Best team to work on my car at a take 5. I try to only come to this location. They’re more expensive than any other oil places, BUT you GET SO MUCH MORE THAN AN OIL CHANGE. These guys really look at your car for you. They can’t do everything in the shop, but they WILL tell you anything they see that’s off! That’s worth the extra bit of cash in my opinion. These guys know what they’re talking about. 10/10 recommend!

Excellent experience! Great staff! I was on my lunch break, I pull in immediately greeted with a refreshment. They quickly began working on my car, checked my components of car for safety. And through great team communication as a out of there in no time. They had me smiling and laughing through the process. They were smiling, having fun at what that they do, and their work and my experience shows it. Great business model, great leadership, and great staff! Highly recommend!

Took in for oil change and watched them close hood and the bent the prop rod and damaged backside of hood. Kyle the manager tried to hurry and bend back without me noticing. Well I was sitting in the car. Took photos and said he would file a claim and they would be in touch. 3 calls and a trip to the store and nothing. They give all kinds of excuses. Staff got transferred, district manger got fired blah blah blah. If you read the reviews on the bbb site it tells the whole story. They damage your car and leave you hanging. I am filing a measure and contacting the news media. Invoice number 155511 went to Plano road in Richardson on 9/26/2025

I have been here many times and had excellent service, this time however was different. I was waiting for over an hour, which I don’t usually mind if someone tells me “hey just so you know it’s going to be a few minutes/a bit of a wait” or whatever the case is. I guess I just came on the wrong day because usually staff is very friendly but this day they were not. Perhaps they were short staffed? I only got the cabin filter replaced which took no more than 10 minutes and cost $50, I realized I definitely could’ve done that at home for much cheaper. I hope my next trip to take 5 is a better experience.

Awesome Customer Service. 100% improvement since my last visit, last year. I believe in second chances so I stopped by there unplanned from my daily routine and it was late before closing time and he was so kind that there was three people there to help service my vehicle. I had additional work done that was needed but I had not planned. They did a great job and treated me great.

Service personnel were nice, visit went smoothly; however, I went to the parts store to get an air filter after they pointed it out only to find that they left my filter box completely unfastened. None of the clips were connected. This would’ve been a little bit of a problem had I not decided to go change the filter myself. I’m always worried they won’t torque down the drain plug or something like that and turns out it is valid to be suspicious for even simple processes. These guys are not at the level of professional mechanics and a little half hearted.

Quick, easy service. No more than 15 minutes I was here for an oil change, air filter change and tire check. Very kind and professional, had a couple of questions and received answers that explained it simply but thoroughly. Bad experience today. I will not be back at this location. The Tech Troy or Trey was too busy trying to distract me from seeing other techs work on my car. My windshield wiper cap was torn off also extra fees of 5.99, 10.99 were added to my 85.99 oil change. My oil light wasn't reset it was left at 33% which I question was my oil changed. I will go to a different location to check. I was told brake fluid isn't checked at this location. The technician put the wrong air pressure in my tires. All my tires are reading 36 37 39 38 when it should be 35 psi all around. Bad business at this location.

I always have an excellent experience at this take 5. They really take good care of my car and let me know if other services need to be done. No pressure whatsoever.. I think the service guy could tell I was hangry and offered me cookies. Totally made my day. The cookies were so good. One guy even started singing and his voice is so beautiful haha. I do not recommend coming here for an oil change. They completely messed up my service. After my oil change, they did not properly top off the oil, and I left with only about half of the oil my car was supposed to have. I had to go to another Take 5 location to have it corrected. They also claimed they provided a coolant system cleaning service, but when the other location checked, they told me there was basically nothing but water in the system. On top of that, they struggled significantly just to remove the oil filter, which was concerning to watch. Overall, the service was careless and unprofessional. I would not trust this location with my vehicle again.

I took my car here to get an oil change because they offer a decent military discounts. It seemed like it went ok and I didn’t suspect anything negative. A few days later I noticed that there were stains of oil in my driveway. I looked under my car and the plastic sheath protecting the oil filter was full of oil and it splattered to the back of my car due to driving and wind. I took it to the dealership and after diagnosis they said that the oil plug was cross threaded and was not sealing correctly which was leading to the leak. Well 800 dollars later and replacing the oil pan now it’s not leaking anymore. I won’t be back to this place and if you do go just make sure to look over your vehicle once you’re done.
