Very friendly always available and responds quickly...they kept my truck an extra week but only to ensure everything was working correctly very reasonably priced and was even taught more information about my f250 couldn't have asked for a better business or mechanics

THIS PEOPLE ARE THIEF'S!. I got referred to this shop and they only take cash, Once they got my car almost fixed they stopped answering my calls. I kept calling and asking for Vicki and she was never there or returned my calls. NOW AFTER NEVER RETURNING MY CALLS FOR OVER 4 MONTHS THEY PUT A LIEN ON MY CAR !.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEOPLE.

Do not take your car to them they are crooks you send it in for one thing they say another unprofessional mechanic I will never deal with them again I sent it in for a timing chain they say the transmission slipping when I know nothing was wrong with my transmission so how you transmission when you suppose to be doing a timing chain because when they came got it I just got done driving it and nothing was wrong with my transmission

I live in Gulfport MS. and I had flown to Atlanta to pick up my daughter and son-in-law car that had been shipped there from his last base in Sicily. As I got underway the car started to over heat so I stopped at Advanced Auto Brandon helped me find a mechanic at 4:30- 5pm that would help me because I had to get home before 6am to take care of kids and my parents doctors appointments. Without hesitation PeeWee at Dykes said sure send her over. I was relived and worried cause I only had a few dollars cash and a small budget for the trip and an after-hours service could have been a lot more!! He worked his magic got me back on the after sacrfing his time and I say that because he only charged me what I had in cash which was a few dollars less then he asked for and still wasn't enough to cover his time. To wrap it up I made home it home safe and sound because of a few people who cared more about helping another person, me than what they may be giving up! So I say to you, don't judge a book by it's cover and if you need any work done go see Dykes Automotive at 2315 Poplar Street in Opelika, Alabama. I spent a great bit amount of money for an elderly to get their car fixed . They gave me the run around ... I feel I was scammed out of money. They have the worst customer service . I will not recommend anyone to come here .

I will never go back to them again.I took my truck to them this morning at 8 and dropped it off for a easy 2 hour fix.when I called they never answer the phone.so when I went back this evening at 4:00 my truck was still in the same spot and the head guy was sitting in a customer truck not fixing anything..they are 🚮AF.

This company is terrible.!!!!!!! Think it over several times before calling them to do anything. They are rude, nasty, and flat out unprofessional. They don't keep proper records of what happens before, during, or after a service is provided. They answer the phone by just saying dykes with no introduction of who you are speaking with and no friendliness at all. The so called owner, named Vicki, tries to have such a bad attitude that she just sounds ignorant. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, I reported them to the BBB!!!!!!

Warning!!!!!! Those people are worst than shade tree mechanics!!!!!! They did a transmission job on my car, and didn't even put transmission fluid in it. Vicki, who is part owner, and works the front desk, is sooooooo unprofessional. She will tell you, she will call you when your car is ready. But she never do. She lies and tell you that your car is being worked on, when in reality, it's just sitting there in the same spot where you left it. Every time they kept my car to work on it, they kept it for 3 weeks to a month before they even looked at it. My motor, transmission and water pump are under warranty with them, but they can rip it to shreds. They don't deserve not one star, but I had to give it, just so I can write this post. I WILL NOT EVER take my car back to them!!!!!!! U have been warned!!!!!!!!!!!

My experience with Dykes is nothing like the reviews. They are very busy because they are the cheapest Tow Trucking business in town. They understand business( if your rates are reasonable, you'll get more business). Anywho, I took my 2015 nissan altima to Lynch Nissan and they stated I needed a transmission, catalytic converter and the manifold was cracked. Dykes was the tow company and little to my surprise, they fix cars. Vicky was VERY professional and so helpful. She found me a used transmission, quoted me for the transmission and catalytic converter. Dykes repaired my car and it is on the road. Whew, I have NOTHING bad to say about this business. I am grateful they were there when I needed them. They were straightforward, honest and transparent throughout the repair process. Thanks Dykes and especially, Vicky.

The only reason they are getting a star is because i want to write this review, if i could give negative stars i would. Whatever you do never bring your car here, only thing they good for is towing, I’m more mad at myself that i didn’t look at these reviews before hand, trust me every horror story on here is true! They will hold your car and vicki will lie to you everyday that it’s getting looked at but it hasn’t been touched!
