unsatisfied, over priced bill car still not working properly and a bunch of lies about my inspection. To sum it up I paid 375 dollars for no reason and my car is still broken. o yea and when i left they took the coolant out of it so i had to pour my water bottles just to get home. A real class act, AVOID.

Girlfriend brought car in to have ac checked, they replaced parts that wasn't asked for and never called her to discuss the work being performed. Did a state inspection that was not asked for..when she arrived to discuss the matter the owner was rude and unprofessional..

HORRIBLE. UTTERLY HORRIBLE. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. I asked for them to TAKE A LOOK at my car, NOT fix it. I told the manager and he had an attitude. I didn't even ask for them to fix it, only to take a look at it. He said I was "wasting his time" when they were the ones that misunderstood. Rude manager...

Wargo did a great job, in a timely manner. Lori was very easy to work with and answered all of my questions in a kind, professional way. A++ I will definitely recommend Wargo, and I will certainly return.

Trustworthy people to get your car inspected unlike the dealership i used to take it to. Took less than an hour to be in and on my way. Thanks for the great service.

They are AMAZING!!! Multiple issues with our vehicle after repairs were done at a chain auto shop. Wargo took the time to fix everything and address the underlying cause of the original problem. Recommend them to everyone.

The reason I do business with Wargo Automotive is based on two simple principles: trust and craftmanship. Regardless of the problem, I feel confident that the situation will be diagnosed properly and corrected in a timely manner. Having a wife and family, trust is essential when it comes to repairs on automobiles. In the 33 years I have done business with Wargo, I have never had to bring the car back and waste my time, energy and money on something they said was fixed, but wasn't. The craftmanship is superb. When they say something is fixed, I know it was done correctly and they stand by their word. A second generation of Harveys (my two sons) now bring their cars to Wargo Automotive.

Called about getting a state inspection, the gentleman I spoke to was incredibly nice and just said to drop it off on a morning that worked for me and that they would have it done around lunch time. I did just that and everyone I dealt with was nice and the price was very reasonable. I will use them again!

2004 Volkswagen Golf. Airbag light came on recently and I needed to pass state inspection. They tested and ran diagnostics on it and from there Wargo determined that it just needed to be rewired. Now, even before the diagnostic they told me it would take a couple days to do the repairs but they ended up finishing within same day I took the car in which was fishy. $335 for the state inspection, computer test, airbag diagnostic, wiring repair for the airbag and wire repair for a turn signal. After payment and pick up I drove off thinking everything was fine; I didn't even make it off Battlefield before my airbag light popped back on. Called them the following Monday to see what to do about it and was told to take it back so they could look at again. I am very skeptical about this bc obviously the problem was not fixed the first time. I will update after/if I take it back.

A local automobile dealership told me I needed work on my car. I called to make an appointment with Wargo, and was told in no uncertain terms that this particular job was *not* needed and a common local dealership rip-off. Bless you, Wargo, for being honest enough to tell the truth. You saved me time and money. If I ever have trouble with my vehicle, I'll be sure to take it straight to you, not the dealership, first.

After 15 years of doing business with Wargo and never having a problem with payment by check, I was unfairly discriminated against and required to pay by cash. For the last two months, Wargo Automotive was working on my Toyota Corolla replacing an engine under warranty by Marshall Engines. After multiple instances of Wargo postponing scheduled work and 2 months of frustration, we visited the owner and sought to find out why the automobile was not finished. After visiting the shop and mentioning our complaints directly to the owner, he became belligerent, raising his voice, shouting, using inappropriate language in front of my daughter and son and demanding that we leave. The next day, when the business finally completed repairs we were forced to pay over 2,000 thousands BY CASH. The sign on his counter clearly accepts credit cards. In the past we were always allowed to pay by check or credit card as well as other customers. We feel his unprofessional attitude and business conduct is unacceptable and will take our business to other mechanics in the future.

I have been taking my car to Wargo Automotive for years. I like the people there, especially Lori who always greets me with a smile. Bernie is an excellent mechanic and have always trusted him with my car. Have always gotten a fair deal there. Would recommend to anyone.

Had my Tahoe inspected and it was a great experience as always. Wargos always does a thorough and quick job. I normally do a drop off and almost always my vehicle is ready in a couple of hours.

I have had my automobiles repaired with Wargo for over 15 years. If you want it done correctly with quality parts that will last, then this is the place. When we first went to them we had been through three shops trying to get our Chevrolet van repaired. They diagnosed it as a bad distributor rotor and it ran perfectly. They are experts in hard issues when the vehicle is not running and other shops are half fixing the problem. I would not go anywhere else for a tune up.

Again, Wargo comes through for my vehicle, a Toyota 4WD. I noticed a problem which could be a locked front brake caliper which Wargo confirmed this morning. Both calipers with new hoses and pads were replaced , picked it up this afternoon. The work looks great and my vehicle handles much better, now. Thank you, Wargo. 9/25/25 --------------------------------------------------------------- I purchased this Jeep Commander last year with high miles and knew I'd have to fix a few things but this one seems to give me a problem, at 194K miles, when it is a must for me to complete my responsibilities. Now saying that, the jeep is now a reliable mode of transportation. Wargo repaired my Jeep once more with a timely response so I could make good on my promise. Bernie and Lori are great people and will do their best to take care of your vehicle. I trust them before I trust anyone else and will take my vehicle to Wargo for repairs. You can trust them to be timely at a reasonable price. I thank them for taking care of me. Best regards, Wargo comes through once more. My 06 Jeep Commander would not start and had the vehicle towed to Wargo for verification of what I feared was the issue, a defective starter. Wargo technicians verified the starter required replacement, provided a reasonable price and had me driving the very next day. Highly recommend this business, again. Wargo is 4 for 4 taking care of my vehicle issues from a Durango to a Jeep within a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. If Wargo does the type of service needed then I know I can rely on them. Great front end alignment on a '06 Jeep Commander, never handled better. Also, Wargo is a great source for machining exhaust manifolds, no leaks with a level smooth surface. Excellent!

We’ve used Wargo’s off and on for many years. While they have been honest in the past which is why we kept using them, they’ve gotten more expensive than most other places. In the past, they even saw something I came in for was under a recall and needed to go to the dealership. Recently, my mom’s car needed an alternator so they found a refurbished one and said it would be $800. I added on the inspection so I’m expecting to pay $820. I pick it up and owe $921!!!! What? “Oh we changed the wipers so it didn’t fail.” Then make a phone call and ask. When I dropped it off in the morning, I used the wipers and easily realized the drivers side side needed to be replaced. Passenger was fine. I even bought one when I did errands in the morning. They should NEVER have charged me for something I didn’t agree too. On top of that, they quoted me a price and didn’t bother say “that’s only part of the price. You’ll have pay more in taxes and fees.” Firestone was charging me $796 out the door. So I’m very frustrated. They wouldn’t take anything off the bill. They were just arguing $40 isn’t too bad for quality windshield wipers when I told them I paid $11 for one earlier today. A phone call would have gone a long way. So now I write this review and am so frustrated with the deception and lack of responsibility to ask about putting on new windshield wipers, especially $40 ones when only 1 new one was needed.
