I have a 2003 Toyota Camry. I have been having a banging / rattling sound coming from the rear of the car, I took the car in to Smart Toyota, paid $100 to have the car looked at. The Toyota tech said he looked it over, test drove it, and said he could not here anything. I took the Camry to Percy's, Jerry checked it out, found the struts were shot, causing the rattling sound. Jerry replaced the rear struts and stabilizer links, it fixed the problem and the Camry ride like new - no rattling / clunking ! The work was done in 1 day and the price $300 less than Toyota quoted for the same type of repair. GREAT JOB JERRY !

Best garage in Madison. Been going there for over 15 years. Fair, honest, and has incredible skill. Jerry will always chase down the cheapest solution to fix your car. Special expertise in VW's and Volvo's, but can work on almost any car. Only downside is that he is so good, he is in such high demand.

I talked to Jerry about working on my 1974 super beetle and he fixed my car and did a super job fixing it at a very fair price. I then bought a 1964 Beetle and he has been great helping me with my questions. Even when he's busy he takes time to help me. I would recommend his shop to anyone needing car repairs. I see a lot of different brands of cars in his shop besides the VW's. Great place.

I'll give 5 stars and more to Percy's Service Station for how attentive and polite the owner is to talk with. We discussed the problems I'm currently experiencing with my old 1991 Dodge Dakota and my knowledge tells me that this place is the real deal and I now need to be going to for future repairs.

Noticed coolant on my garage floor so I brought my car in and was told I needed a new radiator. This seemed fishy to me as the drip on my floor was not even close to under my radiator so I brought it to a different shop for a second opinion and was told my intake manifold gasket was faulty. This should have been replaced by Percy's less than a year ago when he repaired my head gasket so I called 2 weeks ago to see if it was under warranty. Jerry said he'd check and call back the next day. Since that initial call, he hasn't called me once, he has ducked numerous phone calls, he's sworn it was still the radiator even though I have video evidence from the other shop of it being the gasket and that the radiator has no issues, and been completely unprofessional during the few calls I have gotten ahold of him. Today I had to hide my phone number in order to get him to answer. The lack of professionalism is unlike anything I've ever experienced before.

Owner (I assume) seems like a genuine guy who doesn’t try to pull anything to make a quick buck. I was hearing a sound brought on by the cold weather and he listened to my car without charging me and gave me advice if the sound came back. Other shops wanted me to bring the car in all day and charge their full fees. Because of this sincerity, I will bring my car to Percy’s for future work.

I was in architecture school at the time so while I was there I took a picture and sketched the front of the building on Oct. 15 2013 for class.
