I cannot say enough good things about this business! I decided to get a second quote from Temecula Transmission after taking my car to Dodge for a few leaks I found on my garage floor. Dodge said I needed over 2 grand worth of work done for these small leaks. After dropping my car off with Temecula Transmission I got a call letting me know my car needed nowhere near that amount of work saving me so much money. This business is honest, knowledgeable, and cares about their customer. Skip the dealership and bring your car into a trustworthy mechanic! Update: Still our number one trusted mechanic! As a woman, it's hard to find a car repair shop that doesn't talk down to you or treat you like you don't know anything. Customer for life!

Normally I don't write reviews but I had to for Eddy and his shop because of how happy I am with the quality of work and customer service I experienced. I brought my '97 Ford F250 with a 7.3 diesel and E40D auto to him when the transmission wouldn't shift in to first or second gear. When I called, he was confident and very reasonably priced. It got even better once I dropped my truck off and met him in person. I typically try to do everything myself, but I know what my capabilities are. Knowing I had to have my transmission rebuilt by a professional, I was worried about who to use. Eddy went above and beyond and had clear communication with me the whole way through. Eddy called me to his shop to show me the breakdown of my transmission before he rebuilt it. He also had great advice on better maintenance and servicing in the future. Eddy also bled my brakes after noticing they were soft. I also had Eddy install an AC filter under the hood and he charged the AC system, which works great now. If you also have any specialty vehicles or classic cars, I would highly recommend using Temecula Transmission- Eddy had a lot of them in his shop. I'm glad to know I have found a reliable and honest mechanic who I trust with my vehicles. Robert A. Radcliffe III UPDATE: My transmission that I was so happy with when I wrote this review blew up on my coming out of Vegas in September of 2022. I called Eddie and he would not take any responsibility. I was under the impression that he installed a billet torque converter but found out that was not true when I had another shop rebuild it again. The other shop also found multiple errors in transmission- parts from a gasoline truck transmission were used in my 7.3 diesel transmission. I was very disappointed when Eddie would not take responsibility...he was nice on the phone, but I was really left hanging and spent over $450 having my truck and car trailer towed home (after insurance paid half!). Just be careful...

I'd like to start off saying I don't trust shops easily. I normally do all my work, but I've come to the point now where its just easier to pay someone to do certain things. I can honestly say I think this shop is absolutely amazing. They are honest, prices are fair, and they do great work. Not to mention they're an awesome mom and pop shop. I have been here a few times and I can honestly say I'm always happy with the work they do. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good, trustworthy shop.

We were referred by a friend when the transmission in our f350 went out. We had a great experience. They were great at communicating and updating us, it didn't take longer than expected or we were told, the total cost was a bit less than other shops quoted us, they ordered quality parts, and were careful to get the job done right. They're also super nice and not pushy at all. It's been 6 months and the truck is still running great!

We took our vehicle to another shop in Temecula who 1) took 4 days to diagnose it and 2) without ever looking at the transmission (because their "transmission guy was out") proceeded to tell us the vehicle had 'locked up' and we needed a new transmission to the tune of $5700! I called Temecula Transmission and Differential for a second opinion and spoke to Tracy who immediately got Eddie on the phone. After a brief conversation we decided to get our vehicle towed over to them (because the other shop said it was not running). Fast forward to Eddie informing me he had driven our vehicle because it had not locked up (so we had it towed unnecessarily), that it was running fine but that a change of transmission gasket/pan/filter was needed. I have shared our experience with this awesome shop with anyone who will listen! Do not hesitate to take your vehicle to this shop! Tracy and Eddie are the absolute best! I am so happy to have found an honest, trustworthy shop who know what they're doing and do it efficiently!

I hope all who see this review really takes stock in it. I have a pretty unique vehicle that I have been building since 2017, and I have dealt with several mechanics that ended up either being crooks or not as knowledgeable as they claimed, so I have ended up spending far more money and time than I should have. Recently I started having some transmission issues and a friend that I trust recommended this shop. I cannot express how pleased I am with Eddie and his family that run this place. From my first contact with them, everything was professional and extremely transparent. The time they spent with me, explaining what they recommended, the problems they found, the available options for the repair, and the time frame of the work was fantastic. They definitely went above and beyond for me. My vehicle is now running better than it ever has, and I am looking forward to bringing them my next project, which is well underway, and I am confident that I will save a ton of money since Eddie will do it correctly the first time. I bought in a 95 Toyota Tacoma in for repair for a suspected differential problem, but the owner quickly ascertained that it was in fact a broken U-joint. Propped it up with a jack and quickly showed me the movement and the noise it was making. Not only did he save me from my own bad diagnosis, but save me money by charging me an honest fee for the repair. In the future, I would not hesitate to bring in my vehicles for repairs, due to his expertise, and honest pricing, and local family owned business. Thumbs up!

