auto repair world.

Good value and high quality! Had a couple of O2 sensors replaced. Dan was very easy to talk with and was very forthcoming. He also does all the work himself (very seasoned). Price was very good as well. Near the Pelham/Hudson town line which is very convenient to us - we drive by there all the time. We highly recommend! Update Dec 2022 - Continued great service on our 2 cars, brakes, inspections, oil changes.

It's really hard to find a good mechanic theses days, Dan is a master mechanic and a righteous man, this is a perfect combo, our entire family goes to Dan's Auto and we will not go anywhere else. Dan will not sell you something you don't need and this is the opposite of what I find elsewhere. I'll never forget when he told me he could do the $900.00 epairs but he suggested that the car was too old and the money would be better used on a newer vehicle. He said he would be happy to do the work but his honesty is so refreshing and a change from the world we live in today. Thanks Dan for being you...

About two years ago, Dan's Automotive was highly recommended to me by my former retired mechanic as one of the best in the Southern NH area for top notch, excellent, no-nonsense, no-obfuscation, expert service at very reasonable rates. This has been exactly my experience with Dan (the one & only mechanic!)... along with a detailed show & inform explanation making me aware of my vehicle's current and future potential problems, some which are hidden or difficult to see or detect. When interacting with Dan, it's like you brought your vehicle to one of your trusted friend's garage to be worked on. How rare is that !?
