Never again. Called ahead to see if I needed an appointment and if the kids and I could stay in the van while they did a standard oil change and tire rotation. They told me no appointment needed and yes, we could. Got there, no other customers, had to park and go in w kids for service. An hour and a half later, they still hadn't started tire rotation. $30 for oil change. Go somewhere cheaper and faster.

first time i went here, i asked for an oil change, they told me to come back two hours later (since they dont do appointments???) and by the time i came back they told me they couldnt do it. more recently i came in about an hour before close and waited 30 minutes in the lobby for a tire install. if a nuclear bomb went off right where i was standing i dont think there would be any walmart employee casualties. guy finally came in and just said "cant do that today" and went to go help someone else. i dont care how cheap their services are, i would advise you to spend a few more dollars to go somewhere where they treat you with at least a baseline level of decency.

I went there to fix my tire, the lady that took my details was very nice and professional and I was told that my car would be ready in like 3 hours. I get a call almost at the 3 hour mark saying they won't be able to change my tires because the power gun cant loosens the nuts. ( this is the second time I am having this issue in the same location), I go back there to pick up my car. The guy at the counter looked liked he was forced to be there and as though he was doing me a favor, he gives me my keys and I go get my car, getting to my car,I noticed my tires are not in the car, go back inside and ask for my tires, he tells me to pull up to the bay and someone will put my tires back in the car, I drive to the bay as instructed and I wait for almost 5 to 8 minutes, while I waited I noticed that the cap covers were taken out and put in a bag on the passenger's seat. Then one other guy walks in and looked away, then the guy came in and walked towards me and said my tires are by the entrance door and that I can go pick them, I showed the same guy ( I later found out his name is Simon), he said the forgot to put them back and I asked him if he could do it, he said no, I can just pop them back on ,but I wasn't the one that took them out,my tires wasn't changed and I have to put the tires I didn't take out of the car back into the car. I reported the issue to the lady that attended to me in the morning,she shook her head and offered to put them back on. Which I declined and I had it done myself. This is the second time I have being here and staff that work in the tire center are not nice,zero customer service. I wish I could give them a negative rating, what do they care..they will get paid end of the month either way. It is really really sad.

Great folks. However, i have taken two sets of wheels to get tires put on, and both sets have been installed poorly. My dad’s tires leaked all the air out of both drivers side tires immediately after installing them. My fiancé’s tires leaked to 11lbs after 24 hours. I am dissatisfied with the quality of the install and will not be returning to get leaky tires installed on my vehicles, subsequently risking my family’s safety. Auto repairs should be taken seriously and done diligently for the sake of the customer and others on the road

Today I had a bad experience with my car. I went for an oil change, and when I came back, I heard a noise. I took it to my mechanic, and he noticed that my front tire was missing two bolts, which is why it was vibrating. I'm going to request a refund. Walmart Frederick

Horrible, do NOT go here. Got 2 tires replaced and when I left my car was super loud and shaking. Called them and was told that the machine used to balance the tires was broken. I was never told this at the time of the replacement. The employee I spoke to said I would need to speak with the supervisor but they wouldn't be back for 3 days. They then suggested I call the other walmart in my area to address it but I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone when I called multiple times.

This is absolutely ridiculous calling and calling and calling for over 40 minutes and nobody answers at the tire center. Nobody answers at any extension to even try and remotely get help.!!! That’s Walmart for you. Very sad.

Employees are unaware of the services they offer. I have a warranty on the tires, but I had an emergency with damage to a tire emission on the street and I went to service. 1. We don't have that tire, order it online and we will refund your money. 2. I buy the tire online, I go to appointment and there is no guarantee according to the store. 3. I make another appointment with the manager for service, she tells me that since it is online they must resolve it. Online they told me that it is with the manufacturer, a manufacturer that is Walmart guarantee and they must resolve it. 4. They cleaned their hands saying that it is not road damage and does not cover, because it should be visible with nails or holes, when the rubber completely deteriorates within the warranty mileage and explanation. I'M NOT COMING BACK!!!

