I can’t say enough good things about Patrick and Justin—they have been absolutely wonderful and truly went above and beyond to help my child with their car. Dealing with car issues is always stressful, but trying to coordinate repairs from halfway across the country as a mom adds a whole new layer of anxiety. Patrick and Justin patiently guided us through the entire process and did so with a level of kindness and care that’s incredibly rare in the auto repair world. Thanks to them, my child now has a safe car, and I have peace of mind. If you’re looking for genuine, compassionate professionals, you couldn’t be in better hands.

The bottom line is that I wouldn't take my car here again. I rated this service center two stars rather than one because, at the end of the day, the team here did eventually perform the work needed and the staff was consistently courteous. But employees at every level provided me with incorrect information, gave me the runaround, and wasted tons of my time. I went out of my way to go to this location because it had good reviews on here, so I felt obligated to let people know that, unfortunately, they do not always live up to those reviews. The big problems were: - When I called the service center, they told me that they had the parts needed and could complete the work that day if I arrived for a 4pm appointment that day. Then, when I drove out there, they first told me that I would need to leave the car overnight, and then that they didn’t even have the necessary parts at all. I drove home frustrated and empty handed. - The next day, I spoke with the person in charge of the service center. He assured me that they’d get the parts, that he’d personally make a second appointment for me, and that I should ask for him when I arrived. When I returned to the service center for my appointment, it took 20 minutes for the employees to even start the process of checking me in, and when I asked for the person I’d spoken with, I was told he was in an interview and that someone else would handle it, forcing me to yet again have to explain what work was needed. The small problems were: - For my first appointment, despite the fact that I’d called ahead, talked through the work I needed done, and seen it reflected in my email confirmation, the people I spoke with once I arrived seemed to have no idea about any of it and had me repeat everything all over again. - The tech I spoke to for my first appointment sent me a text saying that I could use that number to ask him any questions about the service. I sent multiple messages asking who to speak with about my problems, but received no reply. - I was charged about $15 more than I was quoted. Half of that was sales tax, which, fair enough. But half was for unspecified “environmental charges” which is a fee that feels like it should have been disclosed as part of the original quote. - When I brought my key to the valet to retrieve my car, he spent a decent amount of time looking for it in the back before he realized it was parked in the front, in a place that I could have just walked to rather than having to add an extra step to the process. - The techs left a dirt-ridden, torn paper floor mat in my car, as well as a small installation manual for the part they installed. The positives were: - Every staff member was unfailingly polite throughout the process. - The assistant service manager who handled my second appointment was particularly professional and dutifully answered all my questions. - The work did eventually get done. - The employees disclosed issues with their shuttle service and a credit card surcharge to me ahead of time, so while those were pain points in the process, it felt like the staff was being fair and open about them. Still, overall, this was a time-sucking, aggravating experience from beginning to end. What is the point of calling ahead when the operators give you incorrect information and the techs ask you to repeat everything anyway? What is the point of making an appointment at all when you have to wait in line for 20 minutes for employees to even start the check-in process? What is the point of a manager telling you to ask for him when you arrive, when he's apparently scheduled an interview that conflicts with the very appointment he set? Suffice it to say, I don’t plan on coming back here. I hope other car owners who are deciding where to take their vehicles can at least get the benefit of my unfortunate experience here. And I hope that the service center works on improving their processes so that others aren’t subjected to the same problems I was.

I appreciate my salesman Terry (Fleet mgr), who always provides excellent service and always goes above and beyond. He is always there to help resolve issues. I have come back to him over and over again purchasing 4 vehicles and 1 trade in. I would love to thank him for his honesty and support. Terry is the reason my husband and I do business with Toyota of Richardson. We live close to a Toyota dealership but choose to drive to Richardson

Re- 10/16/25 - 5 days later y’all are still “reviewing“- I have called and emailed, Even Toyota Brand management has reached out and left a messages y’all have NOT RESPONDED. But you have the time to get online and post this response??? I brought my brand-new 2025 Toyota RAV4 LE for its first service on Oct 10 at Toyota of Richardson. When returned, the front bumper paint was peeled off. The manager refused to take responsibility even though the service advisor confirmed no prior damage and there’s camera footage from check-in that would verify it. I’ve owned both a Toyota Highlander and a Honda Accord and chose Toyota again because of its reliability and service reputation — but this experience has been extremely disappointing. I’ve already contacted the Service Director and Toyota.com support, hoping Toyota will step in and make this right. Re- I have called and emailed but have gotten NO resolution. Even Toyota Brand management has reached out and left a message y’all have NOT RESPONDED.

I bought my 4Runner at this dealership 5 months ago and it had zero issues. They included a 2 year oil changes which I thought was a great value, considering each oil change these days is around $90-$100. The sales guy was very calm and collected, no dramatic swings during negotiations, no games with “going back to the manager”, no adding arbitrary fees and other tricks. Overall it was great buying experience and I would buy from them again. Yesterday I tried their free oil change and it was great experience too. They have a nice waiting room where I was able to do some work on the computer, while they were servicing my truck. It took about one hour. The did not try to sell me on any additional work, which I appreciated very much. Overall, I very much like the way this business is being run and they way they treat their costumers and I feel like they are trustworthy, which is rare in this business.

Everyone at Toyota Richardson was incredibly friendly and helpful (especially Casey) I never once felt pressured to add on services I didn’t need, which I really appreciated. The shuttle service was a huge bonus and genuinely made the entire experience so much better. Will definitely be back.

Had a tire problem headed to an early morning flight, and abandoned my car about 5 miles from the dealership. They picked it up in my absence and with an extra set of keys my wife dropped off, the car was ready when I returned the next afternoon. Great communication throughout the entire process, and appreciate them transforming a troubling incident into a seamless experience.

