This place tries to scam you out of $$. Do not go there. I made an appointment for 4:30 for a brake job. I left work early, showed up at 4:30 and they told me they were running an hour behind, I should come back in an hour. Again, I made an APPOINTMENT online. I would have appreciated a call letting me know, I would not have had to leave work early and had absolutely nothing to do for an hour. I came back an hour later and they took my 2019 Nissan Rouge for inspection. About 40 minutes later they gave me an estimate for $640 for ONLY rear brake pads and rotors. I knew the rotors needed replacing too, the brakes had been grinding, so I understood this would cost a little bit more than just a brake pad job. Now, I may not be able to change the brakes myself, but I do know how to look up the cost of those parts on AutoZone or a similar website, and I do know a bit about vehicles. I also understand that AutoZone sells aftermarket parts and sometimes there will be a little bit of a discrepancy in price there. That being said I am also 100% sure that it does not cost $640 for rear brakes and rotors on this vehicle. I asked about this and they said I am paying for their “warranty”. The estimate included only $80 in labor costs, the rest was the cost of the actual parts. I told them I know this cost is too much and I would not be getting the service there. I am sure they saw a young woman walk into the store and thought they could take advantage of me and that I knew nothing about cars. I called a close family friend that owns an auto shop about an hour and half away (so not really an option to take the car there) and he confirmed this cost was insane and should be around $450. He advised me to call around and find a new place. The next day I took my vehicle to Auto Lab in Livonia and the completed the job for $465. A difference of almost $200. Does this make sense to you? Because it doesn’t for me. Pictures of both estimates are attached. Again, a small difference in price is understandable from place to place. But a difference of almost 40%? Monro Auto Service tried to scam me out of money. I suggest Auto Lab in Livonia or Plymouth for an honest auto shop that won’t try to take advantage of someone they THINK knows nothing about cars.

These guys are awesome! I had a very unique situation with a wheelchair accessible van that I purchased in New Haven, MI. I drove up here from Central Illinois to purchase the van for my Mom and Dad. After the purchase transaction I noticed a leak in one of the tires once we had gotten to Novi. These guys took care of the leak right away. When I went inside to pay they said, nope, this one is on the house. Thank you guys! My son-in-law has been in there a few times as well and has always had great service!

This place is GREAT!!! I stopped in for a tire patch and assuming I needed brakes. I was ready to shell out money, but really didn’t want to. But after speaking with Roger he assured me my brakes were still good. I left with my tire all patched up and money in my pocket. I’m so impressed with this establishment. Everyone working here kind, patient and honest. I’ve finally found my new service shop!

Saved me! I ran over debris on 96 on my way to Lacrosse practice and got a flat in my brand new Audi. I stopped for roadside assistance and was told I would have a 2 hour wait. I called around to see if I could find som place sooner. It was 6:57 pm at this point and every tire place was closed. I called Monro last minute and they not only answered my call after closing, they waited for me and fixed my flat in less than 15 minutes. PERFECT customer service and I am so appreciative of their help. They saved my night more than they know. It also happened to be my husband's birthday. So thank you very very much for helping me. Will definitely return in the future.

These are the best guys! When I came here, I had just left Discount Tire where I had waited in line for close to an hour, barely able to stand that long with my cane. I just left and drove a short distance to Monro where I had the best customer service experience in a long time. Not to mention that they went above and beyond in taking care of my tire repairs. When I left, I honestly considered going back to Discount Tire and telling everyone in the waiting area to go down to Monro where Chris will take care of them real nice. I've been advertising them to everyone in my circle.

I needed to find an auto shop to mount a tire onto the rim and found Monro Auto Services. Surprisingly, it was inexpensive, and they finished it within 20 minutes. However, one of the mechanics sheered the lug nut lock while mounting the wheel back on. Even though it has been a pain to acquire a replacement key from dealers and auto shops, I'm glad the shop took responsibility for their mistake and offered to reimburse me. Mistakes happen. Just do the right thing to make it right for the customer, and store manager Tony did just that. I haven't received the new key socket yet, but I will update this review once I get the notification.

George was very cordial and helpful. I called looking for a same-day appointment they took me immediately and made sure to get me on my way as quickly as possible. Also diagnosed a check engine light for me and was upfront and honest about it not being a serious issue.

Set an appointment online with a quote for 4 new tires around $850. Arrive and am told by manager Anthony M the actual price is closer to $1300. Anthony wasn't rude but he was far from friendly/respectful. In Monro's defense the quote said tax and other fees not included, but $500 more? Anthony didn't offer a different set of tires or to budge a cent. Really seemed like he could care less and said this happens a lot. 0/10 would not recommend. My advice - go across the street. Got better tires for the same price of Monro's original quote out the door. Friendly/respecful service too which is always a plus!

My tire was leaking air so I went to Monro without an appointment. The manager, Seth E. Told me they were working on a couple vehicles but would get to me next. I went to waiting area which was clean, comfortable and well stocked with children’s activities. A few minutes later Seth said he found a screw in my tire and could patch it. When he was done I asked how much it cost and he said it was free. I have never been there before but I am definitely going back. The dealership wanted 32.00 to fix it and I bought my car there. I appreciate this place with a manager with integrity and great service! Highly recommend.

