Outstanding Service and Value at Mavis Tires & Brakes - 8421 Dorchester Rd I am extremely impressed with the team at the Mavis Tires & Brakes on 8421 Dorchester Rd. From the moment I walked in, I was met with genuine friendliness and professionalism. I recently had an issue with a damaged lug nut on my front passenger tire. They fixed the problem quickly, and the cost was a fantastic surprise—only $37 (including tax)! This was significantly cheaper than what I would have paid at the Kia Service Center. The technician's attention to detail was excellent: the new lug nut was installed flawlessly and blends perfectly with the rest of the lug nuts on the wheel; you would never know there was an issue! This was my second visit to this Mavis location, and they have definitely earned my business. Highly recommended for honest service and great value!

I came to the Mavis on Dorchester Road by the Publix and experienced some of the most exceptional customer service from the assistant manager named John. John displayed exemplary customer service even while working with Customers who can be pretty challenging at times, with his hard work, commitment, and dedication. Has left an impression on me, so I keep coming back. I spoke with the general manager, who encouraged me to commend him, and I think these moments we capture in customer service are great, and people need to be recognized. Again, John, thank you for showing up and exceeding customers' expectations. I would like to see him trained and develop further to become a future store leader for this company. I believe he can do it.

I came into Mavis with a slow tire leak & the friendly receptionist, John, & team were very helpful and informative. I did have to get the tire replaced, however it fortunately did not cost me too much!! They got the job done quickly and so far my new tire is doing good!!

The front desk guys were very nice and professional. The prices are 20% more than average, plus some charges they don't tell you about upfront. I got an alignment but they couldn't print out the data sheet and they didn't email it to me. They also claim to have done a brake inspection and I know they didnt do it. Lastly they didn't bother to cover the seats and left greasy hand prints all over the place

This is my second visit and I can honestly say I won’t go anywhere else. Both experiences here have been amazing. I came back today to get the remaining 3 tires replaced. Becka assisted me today, and with a very asleep 3 year old in my arms, she asked me to take a seat in order to crunch some numbers and compare prices. She found something within my budget and I can now drive safely with my kids in the car. Having staff that can easily relate to the everyday problems of their customers and find solutions that lift huge burdens will definitely ensure my return for more services in the future. I WAS a loyal customer to another establishment that to my dismay lead me astray 4 years. By happenchance I was lead to call Rebecca after speaking to other Mavis stores (michael and diamond). Her genuine concern and kindness (over the phone) was infectious. I was lost, in the rain and coming from West Ashley. She heard me upset on the phone and near tears, so she met me at a gas station 5 minutes away to help me get to the right location. Upon arrival @ location she presented for me a True example of integrity. I'm amazed we still have individuals that take pride and care with complete attention 2 customer satisfaction . Her awesome team embrace the attitude and example of leadership. There is something special here The team goes above and beyond the norm. Unfortunately this is NOT the case system wide. There is a work ethic that should be mandatory throughout Mavis. I drive 2 the country knowing I'm in good hands.
