Superb service!! I've had my car worked on at Gouty's multiple times, and have never had any issues. They dont try and sell you on parts and services that you don't need. They are honest, dependable, and affordable. I highly recommend Gouty's for your automotive needs.

Awesome service! They contacted the tow company to have my car brought over same day and were even able to fix it sooner than expected. Ron was very helpful and had great communication. I will definitely be a returning customer.

They fixed my car. Which was great. However they charged me $1800 to change my 4 brake pads, 2 rotors, 2 air filters, an oil change and a new gas cap. I don’t know much about cars so I agreed, now I regret it. The Uber rider on the way to pick my car up told me her husband calls them Goujy’s and for good reason. It’s a shame they have to rip people off to get business.

I've gone to Gouty's for years and I'm always satisfied with the service. They have kept all of my vehicles, foreign and domestic, running correctly. We currently have them look at our electric Leaf and our plug-in hybrid Volt and they service them as well with no issues.

First Rate Customer Service! My daughter's old Subaru needed a lot of work before we could pass it down to her brother. Kevin at Gouty's was fantastic to work with. He took the time to call me (halfway across the country) and explain in detail everything that needed to be repaired. When I asked about additional maintenance items, he said that they looked fine and recommended no action at this time. When the car was finished, he again personally called me and listed what had been repaired. He took the time to answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend this business.

Took my SUV in for a check engine light. The guys at Gouty's serviced my vehicle & found several important issues that needed serviced. My warranty covered the majority of the problems. I came out of pocket for a couple parts but the price & service was very affordable. I would definitely recommend Gouty's for their professionalism & quick service. I got my SUV back the same day. I'm very pleased!

My wife and baby were in the NICU and of course the alternator went out the day before I could bring my family home. They got me scheduled and back on the road in 24 hours. My family and I are greatful for their outstanding service.

We had to back out of service because the itemized recipient had some parts that were at 200% mark ups or more. Then when we went to fix our radiator ourselves we found they didn't put the drain plug back in our radiator. I have friends that have had good luck with them when they provide their own parts but our experience was awful.

Thank you all for your continued dedication to excellent service. Every necessary current and possible future repair was listed and fully explained to me by Tim and put in the order of importance. This is very important to me because I am trying to keep a 26-year-old car running. The mechanics there understand the necessity of conservation of resources in today's economy, and I appreciate it very, very much!! Every time I bring my vehicle here, I know you will be thorough, I won't be overcharged, and I can be confident that my car is healthy and safe to drive. You are much appreciated!

They have the best pre-purchase inspection service. Saved me several thousand dollars by not purchasing a vehicle from a dealer. Very professional staff. Honest and great communication. Thank you. 😊

I cannot put into words on how helpful they were! I recently had a bad experience at a different shop that I used to frequent. A couple weeks later I was having a separate issue with my old SUV. I chose Goutys based on great reviews and so happy I did! Tim was very patient with me on explaining everything; the process, timeline, and costs etc. They were able to repair the issue, and a few other things I threw at them, within a day. They even uncovered some issues with the previous work I had done at a different shop and recommended me to reach back out to them. I was nervous about doing so and Tim walked me through on exactly how I should word it to them and why. No one likes being charged for car repairs but today I felt well taken care of!

