Chris is a delightful man. These folks are so wonderful, hard working, honest, and just all around good people. The "check brake pads" light came on in my Range Rover, so I took it in. Greg looked it over and called me up and said that the brake pads were in good condition and didn't need to be replaced (sensor needed to be reset). He could have taken advantage of me but they never do; they will get all of my business and if you are smart you'll give them your business, too.

These guys are honest and dependable, never advising unneeded work, and always offering a fair price for the work they do. My father has been taking his cars there for regular work as long as I can remember, and I plan to do the same. The one issue is that these guys are pretty much always busy. If you just need an inspection, be there right when they open at 8 and they'll fit you into the day, or you can call them and make an appointment for something more, but expect it to be a few days, maybe even a week, before they can fit you in.

Came here because of good reviews here on Google and am happy to confirm the reviewers are accurate to recommend this place. I walked in for a state inspection without an appointment, was told there would be 1.5 hour wait, had my car done and out the door in 2 hours, which is awesome. They were courteous, true to their promise of timely service, and I found them giving excellent service to all that came in, including answering their phones in a timely manner. I will definitely be back whenever my cars needs service. Thanks!!!😀

They are super nice and professional! I got my oil changed and an inspection done. They found some issues with my suspension and fixed that. When I got it back, I noticed some noise whenever I would break slowly. They had be bring it back the next day and they fixed it for no charge! Such great service and everyone was polite and helpful. Highly recommend!

My wife's SUV broke down on US-29, so we had it towed to Total Auto Service. They've been my preferred mechanic for the past 3-years. They accurately diagnosed the problem (broken drive shaft - Ugh...) and got it replaced in relatively short order. They were straight forward, professional and careful not to over promise. In fact, they estimated the repair would be complete by Tuesday, but over-delivered and the vehicle was ready on Monday instead. Thanks!

What a fantastic, friendly and accommodating auto service center. My daughter was home for one and a half days from college and we dropped her car off the night before. They didn't finish up the inspection until 230 in the afternoon and when Chris called he said the car needed 4 new rotors and some cracks on the exhaust need to be welded. My angst set it. It's 230 they close soon and she needs to leave to drive back to college by dinner time. I didn't want to put the pressure on her to get the work done and get it reinspected going into finals week Chris said it may be tight, but we can get it done and at 530 we were picking up the car. The price and their hourly rate were fair, the work high quality and the customer service and communication top notch. Many thanks to Chris and the team! We will be using them for all of our car's service from now on.

This place is awesome! My son was driving his older car down I-64 when an oil light came on and he had no idea where to go. Chris said he would at least check it out for him , so he drove there. So very nice of them to inspect it, and topped off the oil for free! Very good people work there!!

Took my car in for state inspection, was told it would take about 1.5 hrs. So, I stayed to wait. It took 2.5 hrs! I could see into the shop from the window. The men worked very slow, and one was drinking what appeared to be a beer. I mentioned that it took really long and got a lame excuse about waiting on paperwork. I’ve never had it take this long before at other places. I don’t reckon I’ll use them again, or if I do, will figure on twice the time.

I trust Total Auto completely after 15 plus years of service; they’ve never steered me wrong and always fixed my Lexus to perfection and they give you the straight story. They’ve been so good over the years all of my family members come here as well. Chris,the manager, and Jay,the assistant manager, are stand-up guys, honest who knows their stuff (all the techs know their stuff as well). The shop is personable, courteous, are true professionals who go above and beyond in terms of customer service. Great place- highly recommend.

Total Automotive has been a golden nugget to find. All of the employees are honest beyond measure, knowledgeable, and don’t try to pull a fast one for tacking on repairs beyond what you come in for. They will let you know only what needs to be repaired and will also tell you what can wait. Their prices are fair and competitive, and I definitely come out lower than if I took my car into the dealership for repairs. You can’t go wrong with Total Automotive.

An honest mechanic I took my car in for brakes and inspection, has over 100k miles on it, and I’ve never had to do anything to it except tires, battery and oil changes. Told them that and to look it over, and they actually told me it was in great shape, and did not try to get any additional services out of me, even though I opened the door for them to do just that. Very refreshing to find honesty in a repair shop.
