I've taken three cars to this place for various reasons and always been satisfied with quality of the work, availability and communication. The last time I came here to get a second opinion on a repair that another shop recommended and wanted to charge $1500 for. Austin Automotive said my car didn't need any work and didn't even have the part that the other shop said was broken. Good people doing good work.

Morgan was extremely helpful in getting me the odd part my car needed. It was tough to find, but he was determined. He ordered it for me and was just generally very knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with. I appreciate the courtesy and professionalism shown to me, as well as their help with my car. Excellent service. They are straight forward and do the work you request without looking to do other work. I know; I keep records and have other shops that recommend work work I have just had done a few months or a few thousand miles ago. But Austin Automotive Specialists is NOT one of those shops. They are trustworthy.

The honesty is what keeps me coming back to this location. I've always had great experiences at the three different locations I've gone to but Melissa is truly great at her job at this location they never try to upcharge or make up some part you need replaced. Always happy with my service here. I've had my 2001 f350, and my 98 jeep cherokee serviced here. They are truly among the best.

Eddy and Mike at the front take great care of their customers. Mike especially worked with me on everything I had wrong with my car. It's not like a lambs that try and get you in and out these guys actually want you to be happy. Could not recommend enough.bgreat price, great people, great work. I got engine mounts replaced, break fluid replaced, a/c filter done and some other stuff, they do it all!

Go somewhere else, they did a service (which took 3 days oddly and I had to call and ask) and left a complete mess over the vehicle, but worst of all they damaged the car! They tried to not acknowledge any wrong doing by not notifying me and when confronted all they could say was accidents happen! So you accidentally left oil on steering wheel and body parts? Nobody there takes pride in their work, are there any decent shops left? Those scratches are deep and fresh and now on my own time I have to take more time away from work to get it repaired. UPDATE: So yes they did pay for the damage to the vehicle, and the owner responded to this quickly so that’s appreciated, can’t say the same for the store manager. He made everything sound like such a burden. The service I had done because it was recommended ($3k oil pump replace) did not fix the issue. Like I mentioned to the shop it could be the sensor or sending wire… I replaced myself and seems to be working well now with gauge reading properly. I wonder if it was even checked or voltage tested.

Everyone at this business is awesome. For real. Morgan, Doug, Marcus, Mark, Eric, Mike, everyone. Mike is the one usually at the front desk, so I see him the most. It always amazes me how easy going and friendly he is, all while maintaining a comfortable professionalism. He is extremely positive, even when he's really busy manning the phones, helping walk-ins and shooting the breeze with chatty customers like myself. I don't know how he does it. Everyone makes me feel at home here and I appreciate how they don't sugar coat things. They always tell me like it is! One day I called another location (by accident) and said I was going to drop off the car since they said it was okay to do so, and then I came to the location that I always come to and it was a surprise for them to see me here. I hadn't realized I'd called another location and made arrangements with them rather than my usual location, which is 12990 Research Boulevard. Duh. BUT they still accommodated me. No questions asked. Well... except for, "What now?" Lol Bring your vehicles to Austin Automotive Specialists where they have integrity, treat people honestly, and always have a smile to exchange with you. FoR rEaL! ☺️
