"BEWARE". I've used Ritter's and sent friends and family. Good service unless they CANNOT fix your issue! The A/C stopped blowing cold. Was told it was compressor. $1,200 later took car home and within 3 days stopped blowing cold again. Took it back, put die in it and when I again returned, I was told he didn't have the proper tools to find the issue. Asked for a partial refund being that I had taken it in to have cold air, and the issue was NOT fixed. I was told to go elsewhere, wouldn't receive any compensation and that I was an "entitled human being". I wouldn't have had an problem if he found the issue and it cost more money, or told beforehand that he could replace compressor but couldn't check for leaks. I understand that sometimes it is a process of elimination with mechanical issues. I don't accept being called names and told to take my car elsewhere. Also how do you run a repair shop replacing an A/C compressor but not have the proper equipment to find the a leak? The facts are: I took my car in to have the A/C fixed. I paid for the service. I still have a car blowing hot air. When I take my vehicle to a repair shop, I pay to have the issue fixed, which it wasn't.
