I scheduled an appointment at Firestone to have my tires rotated and balanced, along with a state inspection, and was able to get in the very next day—just in time before a long road trip I had planned for the weekend. The Firestone team performed a thorough inspection and found a few important issues: 1. My rear brake pads needed replacing 2. My engine oil was low 3. My coolant levels were also low They explained everything clearly, repaired the brakes, topped off the necessary fluids, and advised me to follow up with my dealer about the fluid levels. Their honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail really impressed me. Mark, the manager, was especially helpful and kind. He made sure everything was taken care of and that I understood what was needed. The whole team was knowledgeable and professional. I truly appreciate their thoroughness and fairness, and I definitely recommend this location for your car service needs

I have been going to this location since 2017 when I lived in Apex. Since then I have moved to Raleigh, Garner and Clayton. No other location treats me with the same courtesy and top service. They never try to sell me anything and always keep me abreast of what my car needs. They tell me what is actually needed and what to look out for if I don't have time to do the service. Today Justin, Will and Mike helped me in the shop and as always, i will be coming back.

I’ve taken my car to firestone in Apex a few times since we moved here. I’ve had no problem getting a same day or next day appointment so far (they also do walk-in), which is really nice when you think something is wrong with your car and you’re too scared to go anywhere before it gets looked at. All the staff I’ve interacted with have been friendly and professional, and they have always taken the time to explain things to me.

I have been coming to this Firestone location in Apex for 9 years with all my work trucks because I trust their work and the staff are always friendly. They never disappoint. I always sit and wait as a walk- in customer due to working in new construction not knowing when I will have time to schedule. The team recognizes this and always try to get me back on the road asap. This is the only place I will bring my vehicles to.

I am writing this review here since Firestone will not post it to their website. My husband and I have gotten routine oil changes from Firestone Auto Shop and have had fine experiences. I have also gotten 4 brand new tires from Firestone. Just two days ago, my husband's manual 2012 Subaru Outback leaked the clutch oil. We called to get this clutch fluid leak repaired, and they got us in the next day. After we dropped off the car for an estimated $700 in repairs, we received a call that the control arms were rusted and that we needed them replaced for another $1,685. We were not surprised because this car is originally from Northern Pennsylvania and Upstate New York. They called again and said that a part that is attached to the arms had rusted to it and that they had to cut it off. Now the bill was up to $2,300. We asked if there was any wiggle room to get the price lower, and they offered a $100 off coupon. They called for a fourth time and said that there was another obstacle in the way that they needed to drill out and replace. This would be another $200-$300. The price was now $2,717. My husband asked if there was any way they could help us out, and we were instructed to speak to the manager. When we went to pick up the car we requested that they break down our bill for us and show us the rusted parts. They were patient, and I appreciated their compliance with our requests. With that being said, they did not budge on their price and claimed that we were not being ripped off for $174 labor charge per hour and the little charges applied to our bill. I told them twice that my husband and I would not be bringing our business back to them. They did not seem to care and did not value us as customers. I walked away disappointed and upset, knowing that I would never return to a Firestone Auto Shop because of this experience. Fast forward to driving the Subaru Outback 2.4 miles home. After we parked our car in our driveway, we found that the front right wheel lug nuts were only hand-tightened and that the front right wheel was wobbly. This is a hazard, and I am so thankful that my husband did not lose his right wheel and/or crash before getting home. We immediately called Firestone and informed them of this dangerous mistake. They were apologetic that this happened and offered to send a technician to us so that they could tighten down the lug nuts. We then asked to speak to the manager. While speaking to the manager, we requested a partial refund for this hazardous mistake, and he said they do not give refunds for this mistake, but that if we could offer a number, he could work on negotiating something with us. He said $200 refund but then proceeded to tell us that we were making a big deal out of a $2,700 car fix and that if it were him, he would not be able to sleep with a clear conscience knowing that he was debating with a car shop about $2,700. This made us feel personally attacked and not supported as a customer. He went on to tell us that we were not being equitable and that they had gone above and beyond for us. He claimed that they should have charged us much more, but were giving us a "good rate." He even said he didn't think we should be receiving a $200 refund for the hazardous mistake they made by not tightening the front right wheel lug nuts. We are left feeling ripped off, taken advantage of, and victimized. Please never bring your car to a Firestone Auto Shop. We had a mechanic that we met after this experience look at our receipt and he said we were taken advantage of and charged for services that we should not have paid for. Firestone claims they care about customers and honesty, but our experience at Firestone Auto Shop in Apex was far from that. We are looking for a trustworthy, honest mechanic around the Apex area, and we hope you do the same. I wish I could say that after talking to the manager above Chad in Apex, they made me feel like a valued customer. Sadly, Bruce didn’t seem to value my husband and I as customers and did not care that we will never return to a Firestone ever again.

Everyone was friendly on a busy Saturday. I went in for a routine oil change, tire rotation, and alignment (I paid for a lifetime alignment) so that's why I have been coming back here. After 3hrs of waiting I was told the alignment couldn't be done because the lower control arm was cracked, and it would be $1800 to replace them to do the alignment. I was told it was a serious matter and needed to be addressed very soon. This didn't sit right with me since my vehicle has been driving fine, so I said I wanted to get a second opinion, and they had no issue with this. Fast-forward to this morning, and a local car auto shop tells me there is nothing wrong with the control arms, and they could even do an alignment. I am so glad I got a second opinion and didn't have to pay $1800 right before the holidays. If you go here I would just be careful on what they try to charge you extra for since it seems like they just didn't want to do the lifetime alignment.

