They're either unethical, incompetent or they don't have the right tools for the job. Was having issues with my car and Auto Zone told me it was the alternator. I went here and they said it was the battery that was broken. Which was pretty unlikely considering that I just had the battery replaced! They wanted to charge me $36 just for testing my battery! I took it over to TO Hauss and they got it fixed up within a day for $100 less then these guys were going to charge me. What a scam!

Great experience. While they were not able to undercut the dealer on price, due to my car requiring OEM parts, they didn't charge me to diagnose my problem. I appreciate that, and I will do business with them in the future. I would recommend this place if you're looking for an honest mechanic.

I've been using Adams Auto Service for years! I recently had my 2010 Ford F150 in to replace a fuel pump & fuel module. Worked great for 2 months and then fuel pump died. Faulty part. Adams replaced the faulty pump free of charge. They warranty their work and it's a pleasure doing business with them! THANK YOU!!!

I took a vehicle here for a pre-purchased inspection and was absolutely impressed by their service. Not only did they thoroughly look over the vehicle and test drive it, but they also explained to me what was wrong how much it would cost and whether or not it was really worth it for me to purchase the vehicle. This is the best shop I have been to in any state I’ve lived in. The guys were super friendly and were patient and willing to explain to me in depth what was wrong.This is one of the few auto shops I have been to in a long time where I really felt welcome, respected, and valued beyond the monetary value of a customer.

Called to see how much & how long it'd take to change 2 struts on an 06 Grand Prix... couldn't give an answer and never called back. He actually sounded like it wasn't worth his time. People recommended this place... I DO NOT! Wilkinson's is a much better place!

After the change in ownership, Adam’s Auto is no longer the trustworthy shop it once was. I recently took my car in due to a check engine light. I was told I needed new catalytic converters and agreed to the repair. The car ran fine for a couple of days, but by day three, it began making a loud noise as if there was a hole in the exhaust system. The check engine light also came back on. When I returned to the shop, I was told nothing was wrong and advised to take the car to the dealership to have the ECU reprogrammed. Unsatisfied, I took the vehicle to two independent muffler shops. Both confirmed there were two leaks in the exhaust system, including one in the area supposedly repaired by Adam’s Auto. I was also informed that one of the catalytic converters had been modified, and the welds on the two converters were clearly different—raising questions about the quality and consistency of the work. What was even more concerning was that the owner contacted my stepdaughter place of employment (an auto parts store) to ask for my name—information that should have been available on the invoice. If the owner remembered my vehicle and claimed it was the only one they installed catalytic converters on, why the need to go through a third party? This experience has been deeply disappointing, both in terms of the workmanship and the lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this shop to others based on experience.
