Very friendly. My daughter’s car was brought in for an oil change during the inspection we were told her ball joints needed to be replaced and showed me how they were cracked. We were able to get her car in the next day in a Saturday for the repairs. Yes expensive but what’s cheap these days.

What an exceptional experience. For over 15 years my dad has done all the work on my cars and now that I moved to Arizona, I had to trust someone else to do the work. I was blown away with Andrew’s knowledge and friendly approach. I signed up for services I thought were necessary but he explained why I didn’t need to spend the money on them at this time. Andrew built a relationship on trust and made a lifelong customer out of me. Can’t recommend Sun Devil Auto enough!

I went in for an oil change and they would not honor the coupon they texted me. I showed them the coupon after putting in my card info, before signing for a receipt and I was told it was their policy they cannot honor coupons or do refunds after the fact. I paid double for an oil change because of terrible management. Absolutely ridiculous.

This is my second time going to this location. The splash guard under my car needed repair and they gave me multiple options on how to fix it. They also alerted me about another issue with my car, but told me it was minor and was not in urgent need of repair. I appreciate the upfront honesty, and did not feel like they were trying to push me to buy additional services. The part came in within 12 hours and everything was completed within the time they quoted. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to this shop for years and always had good experiences here. I even left positive reviews in the past-which I’ve now removed-because my most recent visit was a completely different experience. During a routine oil change, I was given a long list of “urgent” repairs that didn’t match the actual condition of my vehicle. A newer technician, Julia Meyer, seemed very eager to make an impression, but several of the issues she flagged as major failures weren’t supported by the photos or by the actual condition of the parts. Items described as leaks, worn suspension components, and failing systems turned out to be normal aging with no real problems. After years of straightforward service, the sudden shift toward aggressive upselling was disappointing. I won’t be returning, and I recommend that customers double‑check any high‑dollar repair suggestions they receive here.

Not sure what the deal was. Went in for a differential fluid change. Somthing ive done myself many times, just didnt want to do it myself this time. 3.4 hours later he saw some sparkles in the oil after removing top plug. Didnt want to explain to him that it was completely normal, nor should I have to. So he didnt want to remove cover becuse he said it might have bigger issues. I didnt want him to remove the cover becuase immediately I wanted to leave and just do it myself. I asked to rotate tires, also not done. Ive had sun devil do work on my truck before at a different location with no problems. I did the diff fluid change this morning. Everything looked great. Absolutely no issues. Still scratching my head why I was in the lobby for 3.5 hrs only to leave with nothing done. I went with sun devil becuase I preffer real mechanics. Clearly this was the wrong way to go about it. Very weird I wasn't in and out with such a simple task. Also didnt get a real explanation on what took 3.4 hours. Just thought id add photos of my oil when I changed it this morning.
