They patched a hole from a nail in my tire. They were quick and friendly. It may just be me, but I thought the $25 charge seemed high. I could be wrong and this could be the going rate. Anyway it was worth it getting done so fast.

I took my truck to town and country tire and auto on 9/28/18 for a simple 2 wheel alignment. After 45 minutes of waiting the service manager approached me and explained that they couldn't align my truck in their allotted time of one hour. He also informed me that to finish the alignment it would take a couple more hours of work and a couple hundred more dollars. I was told the truck should drive straight. Once I left the shop I immediately realized something wasn't right when the truck still pulled hard to the right. On their receipt it states that they set the camber, caster, and toe when doing an alignment. After driving like this for one month I took my truck to a different alignment shop. They finished my alignment in one hour and upon completion informed me, both of the upper control arm bolts on the left side had been left loose by whomever had last been in the engine bay working on the suspension, my caster, on the left side, was off by three degrees and my toe had not been set correctly on the right side. I will discourage friends and coworkers from visiting town and country tire and auto after my poor and dangerous experience.

To make a long story short I had my thermostat changed here and it was pretty pricey but I needed it done. 6-7 months later my car starts to have problems overheating so I take it in and they can’t find nothing wrong with it. After taking it in about 3-4 or times trying to figure out what’s wrong with my car they tell me I have a “blown head gasket” which is almost a $2,000 fix .. go figure. I took it somewhere else and all what’s wrong is my thermostat was stuck open! I wouldn’t take my car there ever again the mechanics there are mediocre and the place is a little expensive. And this situation really upset me because my thermostat was under warranty there and since they “couldn’t” find nothing wrong they couldn’t replace it under warranty. I feel like they just didn’t want to fix it for free. Again stay away from this place!

I took car in for alignment and to fix a couple tires. They were great communicating with me on issue that popped up with strut and gave me options to fix. I thought the price was fair and happy with everyone I interacted with there.

Charged my cousin 206.00 for a maximum 36.00 part and 111.00 for an hour 25 minutes which on labor book and my own knowledge 45 minutes and 60-80 dollars labor. 36.00 for less than a gallon of coolant witch should have been 9.00 . Total charge 391.00 instead of 156.00 . If you don't like getting ripped off, don't go there.

My car was towed by AAA to Town and County Auto Repair. My interactions with them were unfriendly and unprofessional. After looking at my Jeep, they said it needed a new battery and the software needed to be reset. I was charged $120 for the diagnosis, $120 to reset the software, $250 for the new battery and $50 to install the battery. When asked for a breakdown of the charges, I was given a vague description and they and and unfriendly attitude. Would not recommend based on treatment and pricing.

I have used this place for a while now and thought I was getting reasonable service. I had an issue with my truck and took it to them for a quote. I feared the worst as I saw the laundry list of items that needed to be replaced. I was quoted for a full brake replacement that was way out of my budget. I assumed they were honest and fair and began saving money. I decided after a bit to get a second quote from a guy I really trusted. Come to find out I DID NOT need ANY of the services or quotes that I had received from this location. NONE OF THEM! My cost dropped and I am only paying a third of what I was quoted for. On top of that things were missed that really did need to be replaced that is supposedly part of a routine check up. I am a very honest person and do not usually post negative reviews. Please take my advice and at least get a second quote. Very disappointed and disgusted with this location. Sincerely, Honest Previous Customer

This place seems to want nothing but extra money. I have never gone here myself but my family has gone here for a long time. These are my secondhand observations. It all started a couple years ago when they replaced the tires of a family car. Less than a week later, the car breaks down and they said that the axle is about broken, and completely unusable. Most mechanics check the integrity of a setup before adding more parts on, right? Not these guys! They were more than happy to take hundreds of dollars, no question. Next, fast forward to a year ago. A simple check engine light check later, and they come back with a whole checklist, totalling more than the cost of the car that was inspected. Lastly, and my final straw. Recently our family purchased a new to us truck. We brought it here for the pre inspection. They only listed a sub frame, control arms, and links and bushings. 2200 dollars later, not even 3 days after the repairs, the check engine light comes on (was not on before the repairs!) and the truck makes a horrid squeaking noise (was not noisy before the repairs!). We took it back to have them check it. The guy we talked to didn't mention anything about prices (keep this in mind, its important). A few hours later we go to pick the car up and they quote us for new struts (which were evidently NOT checked in their "thorough" pre inspection) and the oxygen sensor needs replaced. When asked if it is urgent, the guy curtly replies "well, if you want the noise to go away" which is code for no, it is not mechanically dire, but we want your money. THEN, and here is the kicker, they tried charging us for checking the engine light, when the guy earlier didn't say anything about a cost. We did not end up paying the steep fee for that. If you want unnecessary work done and only partial inspections marketed as thorough, go ahead and come here. If you want a 300 to 400 dollar markup from what a service is actually worth, go ahead. If you want more problems coming out of the shop than what you started with, go ahead. Otherwise, avoid this place. Go somewhere that actually cares about your car and not the dollar signs...there's a good place right across the street!

I called this company last minute, looking for a tire to be put on before the blizzard hit. they were able to get me in and out in 20 minuets. The store was closing but he stayed later to make sure that I was taken care of. I definitely recommend this business.

