K&K Autos; unethical, rude and uncaring crooks. Here is my story: I took my almost new infiniti to them for inspection. I had checked all lights etc; they failed it saying my driver side low beam does not work. I told them not to fix my car for I had heard about their unethical practices. I took the car to another mechanic, who put back an unplugged wire and the car was fixed. I went back to K&K for re-inspection paid another $26.00 and they passed the car. Then I went to MDOT, after 4 hours of waiting, when MDOT started to process the registration, they realized an error, the win number was wrong by one digit. Staff at MDOT advised me to call the and ask them to correct it. I called them back to fix and reissue inspection report They did nothing. Two hours later I drove to them to get the error fixed; the owner (a rude lady) say “oops” the inspector is on lunch break so you have to wait. I waited one hour, the guy did not come back even though his break was for 30 minutes (I think he was working inside) The lady said why don’t you go home, I will call you when he comes back. She never called. One hour later I called back, she said “he just walked back, let me talk to him.” I drove back and wanted to get the corrected inspection report; this time she said, we can’t re-issue the report, and if we can, we don’t know how. I waited another 30 minutes and when I insisted on getting an answer – “She rudely shouted back “You are not my only customer, so go home and we will call you when we can.” To this I said, if you can’t even tell me when?, or if ever I will get the report, can you please refund my money, so that I can go somewhere else. To that she said, “I am not going to return your money – no matter what – now get the f... out of here.” The moral of the story, they are crooks, they will fail your car to make $92.00 per hour for diagnostics and then repair, and if you refuse to get the repair, they will create some mischief like put a wrong win number and will not correct it till they run out of customers. So; please be advised, no good can ever come out of dealing with them – go somewhere else.

I went here to have my turbo looked at and hopefully changed. After four days they finally looked at my car. They proceeded to tell me nothing was wrong and that they couldn’t get it to act up. So they charged me $88 to tell me it is cold outside (which is not the problem). I then went to get my emissions test and it failed because of true turbo. So now I’m out $88 four days on a rental and nothing to show for it. I was told there was a ‘service bulletin’ about ice build up on the turbo...so I called the dealership and they said that no such ‘service bulletin’ exists. They then told me trust they wouldn’t be able to look at the car for basically two weeks and they were not very dedicated to getting my business. All around bad experience. Customer service was ok, but I think they had other projects and unfortunately I was bottom of the list. Still, you do not charge someone and tell them nothing is wrong when there is clearly something very wrong. Not happy with my experience.
