I have been going here to get inspection and oil changes for years and decided to let them work on a service engine soon light . Made appt and had work done. SVC LIGHT STILL ON WHEN I PICKED UP MY CAR RED LIGHT. They turned light off, l drove care for half a day and light came back on. Made appt for Monday to have problem fixed they said it was a different code and they would take care of it if l paid l said ok. Dropped car off night before appt, they called next day and said they could not take care of my truck for a week. L went pick my car up and took it to another shop and they said NORTHSIDE did not install original part correct. NEVER GOING BACK, SMILING FACE DOESN'T EQUAL QUALITY SERVICE.

If I could leave a no star review I would. I’ve taken two different cars to this service center and they are now both undrivable. The first time they flushed my transmission. It stopped running within a week. I chalked it up to coincidence even though a trusted mechanic told me transmission flushing causes metal shavings to be released into the transmission inevitably clogging it. Until today I still believed it to be coincidence. This afternoon I took a different car in for an oil change. I looked outside the window this evening to see a massive oil puddle under the car and lo and behold the dipstick is completely clean. I will never bring another vehicle to them again.

I honestly can't say enough great things about Northside ❤ I have been bringing my vehicle there since 2010 and they have been wonderful. When I couldn't start my car and it was stuck in my garage what other company would personally drive over and jump start it. Yup...Northside ❤ LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I would give you 1 million stars if I could. Today I had to bring it in to have an actuator installed in the a/c unit. When they brought it into the shop whatever caused the actuator to lock up freed up and everything started working properly. Now they could have continued on with the repair as quoted for almost $600 but they did NOT! 😇 They came and explained the situation, told me to let them know if it acts up again, didn't charge me after spending a lot of time rechecking the system and holding onto the part in case I do need it. Is Northside one of the best honest repair shops left in the area? Absolutely 100% they are the best!!!

Ive been getting my truck worked on here since 2019 , from Inspections to , upper control arm replacements, today on 7/26/24 I dropped my truck off to get wheel bearings replaced, the owner told me on Monday 7/22/24 that the price would be 550$ because I brought my own parts, I go to pick up my truck this afternoon 7/26/24 and my truck is not on the property upon my arrival , they tell me further that the parts I had were wrong so they ordered some more parts without Calling and discussing it with me first, then proceeded to quote me for 467$ for just one wheel bearing. The owner kept sending everyone except himself to talk to me about the matter, the people that were sent to speak to me and turned their backs to me when I was trying to figure out why the parts I brought were wrong, I will never come back to this business again prior to these new owners but the new owners take advantage of women and do not have proper business Etiquette !!!!! BE WAARRREEEEEEEE I will never come back here again to do anything not even an oil change

Twice I've taken vehicles here only to have them rendered undriviable within 24 hours. 1. Brakes failed after I specifically brought in to have the brakes worked on 2. Transmission failed after a full inspection Bonus: was told that all tires had dry rot and needed to be replaced, even though one tire was replaced recenfly. Twice I've left vehicles there at the very start of the day, only to have to call in right be fore closing (they don't call even though you leave your cell) only to be told that 1.Did not have time to check on the issues I brought it in for 2. Identified a leak but couldn't do anything recently. Would not recommend

Such a wonderful family company! All the staff are wonderful and the manger is amazing! I wish I could give them more then 5 stars. They have fair pricing aswell which is another plus! Highly recommend coming here if your in the area and need your car looked at :)

They are our usual go-to for oil changes on our vehicles when I just don't have the time to do it myself. We also get all of our vehicles inspected there to which we have very little wait(if we get there early). A fine locally owned establishment that treats us fairly!

This is one review I honestly hate to make. This was my trusted mechanic shop since we moved to this area in 2017. All oil changes and maintenance for my vehicle as well as my husband's.were done here. My dad needed brakes and rotors on his vehicle so I recommended them. They did the job the first week of March. He traveled to Burlington that weekend. His brakes started squeaking. My uncle drove the truck and said something was definitely wrong. He had it towed to a shop. They were surprised he made it safely to Burlington since the bolts on the caliber were gone and the pad scraped into the rim at least an eighth of an inch deep. He returned home and I took it to Northside with a lot of questions. One being how could this be missed on the repair. Two how are you going to make it right. 8 weeks later the rim finally got repaired. Two weeks the owner was sick which I understand happens but that's no excuse for the other 6 weeks he waited for the repair. Also, someone should be available to make decisions in your absence in any reputable business. He was refunded the price for the Burlington mechanic (yesterday 5/7/24)but the owner said he could not refund the cost of labor...which I feel was not done. I pray whatever has brought this business down gets reconciled but I will never use there services again. Beware!

I will definitely be coming back whenever I need work done on my car! The whole crew was super nice and seem to go above and beyond for customers, like vacuuming your seats when topping up your fluids. Their lobby is cozy if you have to wait around, all in all it seems like an amazing shop

**UPDATE** after two more times of them telling us our car is fixed and driving there to only drive it for 10 minutes and could tell it obviously is not fixed- the owner told us the transmission needs to be replaced, meanwhile we have not driven this car in over a month and a half by us for more than 5 hours at a time. The transmission was fine when we first brought it here; we know this because they told us this. They now refuse to pay for or fix the transmission. again, we have not driven this car in over a month and a half. This is just disgusting behavior for a long time customer. Will never recommend anyone to come here not even to fix a toy car. I'll change my review when the problem is solved. You guys should really be ashamed since looking at the other one star reviews this issue seems to be VERY common now.. but my sister had her car messed up at a Stricklands brother shop as it was closer to us as we moved but we have been long time customers at this shop and have been helped in many situations before- however this is getting ridiculous. we brought the car here to get the oil seals fixed that were broken by the Strickland brothers that this shop said THEY COULD FIX... flash forward this is the third time we have come here to try and pick up the car they have claimed to fix and now a new issue has occurred that wasn't even there before taking it here... now the car won't change out of the first gear... the past three times we have come to pick it up they say they have driven it and fixed the issue which is OBVIOUSLY a lie because we can't even drive the car in the foodlion parking lot since it will not go more than 10 mph AND makes noises. This is super ridiculous and super disappointing. I really would always recommend this shop but now that they made a brand new issue occur and not even fix the previous issue that they said they could fix along with LYING that they drove the car on 3 separate occasions.. super ridiculous and completely disappointing for being a customer here of 13 years.

Reasonable rates, quality service and more of a one on one interaction with their customers. With no pushy sales that you need additional work done, when it's not needed. Absolutely Amazing Service I recieved from Adam and RJ here. I love this place and it is now the only location where I will be taking my vehicle.
