owner caused a long scratch starting from the passenger site all the way to the back of the SUV and denied it. He got very aggressive, had to call cops. Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

This is a very small family-owned shop. I was looking for a place to have my transmission serviced I do a good job. It has a very good customer rating and and who helped me is very friendly helpful and very proficient at his work.

Had my car changed the starter. STARTER ONLY! After a couple of hours, Ron called and said that my car is done. I got to the shop and shocked with the bill I have to pay. I asked why. He said, he had to do rotation on the engine. I never asked him to service the engine. That was my first and last time going in there. He does something to your car without telling or asking first. You’ll just be surprised if what you have to pay.

Ed (and I'll call him Uncle Steve - who is sometimes there to just help family out at the shop) went above and beyond. My car was initially acting up with 3 indicator lights showing up on the dash when I brought it in. By the next morning when Ed took at a look at it, only the check engine light was on and my car was running fine after multiple test drives. He gave me the list of computer codes and recommended I take it to the dealership because it was likely that the errors could be due to recalled parts. He knew the dealership would need to make those repairs for free which is why he suggested I check with them first. I really appreciate his honestly! On a side note, Ed (whose brother, Ron, started the business years ago) and Uncle Steve have been part of the community for decades. It's clear they really care about Skyway and the South end in general. Just one more reason to continue supporting this local business!

Called to have a crankshaft position sensor replaced. Its literally 1 bolt and I could do it myself if I had a longer ratchet extension. I told them I have the part, asked when could it be done. They told me 3-4 weeks... for 1 bolt. He didnt sound very happy that I knew it was an easy fix as he probly wanted to charge me 100$+and seemed like he just wanted me off the phone. I had been here before but thinking back they likely ripped me off then as well. They suggested my clutch was going out and it needed to be replaced badly. 4 years later I still have the same clutch. All im saying is shop around.

This is the place for a transmission repair. Domestic, Japanese ,European or foreign cars It is several generations family owned business. They are knowledgeable, professional, and treat customers with honesty. ED is the man to connect with here They know & do one thing really good. They know how to do transmission repairs, and they do it very well, at a reasonable price, and in honest way. When you need transmission repairs, and you want good quality workmanship,at a reasonable price, and you don't want to be milked for what you got unnecessary, then it is worth the trip to come to Ron shop. You will save money, by getting the repairs done here,compard to other transmission repairs shops. The surrounding area is very rough,and the parking lot is full, But the quality workmanship ,and the reasonable price make it worthy to bring your loved car here. They are very busy, so it is better use their appointment, and their schedule system. So you don't have to leave your beloved car sitting here unattended Vulnerable until they get to it.

So far I'm waiting for his call for price on timing belt and water pump . Just because I said I have the kit with me he didn't wanted to do it he send me to the corner another shop .Not polite. It is rude to send your neighborhood possibly customer some where else just because I offered I had ordered the water pump kit . He said he orders his own . Mine is made in Japan original parts . I don't understand this shop.

My friend's dad owns the place, so she recommended I go here. They took care of my car fast. Honest diagnostics with honest recommendations depending on your budget, and reasonable pricing. Great communication and friendly! Def coming here for all my maintenance.
