I wanted to surprise my Dad with tints on his truck for his Birthday (on Labor Day weekend of all times but it was the only time I could sneak his truck away) and Golden Star was the ONLY shop in Metro Detroit who could help me out. I drove an hour to get to the shop and it was very worth every minute of the travel time! You know you are dealing with a top notch tint shop when you ask about ceramic tint and you find out they ONLY use ceramic tints. Daniella was awesome, the staff were great, their German Shepherds were such good pups... and they were so freakin' fast! I barely had time to go grab a drink and a snack from the attached gas station and they were done! They also have a great seating area outside to chill while you wait. Cannot recommend this place enough. I would give Golden Stars Auto Glass more stars if I could. I'll be definitely be coming back.

Went to get a leak in my car resolved (waiting for results) The experience was lovely. Best part was that I wasn't even bored waiting. Not only that they finished the job quick I also got to play with one of their dogs which I think is a very nice touch. I would definitely come again if my car had issues

A mobile auto glass repair person I initially contacted referred me to Golden Star Tint & Auto Glass, and I’m so glad he did! The glass had to be replaced as a quarter size chip resulted in a crack extending from it. The owner was upfront telling me the price, which was reasonable, and the replacement was done in just an hour. The receptionist, Rita, was also very kind and accommodating. In addition, I learned that they replace windshield wipers at a price that is cheaper than purchasing those parts from auto supply stores. I’m going there from now on! The experience I had there was very pleasant and informative. I would recommend Golden Star Tint & Auto Glass!

Been coming here for the last 15 years, Ray takes care of me like family. He just replaced the windshield on my Mercedes W-2 12 and I couldn’t be happier. It was so complex and so difficult to do watching him remove the sensors. I didn’t know my car had so many features until Ray pointed it out to me. Must see go to spot for all your glass needs.

Brought my car in for 5% all around with a sun strip and couldn’t be happier. The guy was super chill, professional, and knew exactly what he was doing. Dropped the car off while he was busy and he still took his time with it no rushing, super clean work. Tint came out perfect, no bubbles, no flaws.