EDITING REVIEW AN HOUR LATER AFTER GOUTYS RESPONSE: LEFT MY PREVIOUS REVIEW IN QUOTES BELOW, WITH GOUTYS RESPONSE ALSO QUOTED. GOING FROM 3 STARS TO 1. WOULDNT EVEN GO HERE FOR AN OIL CHANGE NOW. They're trying to save face in the reply by saying it wasn't the hose, but it was the metal hose? I'm not stupid, I know how cars work and it's a quick look at my estimate to show what they were replacing. They wanted to replace everything but the rack, which after my dad got into it was able to tell was the actual problem. Im replacing the entire power steering system now instead of just the pump and hoses (metal and rubber) as suggested. I also don't know why they're saying I never told them about the brakes, it is true when I made an initial appointment I did not know that there was a brake issue, bc I bought a broken down car from a friend and hadn't driven it before. But I called when I got it there by tow truck and told them that there was an issue with my brakes that was pretty obvious as the rear wheel wouldnt move when they were getting it on the flatbed. Id think if the back brakes were that bad you'd look tell me about the front ones too bc there was no way I was getting it safely off the shops lot with only back brakes lol. MY INITIAL REVIEW: "I ended up having my car looked at but not worked on, as i couldnt afford the 3k price tag to redo my rear brakes and some power steering components. I will say I priced out all of the parts with NAPA and the markup for all the parts was fair, but since my car is 15 years old it makes more sense for me to get cheaper aftermarket parts than to do the OEM they were selling me. Glad I made that choice to have my ex-mechanic father look at it instead because my dad got under the car and realized my front brakes were completely shot as well and needed redone, and that the actual problem with my power steering is the power steering rack and not the hoses and pump like i was told. It is harder to get to that power steering rack of the car than the hoses and goutys probably would have realized when taking apart the power steering stuff, but im more upset they didnt say anything about the front brakes as they're so bad my dad noticed it immediately and I told them there was a very obvious issue with the back brakes youd think theyd check the front ones real quick. I would trust Goutys to do some more simple repair work and maintenance for sure but Ill have to try somewhere else if I have more serious issues again as my dad is getting too old and too sick with his diabetes to be doing this stuff anymore." GOUTYS INITIAL RESPONSE: "Hannah, unfortunately your car was is such bad shape it needed more work than what you initially brought it in for. (No start issue which was just a loose battery terminal and a power steering leak which was the steel lines to the rack) We were never asked to look at the brakes, we just let you know the brake pedal went to the floor and the rear lines were in fact dumping brake fluid. Unless your father in law has a rack to raise the vehicle, he can not see the two steel lines on your rack and pinion that are in fact leaking and need replaced, not just hoses. Unfortunately with all the major repairs needing done all at once instead of being taken care of individually the bill was quite high, but a lot of work needed to be done. Thank you and if you have any questions feel free to contact us."

Great honest shop. Took one of our vehicles in because it was overheating. They got it taken care of same day for a more that fair price. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a shop so far. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for fair prices, quick service, and quality work.

Highly recommend taking your car here if you're in the 07! I had the oil changed on my 2014 CR-V here a couple months ago and the cost was very reasonable. It was less than $100, they did my oil, topped off my fluids, and looked over my car to see if there were any issues. They'd even found the oil leak I had been dealing with for a year and gave me a quote to fix it! Most recently, though, I was able to afford new tires. My budget was $700 at most. I checked Sam's Club and Discount Tire, couldn't find anything that met my requirements or could be delivered sooner than a week. I called Gouty's and the kind man who does front desk duties gave me a quote perfectly within my budget for some Mastercraft Stratus tires, installed and rotated! They ride significantly quieter and smoother than anything else I've gotten from Discount Tire. All in all, everyone I've talked to that's worked here is super kind and knowledgeable. They've been here a long time, so you know they've gotta be doing something right. (Also, they've got pictures from ~50 years ago of a couple parts of town to compare and contrast in the sitting room!) Thank you Gouty's!

Service was great! Owner Tim explained my repair need for my vehicle, took care of current car repairs & gave me an estimate on other needed repairs. As a woman, new in town. I felt very pleased with Tim's taking time to explain needs & priority I should use in choosing the order of repairs. Comfortable making them my regular Mechanics . Thank you for your Service!

New customer, but a committed customer! We were dreading the secondary air injection system repair on a 2008 Subaru Forester; but the expertise at Gouty’s was unmatched! COMMUNICATION: They made scheduling easy—even during the busy holiday season—and called promptly with a transparent, reasonable estimate. I felt informed every step of the way. INTEGRITY: This is what really won us over. The final bill actually came in UNDER the initial estimate. We really appreciated that level of honesty. Quite refreshing. SERVICE: The team was kind, patient, and instructive. They didn't just fix the car; they took the time to explain the process and answer our questions. We’ve officially found our new regular mechanic! (Fingers crossed they work on Pacificas, too! 🤞)
