Customer service and TLC for your vehicle is the best here. My first time bringing my car here and I was not disappointed. I’m skeptical about where I go because my car is newer and I’ve had bad experiences elsewhere. It’s hard to find a thorough and trusting car wash. They hand dry, as well! They went above and beyond for some of my requests for my vehicle service. :)

Since I discovered Prestige, it is my go-to full service car wash. Even though it is a little bit of a distance from home with six other car washes en route, I point my cars straight to "George's Place." I always get complete satisfaction at Prestige, with the best quality and value available. Thank you very kindly!!!

I have been here 5 times. For a basic wash and vacuum. The first time they did an excellent job they got the inside extremely clean the outside as well. The second time they did not as good a job not excellent just okay. There were still some bird droppings on the car on the outside and the inside didn't look as well vacuum as before. The third time was a horrible job and so therefore I am not coming back. For $25 I expect it to be clean in the inside and the outside. The third time I had to go and vacuum it again myself. * Update*. The manager contacted me and offered me a free wash and vac. They did a good job the outside was very clean they even put shiny stuff on my tires but the inside was just not as good as the first time I ever came here. I came back again a month later and it was the worst job yet of me coming there which was the fifth time. The inside didn't look like it had been vacuumed it didn't look like it had been wiped at all there was dust everywhere they left streaks all over the inside of the windshield with reflected in the sunlight and I couldn't see. I ended up having to go vacuum and wash the car again myself after paying them to do it professionally. I don't know why they're so inconsistent with their service but the best service I got was back in April. I go back once a month and since then unless the manager tells them to do a good job they don't do a very good job. I also drive over 8 mi out of my way to get there from point Loma.

I did 89.99 hand wax detailing. But my car wasn't clean. Because look at the picture. Why are the dirty stains still there? Have you ever not seen it while using wax? Or is it because it's annoying to clean again? The staff negotiated a $10 discount like something special. So I had a hand wax. and Wipe Dash & Console are also included, but not clean at all. How much do I have to pay to get a clean car? 80 dollars not enough?I'm also doubtful that the hand wax was actually done.

After a early downpour this morning, I wanted to take my truck to get a wash. I just recently finished a two and half day drive across the country from the east coast. My truck was covered in dirt and bugs. I went to a place that I frequent normally and they were closed because of the early morning forecast. I'm so happy that I had to search for a new place. After two more failed attempts I landed on Prestige. Man was I happy to see a place actually open. I went for their 'hand wash' option. I was pleasantly surprised at the detail and cleanliness in such a quick turn around. They finished my entire truck inside/outside with a wax in under an hour. This is certainly my new go to spot when I need a good detail done. If you are in the San Diego areas this is a must try.

Couldn’t be happier with prestige... i called and they were extremely helpful over the phone- drove over during lunch and had a friend bring another one of my cars. I showed up and they recommended a silver and platinum service wash. All done by hand and it came out perfect. They treated my classics extremely well and with care. I’ll be back for sure.

I found Prestige in 2019 and I’m flabbergasted each and every time by how good of a job they do. I am the proud dog mom of two shedding, drooling four-legged baby girls and my car is always proof of that. My car sat unused for 19 months until I got her back on the road last month, June 2025. The first thing I did was take her to Prestige and get her all prettied up. Over the years I’ve gotten several services and it is always worth the money. One of the best detail jobs I’ve gotten on any of my cars was done at Prestige. At the time the cost was about $130 or so and they did the entire interior too. I didn’t find a single speck of dog fur inside the car when they were done and that is an amazing feat! Most recently I got mini exterior detail and after almost 2 years the service and the value is still fantastic! Prestige, keep up the excellent work!

Okay, first off, I have to start this review by saying that George, Francisco, and the entire Prestige staff truly run the best car wash and auto shop in San Diego! ​My boyfriend and I have been loyal customers for a few weeks now, and every single time the service has been absolutely excellent! Plus, all the staff are always so welcoming and kind, they make you feel like family. ​Our last visit we got an oil change, new tires, and a full car detail...The car came back looking incredibly good that we were so excited, and even more when we saw the final bill lol 🤣 considering everything they did for us! Highly recommend!

I brought my brand-new, black truck to this car wash and specifically explained—in detail—what needed to be done (and NOT done) to avoid scratching the paint. I also clearly told them the truck had a $2,800 ceramic marine coating that had just been applied. They acknowledged everything and assured me they I had nothong to worry about. The result? Severe scratching and coating damage all over my truck. The exact thing I warned them about happened. When I confronted them, instead of taking responsibility, they refused to issue a refund and tried to shift the blame by saying they “don’t know if it was scratched already because it was dirty when I brought it in.” That excuse is ridiculous—a dirty truck is the entire reason people go to a car wash, and dirt does NOT excuse improper washing techniques that destroy paint and coatings. This place: Ignored explicit instructions Ruined a high-end ceramic coating Caused visible damage to a brand-new vehicle Refused accountability Offered zero customer service or resolution If you care at all about your vehicle—especially if it’s new, black, ceramic-coated, or expensive—stay far away from this place. I trusted them with my truck, and they treated it like it didn’t matter. Huge mistake. Also, they had to wash it twice after I saw them bring it to the drying rack and still have dirt on it. One of the employees tried to start drying the truck with a dirty Terry cloth while there was still visible dirt left on the vehicle.

I want to start this review by stating I personally think because it was overwhelm hot outside, they decide to rush towards the end of the servicing to be done quicker. That being said, I paid $200 for a service that I can’t even tell you what it’s called because the guy who had given me my ticket initially tried to tell me what I was asking for (a exterior wash and interior detailing of vacuuming and wiping the seats and upholstery) was $500. When I told him I wasn’t doing that, the price changed to $200, to include an exterior wax service.) Cool. I thought we were on the same page. I told him my carpets did not need shampooing since my vehicle is brand new and less than a month old. He verbally told me the carpet floor mats would be cleaned and “shampooed” but since they are rubber I just assumed he meant at least sprayed and cleaned. After 1.5 hours of “waxing” the exterior, (mind you, one single employee worked on my car while every other vehicle had 3-4 people working it) 5 employees stood around my car talking about the wax or something that didn’t work. Rather than explaining this to me, I had to ask an employee walking by, who tried his best to explain it to me, but with there being a language barrier I did not understand what he was trying to say. At the 2 hour mark, he finished waxing the outside. They told me it was ready to go, and after getting in it, I realized no seats were wiped, there were food crumbs all over the floor in the back, the trunk wasn’t touched at all, and all over the exterior of the vehicle were spots of unwiped wax spray, and gunk around the vehicle lettering decals. They almost seemed annoyed when telling me my vehicle was done. I get it, it’s hot, but this ended up not being the experience I was hoping for.

Brought in my 2018 car that has NEVER been detailed and after coming here— I WISH I would’ve done it sooner! I got a full car wash + detail, with seat shampooing. They also pumped air into my tires. It took about an hour total (which surprised me how quick it was), and my car looks NEW. Attaching photos so you can see for yourself! Super friendly staff as well. 10/10 recommend, will be back. Love that they do full servicing as well!