We've been coming to this Toyota for over 20 years and bought multiple vehicles from them. All the way up until this last year, they have been quite nice and professional. Not now. My latest couple experiences at this service center were extremely frustrating from start to finish. Initially I came for a basic 15k service, and instead of being met with professionalism, I was treated with rudeness and complete disregard. They instantly told me I'm not covered and it will cost me blah blah blah. I told them I have ALL the top warranties and coverage bought and they proceeded to argue with me saying not their problem it's not in their system. I could not believe how they answered me like that. (I was and am covered just fyi. They found that out later after giving me all the trouble. Although they never properly apologized.) The employees/manager clearly did not understand how to deal with an customer issue and caused me to become very unhappy because of their personal pride. The service manager was actually even worse, if you can believe that. Rather than listening or trying to calm the situation, they spoke to me in a dismissive and condescending way, as if my concerns were not valid. At no point did anyone try to explain things clearly or show even basic empathy, something that should be expected when a customer is dealing with car problems and stress. To make matters worse, the service itself was incompetent. Caps were left off and some completely missing, wires were not attached, time was wasted, and other things in my vehicle were messed with and changed for no reason. When I questioned this, I was met with attitude and backtalk instead of answers. Being talked to rudely while already upset only made the situation worse and showed a complete lack of customer service training. Avoid and do not deal with Justin H. and Johnny in this service center. Trust me you will thank me later. They are very rude and condescending individuals, not professional. I'm quite surprised they are allowed to treat and talk to customers the way they do, and at this point I think it's just that people don't want confrontation so they just put up with it and don't say anything. I am not afraid to speak up against incompetence and a bad attitude when it comes to how customers are treated. These last couple experiences are completely unacceptable for a Toyota service center. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, especially when they are already frustrated. There should be de-escalation especially from the managers which they were actually by far the worst ones to deal with. I will not be returning and do not recommend this location to anyone expecting professional or courteous service. I'm going to McKinney. They actually treat people correctly up there and they are much more competent in their service.

They are eager to improve the dealer pricing with various discounts whenever they apply to work being performed. Went in for a recall maintenance service. Added several more services since I've been neglecting the car after warranty expired. Excellent waiting areas with new deluxe coffee machine.

They did a great job in getting my car done timely even though it was a very busy day. Since I live pretty far from the car dealership, they made sure to get my work done in a few hours. Alex did a great job and making sure all of my needs were met, and in explaining things to me.

I went back to Toyota of Richardson Service Center yesterday to get my routine oil change, filter change; including wiper blades replacement and tire rotation. Excellent customer service, and my Service Advisor Michael was so courteous, polite, friendly. The entire team provided great service and was prompt! Also, I only had to wait about one hour for my car to be serviced, which was PERFECT because I was able to arrive early to pick my son up from work! I always take my car to Toyota of Richardson Service because I trust them and the quality of service they provide. Thank you, P. Collier

This is the best Toyota dealership in the metroplex! As a woman, I’ve had issues at other Toyota dealerships and came to Toyota of Richardson hoping they’d be different - they absolutely were and exceed my expectations every single time. Employees are kind, respectful, talented at troubleshooting and problem solving, and are great at explaining what they are doing in an understandable way. Updates are detailed and helpful. Thank you to everyone from the front desk attendees to the service advisors and technicians - you all are fantastic!

I had a recall service done at Toyota of Richardson. They called me to alert me of the recall and got me scheduled quickly. From start to finish, the process was easy and felt very well managed. I appreciated that the car service was completed on time as promised and all went well. I was impressed with the facility, team and overall service. Would highly recommend this service site as staff and location is run professionally!

I usually don’t post bad reviews however I feel this review is warranted and justified. Two weeks ago, I got my oil change done at this service center. However, recently, a few days ago, I started smelling (what I initially assumed was gas) whenever I would turn on the AC. I checked my hood to inspect and i realized the oil cap was not secured on properly. It was upside down when I found it and oil was sprayed everywhere on my engine, including seeping into my ventilation. A big fire hazard! Thankfully I noticed it before it could’ve turned out for the worse and erupt in flames. The manager was very caring however when I came in to have the issue fixed and my car was cleaned as compensation. However, I feel inclined to make this review as a cautionary measure for other customers and reminder: to always check the status of your car after being serviced here!

Who knew visiting a service center could be so easy and even enjoyable? Everyone from Alex, the team member who assisted me, to Justin Hogue, the assistant service manager, made sure my experience was efficient and pleasurable. This was my first visit to this location but I will definitely be returning. I drove away feeling confident my vehicle was well taken care of. Cannot recommend enough.

I made an appointment for an oil change . I was greeted the minute I pulled in the bay. The representative was polite and smiled at me. He invited me in to look up my warranty and spent time explaining what my warranty . Then I was directed to thr waiting room . It was 5 pm and I was starving as I am a teacher and had not eaten since noon. I was delighted to find snacks and drinks in the vending machines and complimentary water. The representative soon came to tell me that my car was ready . My warranty also covered cleaning the floor mats and resetting the panel display . I was very pleased

If you're someone who's wary of car salespeople and their tricks, come to Toyota of Richardson and ask for Amer Radwan. He's transparent, honest, and straightforward, and within minutes you'll feel like you're with family and right at home. Plus, he has over 400 cars available, and he'll show you all the options. My credit situation was very bad, but he sold me a car with only a $1000 down payment. The car was full of gas and came with the original spare key. He also helped me get insurance at a great price. Thank you, Amer, you're the best! And a special thank you to the amazing finance team. I'll be sending all my friends and acquaintances who want to buy a car your way.
