Took my truck in for an engine job and got it back a year later in pieces and damaged. Paid for parts that were never installed or used. Spent all that money for nothing. The owner Roy does not return my phone calls. Poor customer service. I do not recommend this shop to anyone.

You cannot say enough when you find a good, honest mechanic. And that's exactly what you get from Roy at Precision Motor Werx. Roy is very knowledgeable, does excellent work, and unlike many other auto mechanics out there, does not charge an arm and a leg! When you meet him, you can tell right away that not only does Roy know cars, inside and out, but that he also enjoys what he does. It was a very good friend of mine that recommended Roy a while back when my car broke down, and my car has benefitted from it ever since.

the best auto shop i could have ever took my car to, outstanding customer service and roy helped me get my car back right, he saved me a lot of money time and best of all stress, very fast service and a great price. this place will be my forever auto shop. fyi other auto shops told me i needed a new engine, i took it to percision and they proved them wrong they saved me 3,000 dollars and my car runs like its brand new.

Exceptional Service and Honesty! I can’t say enough good things about this shop. They offer a convenient shuttle service and are incredibly honest and professional. They took detailed pictures and thoroughly explained the issues with my vehicle. Unlike another shop I visited, which claimed to have fixed the problem but didn’t, these guys truly delivered. There are still good mechanics in this world and Roy is one of them. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. I read other positive reviews about this place and decided to give it a try and I made the right choice. I drive a 2018 Chevy Volt, and because it’s a hybrid, the air conditioning system is critical, not just for cabin comfort, but for properly cooling the battery and high-voltage components. After I unfortunately ran something over and damaged multiple A/C hoses and components, I brought my car here in June and was given a very detailed, transparent estimate and invoice breakdown for everything needed, including the condenser, compressor, refrigerant service, A/C lines, and related hybrid cooling work. Based on what all of this typically costs, these repairs easily could have been in the $6,000–$9,000 range. He quoted me around $4,200. Even with the generous estimate, it took me a few months to save up, and during that time the business was in the middle of moving locations from Convoy to a new spot El Cajon, but Roy still honored the original estimate without hesitation when I brought the car back in December. When I dropped the car off, I mentioned that one of my tire pressure sensors had gone bad since I first got the estimate, and when I picked the car up a few days later, he told me he had replaced all four TPMS sensors free of charge. He did all of this while relocating his shop and right before Christmas. I picked the car up on December 23. The work was done quickly, professionally, and with integrity. This mechanic could have charged me an arm and a leg, but instead he went above and beyond. I truly cannot recommend him enough—he has a customer in me for life and I will be telling everyone I know to go here. Thank you, Roy! I pray God blesses your business abundantly!
