When I arrived I was greeted by Dean and told him I needed an oil change and he pulled my car in immediately and started working on it. He has a really nice waiting area equipped with a super cute coffee bar as well as bottled water. I have to be honest, I put off getting oil changes because cars are not something I’m familiar with Dean made me feel very comfortable with the entire experience. He communicated on what needed to be done as well as what he ultimately did. I was very pleased with my experience and will not only come back will recommend his place to others. Side note the bathroom was really clean which isn’t typical for auto repairs!

I wish every mechanic was like Dean! I've never had better customer service. I daily drive over an hour to commute to and from my workplace, and one night a deer jumped out onto the busy highway and wrecked my car right outside Novi! The headlight was completely taken out, the driver door would not open, and the car could no longer turn on. I'm not familiar with the Novi area so I had the tow truck bring it to a nearby mechanic with a lot of good reviews: Dean Auto Repair. And I'm so glad I did! It was after hours when we dropped off the car and I was unable to leave any kind of note, but I called right away the next morning to explain the situation. Dean was extremely kind and understanding, and promptly looked at the car for me. He even got it running! Unfortunately my insurance deemed the vehicle a total loss, but Dean remained in regular contact with me throughout the adjusting process and was extremely kind and sympathetic to my situation, often expressing how fortunate it was that I was not harmed in the accident. He made me feel very welcomed and taken care of, and I wish I lived closer so I could bring my vehicles to him regularly!

A trustworthy mechanic is worth his weight in gold. Dean fixed my cars’ breaks, when I asked him to do all four, he said the front ones did still have a decent chunk of miles left to give. I went to Dean's automotive today for an oil change and tire rotation. I have to say that Dean is one of the most pleasant and kind people I have met. VERY professional and courteous to me, while also being honest, and hard working and skilled and knowledgeable. He had me in and out in under an hour and that was with looking over the vehicle.