Here is my experience. Work done Trans rebuild, C notch rear end, Install new crate motor, air bags all around, and torque converter. Trans leaking since day 1 still leaking. Friends make fun of me because welds look horrific on C notch. Rear air bag fell off doing 80 on freeway ( bolt not tightened the other one was loose too) Had to replace front airbags because bump stops on A arm were not cut off. Airlines too close to headers melted line (droped to ground almost crashed also needed to get towed that day.) I took my truck to a new shop and they informed me airlines where from Home Depot drip line system. He also informed me the $1,700 upgraded Torque converter was stock. Eddie did not want to fix any issues or reimburse time or 3 tow truck rides. Don't have time for court just wanted to warn fellow truck builders. Good Luck. Almost forgot... Crate motor was not warrantied because this shop put on valve covers too small and it was hitting top of cover. Had to pay for new motor build.

I bought a 1965 Mercury Caliente ( Comet) back in November I have a 2010 Challenger but California smog walls have just gotten so ridiculous I'm tired of dealing with them so I went and told the wife going to buy a car 1975 or older so I don't have to deal with smoke I can do whatever I want with it. After a long stay of massive upgrading and makeovers at a day Temecula local hot rod shop they referred me to Temecula transmission as the people they go to to get their transmission work done. I had purchased a gear vendors overdrive unit from El cajon because with 3:47 and the C4 transmission at 8 a.m. pulling 36-3,700 RPM, this brought me down to around 24 to 2500 rpm for same speeds now I have a freeway gear in this awesome car the hard part where to have it installed and who can I trust? Spoke with the owner Eddie who we hit it off right away as he's old army I'm army and definitely Car guys he's been in the transmission business for over 40 I would say 50 years and his son works with them took the cartoon about 2 months later and let me tell you what it is so hard nowadays to find quality work people that do what they're supposed to and it's done right and they charge you a fair price. After spending a good money on building this car and what I want to make it a transmission installed that gear vendors fix the transmission leak install a new pan custom made some brackets shortened my drive shaft to 14 inches that he found out was and things like that and just made sure the details were done right and when he handed it back to me that thing ran perfectly and it'sit's done right. They had to massage the transmission tunnel to get it to fit and the extra detail and modifications and just effort they put into it you don't find it any other shops anywhere anymore. I swear these guys are absolutely top of my list AAA rated. They do all kinds of other work to he gave me great recommendations for efi systems that they have real world 20 + installations of and gets their backing along with all kinds of other hints and tips and work that they could complete that I told you I'm going to be using them for. If you're looking for an honest shop to do work on any car modern or classic especially transmission drivetrain things like that I think they do tune-ups and everything else too please contact these people you will not be sorry. I always look at shops when I pull in cuz I have a classic car if it's got two civics and a Honda up on the lift I'm not really that into it if I pull in and they have pro street cars classics maybe some new sports cars or something you know that they're a great shop and they're getting quality work because they do quality work to make the transmission by far over exceeded my expectations I know I'll be using them for years now. Thumbs up definite top three businesses I've used so far this year this one is in the two or three Puerto Rico and that's saying a lot for how many cards and work I have done and shops that I've used because nowadays it just seems you can't find a shop or the Darn that has experienced Price is Right and does quality work at good speed and rate. Mostly they're unexperienced or they're charging way too much or they get in the middle of a job and then figure out it's 10 times more than they thought it was going to be so they start charging to overcharge you and things. Eddie guesstimate it exactly how much time he was going to need estimate initially was 1600 but that was before I had to do the extra pans in the leaks and stuff and custom made Braxton did all that stuff for just another $900 to almost 5,000 and I would have been bitching and screaming because it would have been more than I could afford Eddie got me scared away at high quality work that I don't think I'd be able to find anywhere else. This is literally going to be one of my top rated businesses of the Year. I don't use usually leave negatives but when someone really stands out I will tell their name from the mountain tops and to Temecula transmission is on the tip of my tongue to everyone I talk car with. 👍🕺😎🦸

This place was awesome. My rear differential went bad in my truck. One shop gave me a ridiculous quote and the repair it self was going to be over a week. I called Temecula Transmission, and they gave me a WAY better quote over the phone and had my truck repaired in less than two days. The owner is great and personable as well. I highly recommend.
