K&K Autos; unethical, rude and uncaring crooks. Here is my story: I took my almost new infiniti to them for inspection. I had checked all lights etc; they failed it saying my driver side low beam does not work. I told them not to fix my car for I had heard about their unethical practices. I took the car to another mechanic, who put back an unplugged wire and the car was fixed. I went back to K&K for re-inspection paid another $26.00 and they passed the car. Then I went to MDOT, after 4 hours of waiting, when MDOT started to process the registration, they realized an error, the win number was wrong by one digit. Staff at MDOT advised me to call the and ask them to correct it. I called them back to fix and reissue inspection report They did nothing. Two hours later I drove to them to get the error fixed; the owner (a rude lady) say “oops” the inspector is on lunch break so you have to wait. I waited one hour, the guy did not come back even though his break was for 30 minutes (I think he was working inside) The lady said why don’t you go home, I will call you when he comes back. She never called. One hour later I called back, she said “he just walked back, let me talk to him.” I drove back and wanted to get the corrected inspection report; this time she said, we can’t re-issue the report, and if we can, we don’t know how. I waited another 30 minutes and when I insisted on getting an answer – “She rudely shouted back “You are not my only customer, so go home and we will call you when we can.” To this I said, if you can’t even tell me when?, or if ever I will get the report, can you please refund my money, so that I can go somewhere else. To that she said, “I am not going to return your money – no matter what – now get the f... out of here.” The moral of the story, they are crooks, they will fail your car to make $92.00 per hour for diagnostics and then repair, and if you refuse to get the repair, they will create some mischief like put a wrong win number and will not correct it till they run out of customers. So; please be advised, no good can ever come out of dealing with them – go somewhere else.

I went here to have my turbo looked at and hopefully changed. After four days they finally looked at my car. They proceeded to tell me nothing was wrong and that they couldn’t get it to act up. So they charged me $88 to tell me it is cold outside (which is not the problem). I then went to get my emissions test and it failed because of true turbo. So now I’m out $88 four days on a rental and nothing to show for it. I was told there was a ‘service bulletin’ about ice build up on the turbo...so I called the dealership and they said that no such ‘service bulletin’ exists. They then told me trust they wouldn’t be able to look at the car for basically two weeks and they were not very dedicated to getting my business. All around bad experience. Customer service was ok, but I think they had other projects and unfortunately I was bottom of the list. Still, you do not charge someone and tell them nothing is wrong when there is clearly something very wrong. Not happy with my experience.

STAY AWAY THEY ARE A SCAMMMM!!!! These people told me my alternator was perfectly fine after I took it out myself and took it in to get bench tested. I took it in to get looked at to find out what the real issue was. They called me a week later and told me my alternator needs replaced and charged me 200$ for labor even though it was there fault. They just want your money and will charge you for any extras they can. Stay away they will charge you unnecessarily!!!!!

Awesome service. Saved me almost $400 for on a repair that the dealership wanted to charge $680 for. Thank you K & K! They also let me know the repair should have been under warranty and the dealership should have done it for free. They gave me info to contact Chrysler to potentially get reimbursed.

I was recommended y numerous friends. I took my range rover to K&K to have them fix my ac compressor. I knew you had to disassemble the dash board and some other things. They did an amazing job. It's very hard to work on a range rover but they ha e great mechanics. I also had some interior upholstery done at a near by shop. I had to pay half up fron and half when the job was complete. Not only did K&K go get the pieces I had upholstered they paid for it and installed it for me.

My opinion most honest repair shop in Frederick. On multiple occasions I have brought vehicles to them for repair and I have been fortunate that the issues were minor and they charged accordingly. No pressure and no up sell of trying to push flushes or "optional" work. Very satisfied and would recommend.

If I could give it a negative 5 stars I still wouldn’t be satisfied. This place was recommended to me so I took my truck in to get an oil leak fixed and have my squeaking brakes checked. The oil leak was repaired. However I was told that I needed to replace all of my rotors and pads ($1000). The repairs took 3 days to complete. My brakes were squealing worse than before they allegedly fixed them. I brought my truck back twice all to no avail I ended up paying $930 more to another shop to diagnose and fix the problem.

Came for inspection, and found few things need fixing. Paid full at first. And told me to bring it back within 30 days to inspect again, then they said I have to pay other additional charges for the inspection again, which usually for free. Not recommend for inspection place. Not recommended for waiting room, it’s not clean, and not available use bathroom.

I recently took my 8 year old Fiat with 92000 on it to K&K after two local Fiat Dealerships couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I’m thinking that since Fiat is a failed brand that the motivation for dealerships to support it just isn’t there anymore.I called around and K&K‘s quote and engagement of me was better than other local independents. K&K fixed it at 40% of what the dealerships would have charged for the same service if they had bothered to figure it out. K&K is where l’m going for future service.

Don’t take your car anyplace else they have been in our family for years and have always been honest and forward with car issues. If it’s $1 they will try to give it to you for $.80. Everyone here is so welcoming, I am very glad I got my car inspected here. From the first call and on, I have gotten nothing but positivity and kindness. They helped me find a (very hard to find) car part that was needed & overall have been very informative, fast & helpful, which is very different from most shops you go to. I had a left turn signal out and brought my Mazda to the Mazda dealership and come to find out that rodents chewed and destroyed the engine harness and the repair would have been $5600!! :( That would have totaled my car due to age putting it through insurance. I was recommended to go to K&K and they were absolutely the BEST and the cost of repair was less than $500! I would recommend K&K and Junior to anyone and EVERYONE.