Absolutely surprised that I have to give it a 1 star. Based on all the reviews I went over to this location as it was closer and hardly any bad reviews. Unfortunately I had bad luck, I went in to purchase lifetime wheel alignment, made an appointment over the internet. Got a quote from Firestone for $209. As soon as I got there and said I had an appointment the gentleman knew exactly who I was. Didn’t even engage in any conversation about lifetime wheel alignment. Got my license plate and proceeded straight outside to where the car was parked and pretended to look underneath the car and said it will be $87 more because of underpinning or something. Total B.S., almost seemed like they were behind on the numbers this month and needed to start catching up. I told him that I went online and I had a quote for $209 for lifetime wheel alignment. And I get it you got to add taxes and shop fees. Called another store and at least the rep explained to me in detail why the number was different but they didn’t charge me such enormous up charge. Even tried to throw in a coupon to bring the price down. It’s ridiculous that they wanted to charge me same price for just one wheel alignment as what it should have cost for lifetime. Just surprised and disappointed how one bad apple can bring down the entire store. I ended up buying two lifetime wheel alignment from another location and they had me in and out in 30-38 minutes for each car.

I was having trouble with my Hyundai and this Firestone took care of me the best a shop ever has. They replaced my shifter, battery, and a few other things. When my car needed additional repairs I was able to bring it right back and they helped me as quickly as they could. The gentlemen even waited for my uber to arrive before shutting the shop down. They told me my brakes were bad ( 2 out of 10) and I need to change both the front and back for $750 ea totaling $1,500. They also said my air conditioner needed a full service. I said no and immediately took my car to Pep Boys who had a deal to do the same work for $750 total. After Pep Boyz inspected my breaks they said they were fine. ( 6 out of 8 ). They said there is no reason to change them. The Firestone store and staff are ripping off clients and I’ll inform the Better Business Bureau and social media to stay away. On top of that, the technician left black grease on the inside of my door, floor and steering wheel. Such a horrible business.

The folks at this Firestone were very helpful, and service focused. I brought in a Mercedes SL550 with an intermittent leak in one of the tires. Even though they were not able to find the leak either - I think it's from the stem's valve - they did everything within reason to try to find it. After about an hour of time spent trying to get it to leak, it could not be replicated. Of course that's how this goes... The tire had been leaking on and off for the past 2 weeks and it decides to have a good day when I took to Firestone. No fault of Firestone. In the end, Firestone would not even charge me a diagnostic fee, even when I asked them to so that they would be compensated for their time. They wouldn't have it. I've never been to this location, but they're as good Holly Springs where I used to take my cars when I lived in that area. I will definitely be going back to this Apex shop when I need tire service or replacements! Well done to the team!

Super grateful to these guys! Spent all afternoon looking for somewhere to replace my flat, everywhere either didn’t have my size or were charging $200-280 for one tire. Not only was this FireStone able to help me, they did so for what I think was a great price, and they did it quickly and efficiently! Took all of 20 min as a walk in. I am a long time customer of this particular Firestone location (1401 E Williams St / Lufkin Rd). In addition to the oil change, tire rotation and alignment (I have lifetime alignment), the shop reminded me about spark plug replacement and additional service previously recommended. Although I was hesitant due to budgetary constraints, Justin was able to work some magic and get my entire service down to an affordable price! A week before my vehicle inspection was due, I took a chance and called Firestone in Apex (Williams Street) location to see if they could fit me in. It was a Sunday, so I expected to have to make an appointment for early in the week. To my surprise, they fit me in the same day. Upon my arrival, I was immediately greeted by Mike (Auto Care Advisor). He took my information and got my car in quickly. The technician performing inspections that day was about to head to lunch when my vehicle was brough in. Without being asked, he pushed back his lunch time to take care of my inspection. Will, the other Auto Care Advisor present that day, spoke to me after my inspection had been completed. He thanked me for my business, noted a few areas I needed to consider addressing regarding my vehicle in the near future and listened patiently to my questions/concerns. I highly recommend this Firestone if you are looking for complete car care. The advisors and technicians are polite, professional and prompt. They have earned my trust as a customer and I will be back for future services on my vehicle.

Mechanic is ASE certified for my F250 and the mechanical services provided have been outstanding. Also, this location has the best customer service team of any auto repair, service, tires, etc., that I have been to. Most recently they took my vehicle in after a highway breakdown and were able to fix the issue within 24 hrs. The cost of the repairs were fair and I feel I got what I paid for; good value for money to keep this old truck on the road.

Great service. Quick in and out. Dan is the best. Michael was very helpful. Thanks guys Went in for an alignment on a Tesla that was pulling very hard to right. I did not have my hard key with me and these guys still helped me out. Didn’t make a big deal out of it. They got the alignment perfect. I have expensive after market wheels, I explained I was concerned about scratching the rims. Dan walked around the vehicle with me and assured me they’ll take great care. After the car was done I walked around the entire vehicle, not one scratch. Amazing job! I have had nightmare situations at other shops these guys took excellent care of me on the first try and they were amazingly quick. If you want great service bring your car over to the apex location.
