Drove into Durand Automotive Center unannounced without a reservation, waited about 5 minutes, another previous inspection was being done. They then took my keys, tested my car, passed and was on my way all less than in 10 minutes after my arrival time. Lady who performed test was welcoming and very pleasant. It was a quick and excellent experience.

Charged me $150 to diagnose what I already said was wrong with my car. They then charged me another $40 for keeping my car overnight with no heads up or nothing. Took them 10 hours for the work they did which was LITERALLY NOTHING. Don't even get me started with the estimates they gave me after all the prior bs.

Brought my F-350 in for a simple wheel alignment, refuse to do the alignment stating that my truck needed new ball joints new tie rod ends a possible gearbox and wheel bearings, the truck had all four ball joints replaced along with the tie rod ends and the wheel bearings one month prior to me bringing in there for the alignment, when I confronted them about this along with the receipts did they change their tune very fast the customer service rep then tells me the tech thought he felt some play and recommends replacing everything to the tune of almost $5,000 avoid this place like the plague they are scam artists all they're looking for is the quick Cash grab took my truck to the Ford dealership and had them do another inspection on the front end low and behold the dealership could not find a single thing wrong with the vehicle...... I will be contactin the better business bureau in the morning

With exception to cracking/breaking the button on my gear shifter, not disclosing it to the manager nor myself the work that was done appears good (as it had in the past). After informing the manager that the button was broken, and had never been a problem in the past, and after the manager consulted with the owner, the business refused to fix what their technician broke. It was ASSUMED that it had broken before even though the manager stated that the technician said “it came off in my hand”. The business chose to take the word of their technician over mine - the technician never reported that the button broke. I found it sitting in the pocket of my truck as I prepared to leave. So much for “the customers always right” or doing what is feasible or reasonable to keep your customer experience optimal. I was told that part would cost less than $200 - I had already spent $1300 on their repairs and winterization. I asked about their protocol or documented policy for damage to customer property, the manager didn’t know if they had one and never followed up to provide one. It seemed to me a small price to pay to fix what their technician broke and have a satisfied returning customer. I’m thankful that their technician’s carelessness did not damage something more costly as I fear how that would have played out. I will think twice before doing business with DURAND AUTOMOTIVE again or making any further recommendations.

They say emissions is until 5 PM. They change it on the whim, constantly poor service. Was already there and waiting and then just said we are not doing anymore tests, when they just got doing one, watch them walk back in and hand the test papers back to the other customer

I had a very positive experience. The car required extensive brake work. Parts had to be ordered, which took time, but I was updated regularly. So far everything seems great. I will definitely return and will recommend Durand Automotive.