I'd like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to George! I had a slow leak in my tire, and the D Tire across the street insisted me to buy a new tire. I was already told by the roadside assistance that my tire is still fine and do not fall if they want to change my tire. I'm glad I brought it to Monro - George inspected the tire quickly and took it inside. He fixed it and didn't even want to charge me! I only insisted because he saved me a few hundred bucks! I will recommend this place to everyone. They do business with a heart! Thank you George!

On my way home from Novi with my family, we ran over construction debris and a bolt became lodged in our tire. We live an hour away and we were in a bind to find a fix. We saw that Monro was open and close to our location and was able to get there before we had a flat. What incredible service! We were in and out in 10 minutes and our tire was as good as new. The gentleman that took care of us was incredibly polite and generous. I was stunned because it's rare to get this level of quality service. You're a life saver. I can't thank you enough!

I honestly wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Chris and Seth are absolutely amazing and have taken care of 2 of my vehicles over the last year. As a woman I am always skeptical about auto shops recommending things I don’t know anything about or don’t need, but I never had to worry about that here. They not only took care of everything I needed in a timely manner, but they even provided me with education on things I didn’t understand. When I bought a used truck they did an inspection of the truck that has seemly been completely accurate a year later. I highly recommend this shop for all your auto shop needs!! Thank you Chris and Seth for looking out for me this past year. I truly appreciate you!

I highly recommend Monro Auto Service. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Chris. We noticed some grinding on our brakes and I immediately called and Chris was able to fit me in the day of! We ended up with new brake pads and rotors and the work was completed on the day of the initial appointment! He was kind, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Chris and Monro Auto Service! I still owe you my famous chocolate chip cookies!

Had to bring my tires here from another monro. I had gotten them off amazon and had them delivered at the Farmington location and they couldn’t do it so I brought them here. Manager was nice but they ended up breaking a lug nut on the wheel and basically the stud had to be repaired. I had one already broken and they broke a second one. They installed 3/4 tires and I had to take my car to a mechanic for the last wheel since Monro couldn’t fix it and they told me I could come back next week and they would fix it since they would have a mechanic then. I can’t drive on 3 lug nuts out of 5 for a week so I paid a mechanic to do it and have my the last tire installed. I assumed a tire place would have all the tools and personnel to fix anything tire related but I guess not. Giving 2 stars not 1 because the staff was friendly and 3 out of 4 tires they put on after one lug nut was stripped took 40min - 1 hour which is not fast but it wasn’t slow either. I know for a fact I am never going to another monro again.

This place is the real deal! Tony took care of a tire issue caused by another service place in the area, saved me a great deal of trouble and money, even stayed open late for me ♥️ Since then he replaced my exhaust pipe for me, always treats me kindly and respectful and is very reasonably priced. 10/10 for me!

Avoid this place at all costs... I Bought a Groupon for an oil change and tire rotation. They told me my car needed full synthetic instead of synthetic, (not true) and that it would be an additional $75 for the oil change! Then they took about an hour and a half to do the oil change and they didn't even rotate my tires......

Paid for a 4-wheel alignment, but they refused to provide before-and-after measurements, claiming the printer was ‘broken.’ Nicole said he would email me the report, but after two days, still nothing. How do I even know the work was done? No transparency, no proof—just took my money and sent me on my way. Avoid this place if you want a shop that actually backs up their work.

It was a good service until the woman answering the phone tried to lie to me in order to get me to go out of my way in order for them to profit. She said she was “going to look and see if there are any open tomorrow” and then said “the closest ones are also closed tomorrow.” That was a blatant lie in order to get me to set the appointment for a day that didn’t work for me instead of just going to another service. THE AUDACITY. I will not be going here at all now. There is one open tomorrow that is only TWO MILES AWAY. Lie to someone else, sugar.

This place is a complete joke lately. We used to receive wonderful service from Antoine but I do not know where he went. We took our car in Friday for a flat tire and a dead battery, which was under warranty. We called Saturday for an update and they said it was ready to go. We get there to pick it up and they never addressed the tire and told us we owed $290. Dave apologized for the miscommunication and said he would . Monday we go to pick it up again and find a huge dent on it and the door is making a popping noise. It was absolutely not like this when we dropped it off. It looks like they left the door open and it caught on the lift and bent backwards. This car has other damage where it was hit 2 years ago....if we were going to try to lie, why would we not try to blame them for all of the damage?? They are absolutely refusing to assume responsibility for it and Dave was extremely rude to my husband telling him to leave the shop and he needed to take his car (he was there by himself so how would he drive 2 vehicles). This is our daughters car who was diagnosed with cancer and lupus within the last year. How they can sleep at night knowing they caused this damage and now we have to deal with it is beyond me. Also, we saw none of the same workers that were there last time we went a month ago so that is a red flag to me. Where did everyone go?? Dave's attitude was horrible and I would never recommend anyone to go to this place. If they make this right, I will absolutely update my review. If it is not updated, they did not help in any way. Updated 06.06.19- Monro left their comment on my review and I have tried to contact that person numerous times with no return call. An adjuster came to look at the vehicle the day after I posted this review. They said someone would contact us the Tuesday after memorial day to give us an update. I have also left numerous messages for that person with no return call. They just drag the whole process out hoping you will give up. I will not. They damaged our vehicle and I expect them to make it right.