I took my Lexus GX for a routine oil change, but the experience was nothing short of frustrating. Despite having the earliest appointment of the day, I was kept waiting for 40 minutes before anyone touched the car. When they finally did, the technician struggled to figure out how to even open it. After another 30 minutes, he admitted they couldn’t proceed and refused service altogether. To make matters worse, when I took the car to the Lexus dealership the next day, they informed me that several bolts were missing, and the ones holding the skid plates (covering the oil filter and drain) were stripped and damaged. This was clearly caused by the technician’s lack of knowledge and mishandling. The technician working on my car seemed completely unqualified for the job. It was extremely disappointing to see someone so inexperienced handling such a delicate vehicle. Needless to say, I will never return, and I advise others to avoid this location. Zero stars if I could give that rating. Feel free to make any adjustments!

Pretty awful experience. I had an appointment at 7 am, the guy that assisted me initially was very kind and helpful, his name was Bradley,he let me choose tires and told me the final price woth taxes and that will take an hour. I waited one hr and went back to check on my car, never got a msg, and I see that my car hasn't even been started yet. Another guy comes out and starts telling me that the system is showing that they have more tires than they actually do from the one I chose and the ones that they have in stock are way more expensive, mind you at that point one hr and 20 min jave past and no one has started working on my car. I agree on 2 cheap and 2 expensive tires with a discount and after I waited another hr and 20 min my car was ready and that same guy tells me a price more than he told me earlier. I tried to explain that this is not the same price he mentioned and he was making me feel guilty, like I did something wrong and he was giving me a favor. Not only I waited hr and 30 min longer than I was told ,but I paid more. Horrible service by not very knowledgeable people! Except Bradley, he was cool! And that was the last time.. Decided to give them another chance...It was even worse. My appointment was at 10,didn't get my car in until 1148, the guy told one price, charged me more, the cat didn't come out till 1:14. Asked them why made me wait so long and charge me more, no one had an answer. Never seen so many people bad at customer service and not knowing what to do in the same place

I made an advance appointment for new tires and was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. I got there early and was told it would take 2-2.5 hours. This was an unpleasant surprise, however, I rolled with it. It took just under two hours. Driving home, the low tire pressure light came on...another unpleasant and stressful surprise that I now have to deal with before work tomorrow. So...not a great experience, but the guys in the shop were very nice and helpful, so three stars.

Auto department is absolutely pathetic. 4th trip here to get tires done after being told I can have the 5pm cancelled appointment, leaving once again without getting my tires changed. Management is nothing but a bag full of clichés and excuses. They take no responsibility for any of their screw ups.

I bought 4 tires( installed )for my vehicle as soon as I got on rt26 The tire were so out of balance. I call walmart back and they said I would to make another appointment as they are to busy to fit me back.in the sameday.. even though I just picked the car up. So I went and got them balance somewhere else. The funny thing is a person that bought tire at walmart (same location) came in right after me to get their tires balance also at the other shop.

EDIT: for what it's worth they fixed everything when I came back in... To say my experience here was disappointing would be too nice. The techs here wouldn't last an hour at a real shop. The time they spend to do the job incorrectly is absolutely incredible. I went in Tuesday to make an appointment for new tires on a Chevy 2500. Specifically told the tech I needed load range E tires as it was a heavy truck(this will be important later...) I chose tires from the options he gave me and made an appointment for Wednesday at 7.... Was told an hour and a half for install.... 9 am on Wednesday I'm told they can't get my rear tires off. I go home with a jack impact and large puller and half them off in ten minutes... Return for my rescheduled appointment on Thursday am told 1 hour this time.... 3 1/2 hours later I'm finally leaving with new tires installed. On my way home tire pressure light comes on all 4 tires low. Invoice says they inflated to 75 psi which would be correct for this vehicle. I check the tires and they are at 44 psi... Take a closer look at the tires and they say standard load rating... THESE ARE THE WRONG TIRES FOR THIS VEHICLE. At no point did any of the fine folks working here realize this or bother to stop work and say something if they did. Absolutely unacceptable please don't waste your time and money here.

unless im wrong i thought it was pretty standard to give a rough time estimate about how long a service could take. all i got was "i don't know there's a couple people ahead of you". they also NEVER pick up their phones. like i understand being busy and high call volume, but 24/7 all the time is insane. Learn to have a work ethic team.
