DONT COME HERE!! ESPECIALLY ANYONE OF COLOR!! Terrible service. Don huddles people out of their money not fixing cars or telling you it ll cost more than what it should then look to buy your car if you don’t want to move forward with repairs. HE VERBALLY THREATENED ME TO THROW ME OUT OF THE SHOP AND TO CALL THE COPS ON ME. He has no integrity and no honesty.

I had a Ford F150 engine blow and needed a replacement. An absolute nightmare. June 24th Don Wade was referred to us by Hightech auto in Vacaville where the truck was. He picked up the truck because Hightech doesn't replace engines. He calls a few days later saying the truck does in fact need an engine and it will be 3500 to order the new engine. I gave him a credit card over the phone as I was in Hawaii and he said it would be done in 9 days when I get back. Get back from vacation only to have Don say, oh next Friday the truck will be done and the next Friday rolled around and he said early the following week it will be done. Well this went on and on and finally I said Don this is my 16 year olds car and I need another one as she starts school. Well Don loaned us his piece of junk personal vehicle which wasn't even safe to be on the road. August 26th rolled around and he still had excuses and after my conversation went on and on I realized he had not even ordered an engine yet because the company he buys from wants more than 3500 now. I couldn't believe my ears at all - I ordered a tow truck and had my truck taken to another shop only to find the engine had been pulled out and placed in the bed of the truck, the front headlights are gone and the transmission is leaking fluid all over the place. Bottom line - This guy is a downright crook. Anyone doing business with him please do so at your own risk. Look up Solano County Court Connect and see how many times he's been in court yourself.

He dose good work on my truck a (1996 dodge 1500), in fact he found more wrong with the truck then we thought but still had to go to the dodge dealer in vacaville to fix the real problem (bent drive shaft) But dose excellent work I must say my breaks are great! and no squeakiness from under the truck at all, replaced all my wheel bearing and repaired my rear axle (only 300k mi) on it. I would go back again with any problems if I have any

Had a pretty bad oil leak. Dropped the car off at the shop and Don got back to me promptly with his diagnosis and a very affordable repair estimate. Gave him the go ahead and he got the work done quickly - and stuck to the original estimate without any expensive surprises. He also took the time to show me the failed parts and explain specifically what caused the leak in the first place. A trustworthy mechanic, highly recommended!

Don Wade is an excellent mechanic, very experienced and knowledgeable. Can't beat the GREAT work for the price as his work and shop definitely are worth it. I've had many cars thus many repairs, throughout our GREAT land, and, this shop and his knowledge are the best I've witnessed in over 40 years. He has a wonderful disposition and doesn't beat around the bush as he gets right to the point of your vehicles problems.

Very knowledgeable and professional. After calling almost all the mechanics in the city and even in Vacaville, most of them told me they would call me back with a quote for a specific job I was looking to get. Turns out none of them ever called me back and this is not the first time. Don helped me evaluate the problem over the phone and gave me a very reasonable quote for the job that I had requested on that same phone call unlike the other mechanics in the city. Once I dropped the car off, Don was able to diagnose my problem within an hour of me dropping it off after I had left. He called me and notified me that the problem was actually not what another mechanic had told me it was and told me what it actually was. Turns out my car was too far gone and needed a new engine. He didn’t charge me anything for the diagnosis and even towed the car back to my place with his towing services at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend him and will be coming back to have work done on my cars in the future when needed.

Bad mechanic and not very honest I took my 1984 F150 only thing wrong with my truck it was not starting he said the carburetor needs to be rebuilled he charge me $500 to come up about 4 days to do it when I got the car I took it for a test drive it was shifting really bad hitting really hard I told him that this is not normal he said oh they just put a sports shifter in your truck this is normal this is how it is took it to another mechanic he took the carburetor off rebuilt it and now I drive like a champ I just don't appreciate his dishonesty