Colby was exceptional handling my truck issues. It had special needs at age 21. He helped me make the right decision necessary with focus and great customer service. The place is right like a tight ship. Clean. I was impressed. I'm recommending all my friends.

I'm visiting Indiana for couple months and decided to take my car to this place since it's a Goodyear. Had an engine light on and few other things needed to be fix. I drop it off Saturday and they told me they'll call me Monday morning and let me know the issues and Joe much it will cost me to fix it. Well no calls, so I end up calling myself Tuesday and the manager explain and give me the total estimate. Fast forward, Saturday came, I came by to pick it up and they charged me $1400 instead of what the manager told me &1200. They told me they forgot to tell me they need to replace this or that or add thus and that. They done it without my permission and did it anyway. So I end up paying $1400 and left. Less than two hours after picking my car up, my engine light came back on, my horn is not working, and my grill is broken. I call and told the manager and he says we didn't touch your horn or even grill, bring the car back and we will take a look at it. I brought it back, they did the test on it and yelling me there's another issue why your engine light on. We not gonna fix it for free but charge me another $200 plus tax. Basically they rip me off and took advantage of me. So I'm not coming back to them and I hope something will be done about this in coming future. The manager and the staff are very stupid and run their mouths. Very discourage and not pleased by it. Don't go there unless you know the mechanic in person. Especially for those of you who travel a lot, like me, I won't recommend u taking a car for a quick fix to place you do t know off. I have learn my lesson for sure.

Very kind staff. Willing to discuss options and questions. Very timely with getting my vehicle in and fixed. Only concern is they did not call me to tell me what I suspected was indeed the issue and that they were already fixing it. Price was relatively fair. I would return again should the need arise.

Took vehicle in for insurance repair after hitting a deer. Didn't replace everything. Coolant still leaking. Said it was a hose so we spent another $350 for that. Coolant still leaking. Then they said it was water pump and wanted another $1200. Will never take another vehicle there and don't recommend them.

I've done business with these guys for over 15 years. I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed for choosing them to handle my auto repair needs. Their customer service and quality workmanship has always came in far above the normal expected! Okay after all these years of loyal patronage it finally happened. Things took a turn for the worst. Had a vehicle in for some work, it was light related. The repairs done didn't hold up. About two weeks later it went back to the way it was before they repaired it the counter host blow me off made excuses. At that point I had started to attempt to reach the owner, who bounces back and forth between two locations. Left over a dozen messages expressing my concerns and explaining the situation to him. You never tried to contact me once! Not a missed call or anything. Taking this into consideration My overall opinion Town & Country Tire and Automotive has changed! So no I would not recommend them to anyone for any reason. I'm counting my losses I'm not even going to try to recover the cost other unsuccessful repair work, they're disregard for long-term loyalty says it all! I would have met him in the middle somewhere on resolving the situation. But he lacked common courtesy to even inquire of my concerns, so I'm done

Came in for an oil change and overall check-up. As always, the service was done efficiently and quickly. Colby did a great job getting us in and out. Ron should be happy to have him as the store's front man. These are all reasons why T&C Goodyear has been our "go to" spot for the last 10+ years! They do a great job and never "suggest" unnecessary work.

Clogged AC hose and hole leaked scalding hot water under my dashboard and onto my feet while I was driving. This all happened on a Saturday morning while visiting South Bend. Colby and the crew were so nice. Gladly fixed my car for me so I could head back out of town in the evening. Very reasonable price, Perfectly fixed, nice people, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

The only reason this place is getting 3 stars is because of Brian. I've been dealing with mechanics and problems with my car for 2 months now and we finally just decided to take my car in somewhere local hoping to get better service and honest answers. Upon calling a couple weeks ago we were told to brung in the car they'll order parts and make sure nothing else was wrong. We were told by Brian it'd take a few minutes so no appointment was necessary. My boyfriend took the car in and spoke with the owner. My boyfriend told me he was there no longer than 5 minutes. No appointments were made, nobody looked at my car and no parts were priced or order in that time. The owner brushed him off, had no interest in looking at the car and made my boyfriend feel stupid for explaining the issues. He was told they'd call me about prices in a couple of days. A week later and we've heard nothing. Called back to let them know we no longer had interest in their services and we're choosing a different mechanic. Brian immediately wanted to keep our service and wanted to look up parts, prices and a time frame on when we could get my car in to be fixed. Brian seems to want the work and customers, the owner however doesn't. I can't support a business when the owner has no interest in making his customers feel welcomed and appreciated.

I had my Hyundai towed in on Tuesday 1/28/25. On Thursday I received a Quote for the repair required. They performed the repairs and I picked up my vehicle this afternoon. Alls well so far.

I have stored my winter tires and rims at this location for the life of my 2013 car … every spring I make an appointment and switch the tires/rims out for a minimal fee. Throughout my time doing this… I have also purchased new tires through this location as well as had my oil changed and they also fixed an alloyed rim that was chipped. And just today (11-8-22) they replaced the catalytic converter. They came in more than $1k under Midas. I’ve always had professional service on each and every trip. I even told my own family they treat me like family going there. 👍🏻

I have never had a bad experience with these guys. They are so easy to work with, communicate frequently and do not overcharge. I’m really impressed with their speedy repairs and quality customer service. 100% recommend. Thanks, Colby & crew!
